“Had a craving for coffee after walking by the beach so I googled spots nearby. With so many options (never Starbucks) I saw this one had a pretty fair amount of good reviews. It’s pretty small, not a lot of seating, but you’re by the beach so not really a priority.
I took a look at the specialty menu and I have to say, nothing too crazy. I settled in the cherries and cream latte. I didn’t really taste anything special. The coffee itself wasn’t bad, just didn’t stand out“

“Matcha so good and the foam is so creamy to the point I’m getting my own frother at home. I ordered Sakura matcha. It’s the perfect amount of sweetness and with a floral hint. Matcha is definitely ceremonial grade it’s a dark green shade, smooth, and not bitter. Personally I do like a stronger matcha flavor, so to me this is light to medium level of intensity. There is a parking lot but the lots are small and it is pretty packed so FYI.“

Love this place. I walked in for the first time after seeing their name on the marquee of the Rivian. I went in and ordered a Habibi latte. It was delicious way better than I expected. I also ordered the chocolate chip cookie. One of the tastiest cookies I had.

The manager took my order. Christina was very nice and told me about all the events around the area, including that Rivian has a bunch of events for kids and adults.

I hope more people come to this coffee shop. It was really good and the coffee was excellent. 10/10“

“first time. lovely experience. everything was very good, but not extraordinary. the avocado toast was pretty bland, couldn’t taste the avocado or cream cheese. the turkish coffee was a surprise - i don’t usually drink black coffee unless it’s very good coffee, this one i could drink it black. loved the candy that came with the coffee. service was basic, more like neighborhood family restaurant style, and they both were on the quiet side. the decor was nice and chic, not so fancy. the place was clean and quiet. overall, it’s good but on the pricier end.“

“The staff were incredibly patient and accommodating while I placed a large order of 14 drinks (mostly matcha!) for my clinic. I was so impressed with how quickly everything came out — especially for such a big order. They were efficient, organized, and still so friendly the entire time. They also recommended some great drinks to try, which I really appreciated!

“Wall Writers is a hidden gem in Irvine with a modern, cozy vibe and plenty of seating. The menu goes beyond the basics with unique drinks like ube lattes, pandan matcha, and pistachio lattes. It can get busy, but overall it’s a great spot to study, hang out, or grab something different from your usual coffee run“

“One of my favorite coffee shops of the OC area

As soon as I stepped into the cafe, I was met with a high ceiling that was a refreshing break from more of the low ceiling office spaces that I had been studying in. The layout and decor is well put together with the napkins, coffee cup sleeves, and utensils being easily accessible and out of the way from any lines that may form. I’ve also delighted in the presence of board games and enough seating to host these board games! The space is fitting for any who seeks to study with enough accessible outlets within reach wherever you sit. There’s also a maker space area right next door, and in a sense because there is no closed doors between the cafe seating area and the maker space market - it just makes the space feel even more spacious!

I ordered an iced chai latte spiced with nonfat milk. It came out to be $6 for a large cup size. I took one sip and all my worries for the day seemed to have melted away! Praise God! It was incredibly thoughtful to have stickers placed on the drink so that you would know who made your drink. The staff are all kind and hard working - God bless you all.

I want to be back to try the other drinks because it seems like there’s a new seasonal drink incorporating mushrooms, which I have not heard before.

The time here was wonderful.
