“The owners at Van Dyke are so friendly. I visited at the recommendation of a friend. It's located in a business complex, and parking is paid, but they validate. Some of the drinks are named after their regulars, which is what we ordered. I love strawberry-chocolate anything, so Spencer's was right up my alley. Inki's was really good too. There's so much room for seating, and I love the ambiance--it's so open. It was great to stay and study. We also were given a cookie on the house, which was enormous and took me days to eat (but it stayed perfectly good). We will be back!!“

“My husband got the iced salted cream cold brew and I go the iced Lavendar vanilla latte. Both were so delicious! My husband got the Eggs Heidelberg and wouldn't get it again. The flavors didn't work for him. I got the Almond French Toast and I was in heaven!!! Their avocado turkey sando, katsu sando and niku pan are really good options for a quick lunch. They also have very scrumptious cakes by the slice here. “I stumbled upon this modern looking coffee spot hidden away in a plaza, and it was an awesome find! The pastries immediately caught my eye, each one looking extremely vibrant and rich. I got an iced chai, which was rich with a complex blend of spices. I feel like chais at other coffee shops are pretty plain when it comes to the blend of spices, but that is definitely not the case with this place. One thing that really stood out is how each drink was carefully handcrafted with attention to detail. Angel who was working at that time looked like a true artisan with how meticulous he was with every detail. The only slight letdown was the honey used as the sweetener. It wasn't quite to my taste, but that's more about personal preference than it is quality. I'll be back to try their golden ratio which is a turmeric latte and some of those irresistible looking pastries.“

“I found Moonwood Coffee in the same shopping center of a coin shop that is awesome to visit. I ended up wanting a treat and some coffee, so I walked over. The storefront has a bit of an awkward entrance away from the other business doors...but keep walking to find it because this spot is totally amazing! I ordered a cedar cinnamon iced latte and the espresso was absolutely perfectly paired with the cinnamon and brown sugar flavors. They enhanced each other perfectly and my husband who doesn't even like coffee or espresso very much was also addicted. We tried a cinnamon roll, which had this flaky dough and well balanced frosting that was not overly sweet. I was in love with that. We also tried an almond bear claw, which I thought was just ok but my husband loved it even more than the cinnamon roll. There were tons of other treats here as this is also a bakery and they do catering! I would highly recommended checking it out. The decor was also really cute and service was perfect. Just be aware the shop is small and there is minimal spots to sit and enjoy inside or on the patio, so plan on taking the treats to go ideally!“
“It’s not everyday I completely fall in love with a cafe. But Coffee Whipped is special. They have a modest menu of simple Asian classic paninis, with a Korean Vietnamese ish twist. The word “classic” being the operating word. I’ve tried most of their sandwiches now and each is exceptional. Their coffee is also delicious, silky smooth and rich. It’s hard to describe but this place is just.. comforting. From its Huntington Beach monopoly gift set, to its traditional potato chips, thinly sliced pickles, and adorable community bulletin board, it feels like this cafe is trying to start a movement. “EXCELLENT SERVICE ! My wife and I decided to try this cafe for lunch on Sunday after our walk around a nearby nature reserve. It's situated inside a quaint old world shopping village. We parked our wheels and then walked around the shops looking for this cafe. At around 2pm we found it and went inside. VERY CUTE ! The interior had a nice comforting look with a few Middle Eastern accents and we could see yummy food in the display case...such as Borek. A friendly cashier named Ayla helped me at the cashier desk when I ordered our lunch....2 x Flat Whites with hazelnut syrup ( Torani ), 1 x Turkish Spinach Borek and 1 x Turkish Feta Cheese Borek. There were a number of dessert choices inside the display cabinet but I thought we eat some solid food first and see how we felt. It wasn't real busy when we first arrived but all of a sudden more and more people were dropping in for coffees. Ayla made our Flat Whites and placed them on the service counter for me to collect. QUITE GOOD ! Our flat whites were well made by baristas Ayla.....they had a nice robust flavor ! After a few minutes Ayla had warmed up our Boreks and they were ready to eat. DELICIOUS ! We shared half of each one and both were delicious. DESSERT ! I saw the tray of Baklava on the cashier counter when I ordered...I love it so I ordered one and a Creme Brulee Bar for my wife. My fresh made Baklava tasted fabulous. On the other hand my wife's Creme Brûlée Bar was too firm....it needed to be served at room temperature. Overall we were very happy with our lunch visit here !“

