My favorite was the honeycomb, which was perfectly sweet and unique. It paired very nicely with the strawberry option. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and patient as my two kids tried multiple flavors before deciding. The shop has a charming, relaxed vibe. Perfect spot for a treat by the coast. Highly recommend and will definitely visit the next time I am in the area.“

And like, good attitudes. I swear that does not exist in your normal ice cream/fast service type places these days. It might be “expensive” but I would gladly pay double what they charge just to have their good ice cream, served by the people they have working there that actually acknowledge you and are generally pleasant. But make no mistake, you need to add an extra mile to that run in the morning to make up for this sweet treat haha“

Absolutely delicious and the perfect Fun Zone stop!

Just had the mint chocolate chip and it was fantastic—super creamy with great flavor and nice chocolate chunks throughout. The shop itself is a really cool, vibrant spot right in the heart of Balboa Fun Zone. Friendly service, fresh treats, and exactly what you want after walking around the pier, riding the Ferris wheel, or hitting the arcade.

Cowafornia is now my go-to ice cream spot in Newport Beach. Highly recommend!“
