“Been in and out this area over 20 years and I feel sooo dumb🤣 I've been running to Hawthorne ca on Hawthorne Blvd just to purchase banana wrapped tamales and Martha's bakery is sitting right next to the best pizza spot around except for Johnny Blaze pizza. Before you open the door your senses and taste buds start activation of I'm here🤣🤣🤣let's go. The tamales are outstanding beautifully prepared and today I'm going after the bread and of course more tamales 😁“

“We love the ice cream here! The workers are incredibly sweet and keep the line moving fast, no matter how busy it gets. That said, the lack of restrooms is a huge drawback. Their website does say to 'plan ahead,' but as any parent of young kids knows, that's easier said than done! We've actually had two bathroom accidents at RC now, which really makes us second-guess visiting. Since it's such a popular seasonal spot, I wouldn't think it'd be too hard to at least provide a porta-potty. It would make a world of difference for families in a pinch.“

“If you are looking for a sign to treat yourself to some ice cream, this is it! I stopped by on Tuesday, June 30, after a brutally long, utterly exhausting work weekend and workday. Now, I am someone who constantly watches my sugar intake, so walking into a Salt & Straw has to be a very intentional decision for me. I was basically running on fumes and a dream, ready to make my cheat day count. That is when Joleena stepped in and saved the day.

Some people just scoop ice cream, but Joleena delivers straight-up joy. Her ability to connect with me went so far, and she completely turned my exhausting day around. We ended up having the best conversation talking about the Philippines, swapping stories, and she even gave me the inside scoop on her personal favorite flavor from the current series. The nostalgic atmosphere takes you back in time, and the friendly service makes you feel right at home.

“this is the best shaved ice i’ve ever had. The shaved ice literally melts into your mouth and the moment me and my cousins tasted it, we devoured it in less than 10 minutes. The watermelon was so flavorful and i’m definitely gonna go here again.“

The ice cream is a little on the pricier side but it's fun to watch them make the ice cream right in front of you! We got 2 ice cream's their mini dubai chocolate pancakes and a nutella crepe. If you have a sweet tooth, you should for sure check this place out!

Parking is shared in a plaza with other food spots and I heard that it gets busy around the afternoon, thankfully we found a parking spot right away!

The quality of the ice cream was definitely good and it was creamy and surprisingly not overly sweet! They also do not have a public restroom!

“We all scream for ice cream!! What's not to love about Ghirardelli ice cream at Disney's California Adventure? Well, except for the price. But whenever I have a sweet tooth or need a cold treat, I can rely on this establishment's classic and unique offerings. They are known for the many sundaes, shakes, hot cocoa, chocolate treats, gifts, coffee, and more!

My recent visits have been for the seasonal sundaes, like the Magical Hot Fudge Sundae with Mickey ear waffle cookies dipped in chocolate. I've also enjoyed the coffee drinks and shakes.

The staff have been kind and make your orders with care and promptness. There are plenty of tables and seating around San Fransokyo Square. If you are a Magic Key holder, enjoy using your discount here.

Tl;dr: ice cream taste 5/5 service 5/5

While the ice cream was delicious we had a major service issue during our visit. We asked for 2 small cones different flavors but were given 2 cones with the 2 flavors mixed in the each cone. When we were given the first cone with tried to clarify that the flavors were supposed to be separate but the second cone came out the same as the first. Our next issue was that we asked for a large bowl but were given a small cone for the 3rd ice cream; we weren't given a receipt to see if we were charged for a large bowl or a small cone. Last issue was we ordered ice cream sandwiches to take home & instead of being told we could select what flavor we wanted we were given a random assortment of flavors. As a side note the ice cream sandwiches are smaller than you would think.“

“Stopped in with my boys and though we generally have good customer service at most Cold Stones with a couple of exceptions a while back at the Garden Grove location on Chapman, Stephanie provided outstanding customer service from the minute we walked in until the minute we walked out. “Busters Real ice cream is as advertised. Its real ice cream. Unfortunately it was a real disappointment for everyone in the family. Maybe we are too used to excess sugar in other ice cream brands. Its price was reasonable for what you get. The ice cream selection was not as wide a variety as other places one may choose. For my family, there was a cloud of disappointment as the ice cream was not as sweet as we all desired after a long bike ride at the beach. We will not be back anytime soon. I am giving 4 stars because they are reasonably priced and prompt to complete the orders. I also believe there are people out there that desire less sugar in their ice cream. This place is perfect for those people.“

“This was the most delicious mangonada I've had in my life along with customer service that felt like true hospitality!!! I got it with maracuya and mango ice cream topped with cucumbers, mango, and the guy that made it gave me strawberries on the side. This is a really clean liquor store with a paleteria/ice cream counter. There’s no seating but Mark (the guy that works here) gave me his office chair and I just sat in the corner and enjoyed my treat. It melted a bit and he also gave me hand sanitizer and paper towels. I love this man and I loved my mangonada.“
