“Just stopped for our second time because this place is the bomb for Gelato !!! Visiting from out of town and love gelato so we tried it out. Not disappointed at all !!! They also just opened location on Balboa Island…..so don’t waste your time on the overhyped Balboa Bars or frozen bananas, because this Gelato blows them out of the water. Met the owner and he’s very passionate about his product !!!“

“Tried this pizza spot with my family last weekend and it ended up being a really good choice. The pizza came out hot with plenty of toppings and a nice crispy crust. I ordered a pepperoni pie while my wife got a veggie pizza, and both were fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly and checked on us a couple times without being pushy. It did take a few extra minutes for our order to arrive, but honestly it was worth the wait. The place had a relaxed atmosphere and felt welcoming. I'd definitely come back again when I'm craving pizza.“

“We've enjoyed many meals over the last year and always happily return for more. The venue is gorgeous of course and it's difficult to leave roaming the beautiful nursery & craft store area to get to your reservation so give yourself plenty of time during your visit for shopping. The capable service staff is eager to please and every dish is thoughtfully prepared/presented. A couple of our favorite dishes are: the Asian beef short ribs & the Pomegranate & balsamic glazed salmon salad which are reasonably priced and delicious. A bonus for us as Guide Dog puppy raisers is they're dog friendly.“

“Pizza is absolutely amazing , went 2 days in a row after a friend recommended. Friends and I got a 1/2 cheese,1/2 pepperoni large and it may be the best pizza I’ve ever had I had 4 slices. And these are very large slices . I was so Surprised by the flavor and richness in the sauce and well cooked NY style thin crust. It was an A+++ for myself and everyone that shared All around amazing pizza . Thank you, a must try ……“

“The summer house is a general go to for American food. The prices are on the high side for the food you get. We generally go here for a quick meal. The server we got tonight is little hard on hospitality and same experience we had before from him. I think he has been there a while and regulars get better service and not so short with service at there tables from.what we noticed.“

“The food was excellent - I had a fillet mignon and my companion had the halibut. Our server was attentive, but not overly so. We sat on the patio and it was pretty loud and boisterous. I will request the dining room for our next experience at the Bungalow. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant - thank you!“

“Staff were friendly. The veggie burger and potato salad (or option of potato chips) were good even though the cost was a bit high for what you received. We noticed there was only one person at the cashier taking orders and might not have had time to clean outdoor tables as needed. However, we plan to eat there again in the future. They even serve alcoholic beverages in case you like that option.“

“Wow I felt so good after walking out of there honestly I was not expecting that at all. The smoothie was super fresh and flavorful, you could really taste the real fruit and it wasnt too sweet or thick it was just right. They even had a little warm rice bowl that was basically comfort food for lunch and i’m honestly still thinking about it the next day. Definitely gonna make this a regular stop when i’m in town.“

“Very nice place, good service. I have been here multiple times for lunch. My food was great, French toast and it comes with a little bowl of berries. My only complaint this time was that they must have changed the brand of coffee cause it was awful, almost tasted sour.“
