I know that when ever I make a stop here, I won’t be disappointed. If you’re looking for pretentious trend donuts look elsewhere. This is a local mom and pops traditional donut shop that also serves up sandwiches.“

“It was my first time at Moon donuts and I will definitely be back again. I only put the atmosphere as 4 stars because there was no one in there at least while I was there with someone else I went with. It was sad in my opinion because it was one of the best tasting donut’s I ever had and I have had doughnuts from different places in the past. I tried one of the fancy donuts and the presentation was amazing.“

“This place looks like your average local donut shop.They have breakfast burritos and bagel sandies as well.Bagel Bacon Egg and Cheese was good. Nothing special but the bagel was soft and tasted good.The one that surprised me is the Raisin Bread. It was excellent. Not flaky but fantastic flavor.“

“The drive thru is so convenient in the early mornings. Be prepared to wait in line past 7am. The basic glaze they use for everything is tinged with lemon and is scrumptious. I recommend newbies try the mini glazed. Awesome old-fashioned vibe inside with ample seating. No restroom, no radio, no TV but lots of San Pedro history.“

“MY Best friend went to get himself a turkey sandwich. And two ham sandwich for my daughter and I. He told me all 3 worker's treated him really kind especially the older guy. He said the older gentleman told him to sit down while he prepared his meal and gave him coffee. He said the staff was very kind. Their sandwiches are very good. The best we ever had. “My spouse and I come here at least once a week. We really enjoy the sandwiches and the iced coffee (strong and sweet, just how I like it). They stuff the sandwiches with lots of ingredients but will leave off any ingredient that you want and even give you pickled peppers on the side. We don't understand why anyone would even go to the Dunkin down the way when you can go to this place. The donuts are big and fresh here. They have such a variety of food and drinks (like fresh juices) that I'm amazed every time. If you think you won't find something you'll like, go in and at least see the menus on the wall.“

I also bought an apple fritter which was delicious and perfectly cooked. The staff, and even the other customers, were very friendly. They also got good people working here, I left my CC in the morning, didn’t realize it till the next day, called and they said they found it on the table and would be happy to keep it safe until the next week when I was back in the town. “My husband and I are visiting L.A. for a few days, staying in Torrance. We wanted a little breakfast sandwich before heading to the beach. Found this place looking around on maps and decided to try it out. So happy we did; we loved it! It’s a small family owned shop. There are a couple tables if you wanted to eat there. Walking in, the donut cabinet was right and front. While we didn’t go for the donuts they looked absolutely delicious and it was tempting! They had a huge selection of sandwich options/combinations on the big menu board which made it so easy to look at, read, and decide. For the sandwiches, you have multiple protein options with bread options (croissant, toast, bagel). I believe they had a lot of bagel options as well but we did not really pay attention as that wasn’t what we were going for. My husband got the sausage, egg and cheese on croissant, and I got the bacon, egg and cheese on croissant. While waiting, I read the tea and coffee options and decided to try the iced Thai Tea. I’ve never had Thai tea before so I wasn’t sure what it tasted like; it was amazing! I’ve definitely found a tea I’d love to find and try more often! Our sandwiches were done and out in good time and packaged well in good quality recyclable containers. The sandwiches were bigger than we expected and so delicious! The man at the counter was super friendly and attentive too! We both highly recommend stopping here. If we lived around here this would definitely be a favorite little spot!“

“I got an iced coffee and a singlr donut. Total was $7.75. Seems a little ridiculous on price if you ask me.

The coffee was an espresso shot mixed with syrup and milk. If you wanted it sweetened with syrup or any flavor, it was an additional 25 cents. Basically, it's a latte when I just wanted a simple iced coffee.

The donut, on the other hand, was pretty good. They asked if I wanted it warmed up, and I said no....however, they proceeded to warm it up because one of the ladies in back said they had to warm it up to make it taste better.... so that tells me it must be pretty bad when it's room temp? Overkill on the service, especially when it wasn't necessary.

The location is a little rough... tight parking and hard to access when theres a lot of traffic. I'd go back to try other donuts.“

“This is a very happenin kind of donut/lil coffee shop It's a local hanout spot for regulars in Harbor City in cute yet safe kinda way. Tho the neighborhood some would say maybe a bit on the rough side,,it does Harbor City prouD. It sits on a famous & for some a very historical landmark .. "Normandie & Lomita". A few steps and youre on Pch and Normandie.. . Favorite Doughnuts is in the right smak dab of HC . I would say that hands down this little cottage has definite,character & good vibes all day. I frequent there alot in the early evening & the night guy is always just a breath of fresh air to anyone He is always working hard with a very contagous joy to him ,& a bedside manner that is almost gaurenteed to make anyone smile. It has a lottery ticket machine ,an ATM,&even some old-school classic gum ball machines with all kinds of cool nicknacks that a quarter or two might getcha. This place has the best crullers! Adjusting my review on 3/15/22. I went there Friday 3/11/22 at 8:30pm. They are open 24 hours a day. I walked in and no one was around out front. I wait a few minutes and call out for someone. I can hear them in the back room. I tried yelling to them for 10 minutes and they would not come out so I left. When I got in my car I called there to let them know they lost a customer. They wouldn't even pick up the phone. Very disappointing.“

When I go there, I like to order the #30 with cheese and mayonnaise and a large ginger tea; although they can special make a sandwich for you, I think the #30 is the best sandwich for a person that rarely eats pork. The ginger tea can be better than coffee to get the system going in the morning and the blood flowing. It is more healthier for sure.
