It was late in the day but Allie was so gracious and accommodating, went next day to the post office and had it shipped. I prefer it to be stronger and a darker green. The same thing for the espresso. The espresso is not as dark and rich in flavor as we ideally like it to be. “I had just landed at SNA and looked up nearby coffee shops before I headed into the office. I actually found the one by the Google office but was turned off by having to park in the structure. I turned back toward the airport and redirected myself to The Lost Bean, which was 2nd on my search list. I found The Lost Bean off the beaten path and tucked behind a few apartment buildings. What an adorable outdoor coffee shop! It did have covering, but I liked that it was open to the elements. I arrived at the shop around 8am on a Tuesday morning. There was a customer picking up his order when I got there, and then there was a customer who came shortly after I had placed my order. That being said, I felt it wasn't that busy, but there was a steady stream of customers who kept the solo barista busy. The barista was very friendly and he made a solid latte for me. Sometimes all it takes for the start of a great day are a warm greeting and a well-made latte with quality coffee. I'll definitely back again. Though I didn't get fancy with my latte, their specialty lattes looked tasty. They also had a good selection of pastries and baked goods.“
“Absolutely love this place, been coming here ever since college when I was done checking out the bars and places around Balboa/Newport. And now even though I don't drink, I really appreciate a 24/7 joint that is extremely consistent with their product and always a great price. There certainly are other 24/7 places near me, but I feel Seaside has such a good turnover on goods that they never have stale items to sell. Other donut shops sometimes carry items that seem that they have been sitting out too long, and so I really love the freshness (or perceived freshness?) that Seaside has to offer. The associates are always super friendly and usually tell me good morning when it is like 3-4 AM, and the store is cluttered but quite clean. Around 3 AM seems to be when they are wiping down the racks and behind the glass display, but it also showed that they were restocking the racks with fresh donuts! So it has been awesome to visit this spot during the late nights / early mornings, and I definitely do not mind continue to support this small business.“

It's off the beaten path of the main section of Newport Beach, so you may have been missing it all this time unless you frequent the neighborhood. So we stopped in for lunch and ordered the Chicken Pesto Sandwich and the Sunrise Breakfast Sandwich off the breakfast menu, which is served all day! I thought it was just going to be a regular avocado toast, maybe some feta, a little balsamic, but this one had arugula, radish, onions and spices covered everywhere. Coffee was great too, got the Madagascar Vanilla Latte and the taste was really nice, one of my favs from the OC. Lastly the ambience is sick. Large chose of toppings and good selection of pure proteins. No premixed here. I love choosing my level of heat to my bowl and how it's tossed with the proteins. I recently watched a new employee learn the placement of the toppings. Who knew there was a system to adding your favorite toppings to your poke bowl? It's this kind of detail and care that I highly recommend OC Poke. Ps while they never brought back the inside seating after Covid, there are tables outside that share a lovely courtyard area.“

It seemed like they were a little understaffed at the time I visited, there was a "stressed" vibe in the air.The interior is functional, it reminds me of chain bakeries in Europe. “It’s Newport beach, so naturally, it’s a little on the pricey side, but not unreasonable. I went straight fatty today and got a medium Americano, a European bagel, and a flourless chocolate cake, which all totaled up to a little over $22 before I tipped. The pickle is huge, so I only had half of that. I did somehow managed to put away every single crumb from that cake, though.? I was a little surprised at how many people were there on a Wednesday morning, but the service was fast. They have a nice outdoor patio dining area, as well as an interesting inside area. We are camping over at Newport Dunes, so this place is just a quick trip from here, but a nice change.“

I was shopping for an Instacart customer who requested a bottle of wine I was not familiar with and unable to fine but Karen ran over to the aisle got it for me. Then when my app glitched she kept me calm and helped me move all the groceries out of the way so I could call customer support. Unfortunately Instacart was not able to solve the issue and I had to have them take every thing back. I was super embarrassed and wanted to help but Niles assured me it was no problem.
