My grass-fed steak was tender and juicy, the mac n cheese was comforting and delicious, and the side of beets paired well with the goat cheese. My husband enjoyed his crispy chicken sandwich and fries. I love the variety of food offered at Urban Plates and knowing my body is getting high quality nutrients while enjoying something delicious!

“You can tell that the owner puts a lot of love and attention to his creations. I had the strawberry croissant today and oh my God it was the greatest thing I've ever had. I usually have the avocado toast with the smoked salmon on top and it's to die for. this morning I tried the Maki out over the first time and I am obsessed. The owner told me that he spends the spices on his own. everyone who bakes, there and works there really puts a lot of heart into this. and the owner is super sweet too!“

“I used to live in the area and happened to find this gem of a restaurant when visiting. The food is excellent and affordable. I had the shrimp dish with rice and paneer garlic bread. It was spiced and seasoned perfectly. I want to add that the chef and staff are amazing. It was well worth the discovery!“

“Rarely do I find a restaurant where I want to try everything on the menu!! My friends and I had lunch here a few weeks ago; a few had been there before and they loved it. I was excited to try it. I ordered the Roasted Cauliflower and Chickpeas Bowl with added protein of grilled shrimp. It was absolutely delicious and so fresh…the shrimp was done perfectly. We also shared the cauliflower and dates appetizer. I was a little skeptical at first about the interesting combination, but they were fantastic…and addicting! I liked the overall atmosphere of the restaurant and the service was excellent too. My husband and I will be dining there tonight, and he is excited because there are several GF items he can try. I highly recommend this restaurant for their fresh and delicious foods!“

“Don’t sleep on El Saborcito! I didn’t have what was here before but this new restaurant is a gem in the making. The people are great and kind, but the food is amazing. I wouldn’t even bother with the breakfast burrito, which was really really good, and just order the chilaquiles. We got a sample of the chips with refried beans, cheese, and salsa and now I regret not getting the chilaquiles, which were so delicious and clearly made with heart. Also the aqua de jamaica and horchata are homemade and so delicious. Strongly recommend stopping by, you will not regret it.“

Large enough menu for both lunch and breakfast and they have rotating daily specials. They will be happy to make you a lunch time sandwich even at 8am.Can’t compliment this place enough. “Craving some udon while we were passing through the area so we decided to stop here for a quick early dinner on a weekend. It was quiet and service was quick.

Set up like a Chipotle and Subway. You order your main dish and you move along to customize it by adding tempuras (extra fee), vegetables (extra fee), green onions, or tempura flakes.

The udon soup base and noodles was good. The tempura batter on my shrimp tempuras was too thick and not light and flaky. I wanted to add vegetables to my udon and wish they were cooked first or cooked with my soup. Dumping uncooked vegetables into my soup just cooled everything down right away.

There was a lot of seating inside and on their large outdoor patio. The place was very clean.“
