I used to go the the Yorktown & brookhurst BR, now I'm a customer at this location because of the service and the proper amount of ice cream serving you get. They are fast, yet attentive. They don't rush your order or ice cream experience. The lady in charge reminds me of the old school ice cream B&R. She makes you feel welcome and gives you a big scoop.
