“Their ice cream is delicious the reason why I only put four stars instead of 5 is because if you want a pint of a specific kind and they don't have it they will offer to scoop out a pint for you. But they don't pack it down so realistically you're only getting 1/3 of a pint but paying for a full. 😑“

“This is a good place to get an acaí bowl, this location has plenty of flavors you can get as a base. Not only do they have acaí, they also have mango, and coconut.
If you like Mexican flavors they also make a mangonada, for that sweet and spicy combo.
They also have some good toppings to choose from. Would highly recommend this spot if you are in the area.“

My favorite was the honeycomb, which was perfectly sweet and unique. It paired very nicely with the strawberry option. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and patient as my two kids tried multiple flavors before deciding. The shop has a charming, relaxed vibe. Perfect spot for a treat by the coast. Highly recommend and will definitely visit the next time I am in the area.“

“Today was our 3rd time at the original rainbow cone in Cypress. I wish I had gotten the name of the employee (maybe manager?) that we interacted with today because she absolutely made our day. I ordered online and sent my two kids in to pick up (mind you they are 8 and 5, but we are practicing being independent and they love doing this) our order. They came back out with 2/3 things we ordered and then the woman hand delivered my milkshake to my car for me. A small gesture that went a long way for a mama who had a sleeping newborn in the car. So glad we recently found this place. The treats are delicious and employees so kind.“

“The handmade ice cream here is so delicious! My favorite one was the Coffee & Love Nut! You can really taste the cold brew and the nut clusters add that crunch that I love so much! I also tried the salt, malted, caramel cookie dough chocolate chip and while the flavor was great, it wasn't my favorite. My husband tried the Honey Lavander and he rates it an 8.5/10. He also had the captain berried treasure and rates that one an 8/10. It was very good, definitely reminded me of the captain crunch cereal! Overall, highly recommend you get a scoop! We paid $12.50 per cone for a double scoop. Don't be afraid of the line, it moves quickly.“

Also got their durian ice cream and omg it tastes like real durian, not the chemical taste. The male staff is friendly and takes his time to explain the products and offers ice cream samples. “I went in with my cousin on a hot Thursday around 4pm to get some sweet treats to cool us down! The place was clean and had a pretty mural going around the whole wall! The menu was straight to the point and everything looked delicious. The worker who helped us out that day was Daniela and she was the best! She was very helpful in every way and I loved her energy, it made me want to be her friend!

The ice cream is a little on the pricier side but it's fun to watch them make the ice cream right in front of you! We got 2 ice cream's their mini dubai chocolate pancakes and a nutella crepe. If you have a sweet tooth, you should for sure check this place out!

Parking is shared in a plaza with other food spots and I heard that it gets busy around the afternoon, thankfully we found a parking spot right away!

The quality of the ice cream was definitely good and it was creamy and surprisingly not overly sweet! They also do not have a public restroom!

But whenever I have a sweet tooth or need a cold treat, I can rely on this establishment's classic and unique offerings. They are known for the many sundaes, shakes, hot cocoa, chocolate treats, gifts, coffee, and more!

My recent visits have been for the seasonal sundaes, like the Magical Hot Fudge Sundae with Mickey ear waffle cookies dipped in chocolate. I've also enjoyed the coffee drinks and shakes.

The staff have been kind and make your orders with care and promptness. There are plenty of tables and seating around San Fransokyo Square. If you are a Magic Key holder, enjoy using your discount here.

“Busters Real ice cream is as advertised. Its real ice cream. Unfortunately it was a real disappointment for everyone in the family. Maybe we are too used to excess sugar in other ice cream brands. Its price was reasonable for what you get. The ice cream selection was not as wide a variety as other places one may choose. For my family, there was a cloud of disappointment as the ice cream was not as sweet as we all desired after a long bike ride at the beach. We will not be back anytime soon. I am giving 4 stars because they are reasonably priced and prompt to complete the orders. I also believe there are people out there that desire less sugar in their ice cream. This place is perfect for those people.“

Just had the mint chocolate chip and it was fantastic—super creamy with great flavor and nice chocolate chunks throughout. The shop itself is a really cool, vibrant spot right in the heart of Balboa Fun Zone. Friendly service, fresh treats, and exactly what you want after walking around the pier, riding the Ferris wheel, or hitting the arcade.

Cowafornia is now my go-to ice cream spot in Newport Beach. Highly recommend!“

“This was the most delicious mangonada I've had in my life along with customer service that felt like true hospitality!!! I got it with maracuya and mango ice cream topped with cucumbers, mango, and the guy that made it gave me strawberries on the side. This is a really clean liquor store with a paleteria/ice cream counter. There’s no seating but Mark (the guy that works here) gave me his office chair and I just sat in the corner and enjoyed my treat. It melted a bit and he also gave me hand sanitizer and paper towels. I love this man and I loved my mangonada.“