I ordered the Honey Lavender iced latte as I had the same drink a few days before at Starbucks which rated like something crated in a lab (not a good thing) so I was still craving a decent lavender drink and saw The Caffeine Club offered it on their menu. The barista was nice and had my drink made in a short time. I was not disappointed as it was delicious and not overly sweet or flavored. It's surrounded by tall buildings and you will have to park in the parking structure behind them (to which everyone knew except my friend and i). It's a very nice area but I parked in the wrong parking structure by accident and had to pay $7 to get out (I was there for an hour). 1. Thank you berry matcha?: the strawberry oat milk in this is so good this is one of my favorite matchas I've ever had. The oat milk was a standout for me2. Horchata matcha: it tasted like matcha but made with Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk. No complaints3. Smoked avocado toast: avocado toast with a thick layer of crushed bacon the crunch on the bacon was good solid avocado toast4. Lox avocado toast: avocado toast with arugula, pickled onion (standout), red pepper flakes, cucumber, lox. This avocado toast was huge ($18...) but it was very good i really enjoyed this and would recommend !!!!“

But my absolute favorite drink here is the The Nook Way. It's a cold brew with chicory, hazelnut syrup, and oat milk. I feel it's a nailed perfection of flavors.I did try the iced Spanish latte, but it wasn't for me. The cinnamon was too overpowering in the drink that it eclipsed the other flavors. I do believe there's an option to tell them to leave out the cinnamon though.Service is hit or miss in terms of friendliness. I have encountered welcoming and cheery vibes about 50% of the time. I think the gentleman with the baseball cap is usually friendly, as is the other gentleman with longer, slightly wavy hair. But the shop is always lightening fast at making drinks compared to other coffee shops, so I won't nitpick too much on friendly service.Space: it's small, so don't expect to sit here for conversations with friends, or to study. There are some limited seats inside, but it's more for waiting for your order.I am also sad they disabled the ability to do online orders or to call in to place a phone order. I'm guessing the traffic for the small space of their shop could be why they're no longer doing online orders because the online ordered drinks could just overtake the counter space.Parking here can be a pain in the butt, so I've yet to figure out a secret to getting parking. The pasta that I serve at the fine dining steakhouse I work at is soooooooooo gross compared to what you can get here for literally half the cost. I think a Mac n cheese or Rigatoni pasta at SET can run you $35, but here you can get an appetizer and entree for that price. Wow the flavors and quality do not disappoint! It was my second sip of wine where the ambiance finally got me; gives me Godfather vibes. There's low ceiling lights that are broken up by the arms of a the rotating fans. It gives such a mysterious and old school vibe. Id rather eat here, get great service and pay half the cost and go home with a fully belly and a huge smile on my face. “just a passing visitor, I found this coffee shop within walking distance of where I was staying. based on the menu and pricing looked like a good place to get a cup of coffee for a decent price. I arrived in the atmosphere, was very welcoming, and a perfect spot to work remotely. I ordered a 8 ounce cup of black coffee. Their drip coffee is medium roast but one of the blends is lighter than the other and I enjoyed that. I also ordered a eggs Florentine burrito and switched out the spinach for potatoes. Salsa was excellent with the burrito, they offer free Wi-Fi and have outlets to charge your laptop along the walls if you are able to snag a spot. I worked and stayed at Hola Adios, for about 2 1/2 hours and left before they closed. The staff was very welcoming and nice and even gave me a free refill of my coffee before I left, I think that was because they were closing soon. highly recommend this coffee shop for coffee at a great price or alternatively, a nice spot to work remotely from. Grounded is among the best cafes I've been to - clean facility, comfortable lounge or work space, consistently friendly staff who always ask about my day, and a very good selection of coffee and pastries.
