“this is a bizarre jersey mikes location, at least to me. The food is always solid and the people working are mellow, but the way it's run is confusing. They write down the order after taking it, only to make the sandwich like 10 seconds later. Usually takes much longer than other jmikes to get the food, everyone working there seems to be on a different system. They have a whole second area to make online orders but every time I've been they just use the normal side which backs everything up. They always forget any sides for online orders so whenever I get pickup I just do straight sandwiches. It's not the employees fault they just need a better manager/owner clearly.“

Just wanted to eat something simple and there weren't a lot of items on their menu that really called to me. So I decided to go for their bruschetta board because there were a lot of good choices, very unique actually. Everyone also had their own flight of bruschetta and I was so happy i came here. The food here was actually really good and would definitely come back again. I also loved the fact that they pre-cut the bread and it was so easy to eat. I loved everything and finished my board!“

Only one gender nurtural bathroom so at times there was a long line . Our server seemed to give decent service to everyone but our table , she gave every other table touches and only checked in once after we had already finished our food . We felt very rushed. “The owners at Van Dyke are so friendly. I visited at the recommendation of a friend. It's located in a business complex, and parking is paid, but they validate. Some of the drinks are named after their regulars, which is what we ordered. I love strawberry-chocolate anything, so Spencer's was right up my alley. Inki's was really good too. There's so much room for seating, and I love the ambiance--it's so open. It was great to stay and study. We also were given a cookie on the house, which was enormous and took me days to eat (but it stayed perfectly good). We will be back!!“

“What a wonderful surprise stopping by here after the gym thinking I was going to get different options of Gyro and Rice and there were so many offerings that were very healthy and appetizing. “Ellie's Table is a great little spot if you want a nice little brunch/lunch/snack/pastry or coffee with a quaint cafe vibe. We love Ellie's whenever we come to the OC. We used to go to the San Clemente location before it closed. This was our first time at this location. Food: 5/5 We ordered a variety of things here and each item was wonderful. I ordered the brunch burger. It was cooked to perfection and practically melted in my mouth with each bite. We also got some pastries and the lucky charms cappuccino. Everything we got was wonderful. Atmosphere: 5/5 This place has a very nice little cafe vibe. There is some seating indoors, a cool little private area upstairs and some nice seating outside lining the building. It's a nice place to hangout and visit with friends or loved ones while enjoying some food and coffee in a relaxed environment. Customer Service: 4/5 One of the employees seemed a little irritated that she was there while she rang us up. But, overall the service was ok. She was young, so I doubt that it is like this with all the employees all the time. Price: 5/5 The prices here are great for what you get. I got a massive burger with a sunny side egg for only $14. The nice palm sandwiches are only $3.50! They have items for if you want a full meal or just a little snack. They are all priced very well in my opinion. Parking: 3/5 There is a tiny parking lot behind the building. If you can't park there, you are looking for street parking or parking in another lot in the Downtown San Juan Capistrano area. “This is a great local ice cream spot! They had many (at least 20) different ice cream flavors. After being informed their most popular flavors are something with Oreo, I ordered the Coffee Oreo and Birthday Cake ice creams (I ordered both in a small cup). No wonder Oreo is the most popular as both flavors were full of large Oreo chunks. The ice cream was flavorful and had a great coffee and cake flavor. Note they do not offer samples, but from what I saw, I’m not sure you could go wrong!“

“We had a great time here for St. Patrick's Day. We were excited to try some of the food. However, after paying a cover charge to enter, we were told that we couldn't order the food we wanted. The bar was busy, so we were patient with service, but there we two bartenders who easily handled the crowds and two who were super stressed and somewhat rude. The rest of the staff was good. They had live music and it was a fun atmosphere.“

It's not refined or snoody, it's just damn good.They season their chips. The lowly give-away that most places serve stale as low-cost hunger appeasement filler, is done fresh and treated with care. Putting forth effort into making the most basic parts of the menu delicious means they really want everything they put out to be delicious. The thought and care behind the quality of their items is often sought but rarely found. Also, the salsa with their chips is really bomb.You can't go wrong with the BBQ short rib sandwich, chowder fries, or fresh ceviche.“

They’re delicious and they rotate the selection constantly which makes it fun. Their pasta is made in house, so we love going for dinner as well. I’ve tried several of the pasta dishes and I’ve never been disappointed. I could ramble on forever. Just make reservations (you have to call at least 24 hours in advance) and leave a little extra time to park. The lot in the back is small and if you can’t find a spot there, you’ll need to street park.“

The fries are nice and crispy, well seasoned, and fresh. The 2 pieces of fish were nice and meaty and well battered, not over saturated and overtly crispy. The tartar sauce was probably the best I've had. I also tried the onion rings, and there pretty pretty good and crispy.I did come back later to try the shrimp po boy and fish po boy sandwich. It's the best po boy sandwich I've had. The bread was incredibly soft and delicious. The shrimp was pretty big and nicely battered. And the tartar sauce spread was just amazing.I did order in person, and the staff was very friendly.I wish this place was in a different location. The parking situation in this Plaza is just horrendous. So few parking with so many restaurants. This restaurant deserves a better place.“
