“This is a very happenin kind of donut/lil coffee shop It's a local hanout spot for regulars in Harbor City in cute yet safe kinda way. Tho the neighborhood some would say maybe a bit on the rough side,,it does Harbor City prouD. It sits on a famous & for some a very historical landmark .. "Normandie & Lomita". A few steps and youre on Pch and Normandie.. . Favorite Doughnuts is in the right smak dab of HC . I would say that hands down this little cottage has definite,character & good vibes all day. I frequent there alot in the early evening & the night guy is always just a breath of fresh air to anyone He is always working hard with a very contagous joy to him ,& a bedside manner that is almost gaurenteed to make anyone smile. It has a lottery ticket machine ,an ATM,&even some old-school classic gum ball machines with all kinds of cool nicknacks that a quarter or two might getcha. They have great sanwhiches,chips of different sorts, a variety of candy for sale, even cigeretts, the best priced with in 10 a 10 mile radious,& hands down delicious coffee -& donuts. “Its a cool little donut shop open late when i needed him to be i start work at 4 am and its on the way the owner let me pick a donut which i payed for then he picked one for me and boy what a pick and no charge on that one. Not a lot of talk just a good feeling the rest of the way to work.“

“I stopped by this donut place the other morning and it honestly made my day. The moment I walked in, the smell of fresh donuts filled the whole shop. You could tell everything was made fresh because the trays were constantly being restocked.

I ordered a glazed donut and a cup of coffee, and the donut was warm, soft, and perfectly sweet. The glaze had that light crisp on the outside but melted as soon as I took a bite. It paired perfectly with the coffee.

The staff were really friendly too. They greeted everyone who walked in and made the place feel welcoming. It’s one of those simple spots that reminds you how good a fresh donut and good service can be. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m craving something sweet.“

“Came at 430 and had some warm fresh donuts and croissants. Have you ever had a freshly baked ham and cheese? It’s delightful and the cheese pools toward the bottom while you’re holding it! Friendly counter service. I saw their huge selection of coffee and creamers for all tastes.“

“The first time we tried a mochi doughnut, it was so disappointing. That was not the case here! We tried the black sesame mochi doughnut and the ube brioche (?). Honestly, I didn't pay attention to anything other than the fact the latter doughnut was ube... Ube dough with an ube custard. It was basically an ube cloud. Both were absolutely delicious and a textural experience.“

“My spouse and I come here at least once a week. We really enjoy the sandwiches and the iced coffee (strong and sweet, just how I like it). They stuff the sandwiches with lots of ingredients but will leave off any ingredient that you want and even give you pickled peppers on the side. We don't understand why anyone would even go to the Dunkin down the way when you can go to this place. The donuts are big and fresh here. They have such a variety of food and drinks (like fresh juices) that I'm amazed every time. If you think you won't find something you'll like, go in and at least see the menus on the wall.“

“I like to stop at this donut place when I'm in the area. They have a large variety of donuts and they all look delicious. Prices are reasonable. I usually get a mocha ice blended drink. The man who helped me last time fulfilled my request to have the drink extra blended (sometimes the ice is too chunky to drink through a straw when it's not blended enough). He was kind about helping me out. The lady is so kind too. I was having a rough time one day and she shared some kind words with me that kept me going. This place isn't located in the best part of town, but other than that I have nothing but good things to say about it - the food and the staff in particular.“

“MY Best friend went to get himself a turkey sandwich. And two ham sandwich for my daughter and I. He told me all 3 worker's treated him really kind especially the older guy. “This is a pretty standard donut shop, with pretty much every kind of donut you'd expect, plus a few delux varieties. The staff are quite polite. If you can get here just after opening in the wee hours of the morning, the fritters are especially fresh, but it's hard to predict exactly when they will open. If I'm on my way to work, then I need a backup plan for breakfast.“

“I come to Sweet Time Donuts once every 3 months which is 4 to (sometimes) 5 times a year primarily to play my lottery scratchers for almost 3 years now. Each time I play here, I win back more than what I spent. It's funny I just came back this month and learned someone recently won $25k four days after I showed up. This is a sign I will eventually win the big prize 1 day and the ladies are so cool they gave me a courtesy donut not too long ago for playing multiple scratchers and remembering me every time I come. “Wow. I had a long wait picking up someone from LAX so wanted boba. Gps led me to this nondescript place. Got the green Thai bob milk tea. Wow! Great flavor! Super subtle flower note, not so sweet, very light. Bob was warm and soft in the middle. This drink hits the boba spot and competes with the best of them in taste and in price.

Fast forward 27 years later, it is still the same owner behind the counter! The memory she has is remarkable! As there was a period of time that I didn't live in long beach and it was years before I came back here! That first time coming back, her tone was just that, like a family member who hasn't seen you in a long time! Remembered who I was, asked about my grandmother, mother and brother, and now that I have kids of my own, she has met my 2 daughters as well! “This is the donut shop of my childhood and I was in the neighborhood so stopped by for the first time in decades. It was a little past 10 and they were nearly sold out of donuts... a testament to their deliciousness. I still managed to get 4 for my family. “Angel Food Donuts is located at 3860 Long Beach Boulevard, Long Beach, California 90807. This is a great corner off of Long Beach Boulevard with a very convenient drive-thru area. There are boutique retail, carry out food places, and Medical offices located in this area.

Walking through the parking lot to the entrance along Long Beach Boulevard, it was easy to notice that the area was kept clean - both the parking lot and the drive-thru are spotless.

Upon entering the front door we were greeted at the counter with a friendly ‘how can I help you.’ There were a few people on the inside picking up and finishing up their orders. Classic donut shop ambiance. Everything was clean and the display cases were filled with products. I was pretty sure I knew what I wanted, but I asked what their most popular items were. I noticed like most of the donut shops I've been to, they have a classic croissant ham and cheese as well as a great selection of freshly made donuts. My favorite is an apple fritter. We ordered coffee, a couple of croissants, ham and cheese and two apple fritters to go. As she was carefully packing our box to go she asked if we would like to try the cake glazed donut. What a nice surprise! They were fresh and still warm.

As we were leaving there were some people coming in the door to pick up phone orders. There were a few people there for the peace and quiet with something to drink and a pastry. There is also a drive-up window that is very convenient along Long Beach Boulevard. Just look for the big donut!
