Had a lot of California Burritos in my day and this one topped them all.
Don’t sleep on El Saborcito! I didn’t have what was here before but this new restaurant is a gem in the making. The people are great and kind, but the food is amazing. I wouldn’t even bother with the breakfast burrito, which was really really good, and just order the chilaquiles. We got a sample of the chips with refried beans, cheese, and salsa and now I regret not getting the chilaquiles, which were so delicious and clearly made with heart. This has got to be the best Mexican Restaurant I have been to in a long time! Friendly and welcoming people and 5h3 food is fabulous! It's connected to the Shell station so very unassuming. You'd think it's just another fast food Mexican restaurant but this place should be located where you would go for fine dining.

El Saborcito Mexican Grill is a new addition to the neighborhood, located next to the Shell station and a couple doors down from Dairy Queen. The restaurant serves authentic Mexican food with fresh ingredients and a really extensive menu, including breakfast all day. Reviewers highlight the beef taco and cheese enchilada plate, the Horchata, the Salas, the carnitas plate, the breakfast burrito, the chilaquiles, the aqua de jamaica, and the chips with salsa, refried beans, and cheese. The carnitas was excellent and perfectly cooked, and the chilaquiles were so delicious and clearly made with heart. Portions are huge and filling, and prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion. The service is great and super friendly, and the people are great and kind. They treat customers very well and check if customers are good or needed anything. The food is fresh, flavorful, HOMEMADE, and very tasty. This place is a gem in the making and has got to be the best Mexican Restaurant in a long time. It is very unassuming but should be located where you would go for fine dining. Go check it out and support small businesses doing such a great job.
