Very nice place, good service. I have been here multiple times for lunch.
My food was great, French toast and it comes with a little bowl of berries.
My only complaint this time was that they must have changed the brand of coffee cause it was awful, almost tasted sour.
Great central CDM spot the food is always very fresh and great people watching. Be back soon & often!
We met with our family in Newport Beach at the Zinc cafe. My son and I both ordered the fish tacos, my wife had a Marguerita pizza, and my son’s wife had a vegetarian platter. The grandkids all had kids meal at $10 each. They do serve beer and wine, but we stuck with soft drinks since we had a lot of driving to do. The food was all excellent. No complaints at all.

Based on reviews, Zinc Café & Bar has an awesome staff, including managers, who are pleasant and provide great service. The food is amazing, with specific mentions of the ruben sandwich, salmon bagel, fish tacos, burger, and gruyere omelette. The beverage menu is excellent, featuring matcha and mochas sweetened with agave. The atmosphere is bright, airy, welcoming, and cute, with comfortable seating. However, the restaurant has a new menu and no longer has the old recipes or many vegetarian items. The location on East Coast Highway has a horrible sewer smell in the restrooms, which is a problem for dining in. It is close to the street with some traffic noise, but it was not bothersome.
