“Mr. K's Donuts is a wonderful family owned and local business. They have a wonderful assortment of delicious donuts and pastries that are freshly baked daily! My go-tos are the original glazed, sugar coated, maple bacon bar, and their ham and cheese croissants. Their coffee and drinks are great as well! Super clean, very good service, and fair prices. Everyone there is nice and willing to help.

“I like to stop at this donut place when I'm in the area. They have a large variety of donuts and they all look delicious. Prices are reasonable. I usually get a mocha ice blended drink. The man who helped me last time fulfilled my request to have the drink extra blended (sometimes the ice is too chunky to drink through a straw when it's not blended enough). He was kind about helping me out. The lady is so kind too. I was having a rough time one day and she shared some kind words with me that kept me going. This place isn't located in the best part of town, but other than that I have nothing but good things to say about it - the food and the staff in particular.“

“This is a pretty standard donut shop, with pretty much every kind of donut you'd expect, plus a few delux varieties. The staff are quite polite. If you can get here just after opening in the wee hours of the morning, the fritters are especially fresh, but it's hard to predict exactly when they will open. If I'm on my way to work, then I need a backup plan for breakfast.“

Fast forward 27 years later, it is still the same owner behind the counter! The memory she has is remarkable! As there was a period of time that I didn't live in long beach and it was years before I came back here! That first time coming back, her tone was just that, like a family member who hasn't seen you in a long time! Remembered who I was, asked about my grandmother, mother and brother, and now that I have kids of my own, she has met my 2 daughters as well! It's crazy to think someone you only really know as the donut lady can see so life and growth in people! I'm sure I'm not the only child who grew up and had this experience. Donuts are A1! Love her coffee and cappuccino! My favorite is her ham and cheese crossaints! Support local business owners like her! She's one of a kind!“

“It was a hot summer day! I had to stop driving due with the hot temperature.
Also, recently, my car's air conditioner broke down.
I was so thirsty so I stopped at the
Alex Donut Shop.
It was a small Donut shop. The place was organized and they kept the shop very cleaned.
The owner was from
Cambodia. He was attentive, friendly and
very helpful.
I was vey thirsty so I wanted to drink something cold and refreshing.
I ordered the Mango
Juice Smoothie.
And I tried the Ham & Cheese Croissant and Strawberry Cream Cheese Croissant.
The Croissants were
big and delicious! 😋
The Mango Juice Smoothie was so tasty, creamy and refreshing.
I really liked it a lot!

“This is a mom and pop donut shop on 7th street. Stopped by a few weeks ago to grab some donuts. They tasted like any other sugary goodness that contributes to diabetes. I also got their crossiant which I was a fan of. It was reasonably priced, cheaper than my local coffee shop and bigger. I don't each donuts all the time, but I'd recommend checking them out. Prices are reasonable and staff was nice.“
