“We had an incredible experience at the Newport Beach, California location of Salt and straw ice cream. We heard it was amazing and we were not disappointed! Adel, our server, was off the charts. Friendly, fun and knowledgeable about every ice cream flavor. For me personally, the milk tea with white chocolate crunch was out of this world. In fact, it’s so good, that we’re gonna go back again tonight and have a double scoop. I’m addicted! This place is incredible. You will not be disappointed.“

Absolutely delicious and the perfect Fun Zone stop!
Just had the mint chocolate chip and it was fantastic—super creamy with great flavor and nice chocolate chunks throughout. The shop itself is a really cool, vibrant spot right in the heart of Balboa Fun Zone. Friendly service, fresh treats, and exactly what you want after walking around the pier, riding the Ferris wheel, or hitting the arcade.
Cowafornia is now my go-to ice cream spot in Newport Beach. Highly recommend!“

“The best Cold Stone location that I have been to! The staff is so patient and willing to accommodate to my gluten-free allergy. The girl, Martha, went above and beyond by making my ice cream in the back to prevent contaminants. 10/10 would go back again!“

“Waaaaaay BETTER than Sugar and Spice! Too Sweet / Tutti Fruity uses real chocolate as opposed to Sugar and spices non dairy milk chocolate? We drove 40 minutes and made the mistake of getting our frozen bananas at sugar n spice but were disappointed in their milk chocolate. Super thin and no chocolate taste.
Stopped in at Tutti Fruity / Too Sweet to see what their chocolate covered frozen bananas were and HANDS DOWN! AMAZING! Thicker chocolate and the chocolate actually tastes like delicious chocolate!
Next time… Too Sweet for frozen bananas for us!!“

“Was by the beach this day and decided to go into Balboa. There are a few frozen banana places in Balboa but this place caught my eye because they also sold hippo cookies (I bought one is not pictured).
The chocolate bananas are great for a hot day. They have a lot of fun coatings you can do. We did the Oreo and the everything coating. The hippo cookie was also very good. Definitely would come again.“

“1. The matcha was delicious and well-crafted! The carrot cake was more moist than I thought!
2. The spot has chill casual vibes! The area is nicely kept!
3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! It was ready after 5 mins!

“We loved Newport Coffee Co.! My 14-year-old daughter and I ended up going every day - it quickly became our favorite spot.
Great coffee for me and amazing açaí bowls for her. The staff is super friendly, the vibe is fun and welcoming (and pet-friendly), and prices are very reasonable.
If you’re in Newport Beach, definitely check it out, we’ll be back for sure!“
