We recently catered sandwich platters for a club meeting and they were delicious! Service was quick and easy, pick up was a breeze, and extra points for the pickles and lollies! Already looking forward to coming back to try something new.
best sandwiches I've ever had. period.
Great corned beef sandwiches!

Gary's New York Deli is an amazing sandwich spot in Newport, perfect for a quick meal before hitting the beach. With friendly service and incredible sandwiches like corned beef, pastrami, tuna, and hoagies, it's a must-visit. The triple decker #1 is a popular choice, made with fresh ingredients and served with homemade potato or Mac salad. The NY Special with brisket is a must-try for sandwich lovers. The outdoor garden seating is a lush and dog-friendly spot to enjoy your meal. The back patio and the rest of the restaurant are very clean and well kept. This deli has a welcoming atmosphere, making it feel like part of the community. The owner is accommodating and attentive to questions, adding to the friendly vibe. Whether before or after the beach, Gary's is the go-to spot for delicious sandwiches and great service. They also offer knishes, latkes, matzoh ball soup, and breakfast burritos, making it a local favorite for many. The breakfast burritos and bagels with lox are particularly popular. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food, including the onion rings and cookies, is excellent. If in any beach city from San Clemente to Newport Beach, this place is worth a try.
