About $50.00 was spent between two people for a croissant, turkey sandwich, 2 non-alcoholic beverages, and homemade potato chips. While I expected airport food to be a bit over-priced, the quality was still quite poor. The potato chips tasted somewhat stale and chewy rather than crispy. The turkey sandwich was okay, but not super flavorful and the bread seemed like grocery-quality sliced bread. "Airport bars are airport bars"... But this one may be one of the best ones in the whole country.How many times can you sit outside under the Sun... have a margarita and watch planes land all in a cool upscale comfortable spot? I don't know of any other airport bars that are even outside.For those reasons I sometimes try to get to Long Beach airport a little early just so I can sit in the cool space and chill until ready to board my flight.

If you're at the LGB airport and you need to get your pre-flight drink on, 4th Street Vine Wine & Beer Bar are an A-OK option....On my Covid-19 visit, food of course was not available. However, there was a friendly bartender who was single handedly taking care of everyone's drinks quickly. She had game and I appreciated the hustle around the bar.The weather was southern cali nice during this visit. We were more than happy to sit outside.
