“The food and drinks are always fabulous but the service is honestly what keeps me coming back. Literally the best service I’ve had at any restaurant and I go to a lot of high end restaurants. The best part they always remember me but, honestly I think it’s because my very large brown and white standArd poodle who actually sits in the both with me. Either way I love the waitresses there all so sweet and friendly and, I really enjoy the food and drinks. It’s my Tuesday night go to.“

“I have been coming here for 10 years. They treat me like a queen and it is the biggest best fish taco I’ve ever had. I love these people and the owner. I eat here once a week. look at the size of that piece of fish in that taco and they know me well because I don’t get cabbage on my tacos just extra sauce“

The pickled onions... my only comment is that oregano should be an accent to enhance flavor... it shouldn't be oregano juice with pickled onions. less is more. When the herb is overpowering an onion? It's a bit much. It's too much. And make it an OPsandwichtortas or burritos especially when prime cuts are being ordered. That oregano would kill the suave of any meat.. .(PS - i Love Oregano)

Great salsa choices from tart and light to devil's tongue spicy.

The staff are beyond kind, helping with suggestions and are enthusiastic. the atmosphere is great.

Parking: Forget the headache of searching... goto 6th street and goto underground parking.. when you go in, drive straight ahead to the END and park there. Then elevator will pop you ureright next door to the restaurant.“

“I wish I would have got the waitress's name. She was so nice and accommodating to me ,my wife, and our dog. She went above and beyond a couple of times during our lunch. My wife's dish was a little too spicy so we sent it back and they gave us another at no charge(minus the Chipotle sauce). The amazing part Was the sincere kindness of the waitress. Most places make you feel like you're a problem when you send something back. She just wanted to make sure we were happy. Thank you, you are much appreciated. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced.“

Whilst in the heart of Huntingdon Beach which has a large number of holiday-makers this is a genuine locally eatery….we spoke to a number of locals who spoke glowingly of the food. They weren’t wrong!

As a family of 4 we are tacos, an amazing burrito, tostados plus beans and a variety of drinks. Everything was spot on.

This is a family run place and it shows in the pride and friendliness of the service (they will talk you through for options, tailor dishes etc). All at prices that compare favourably to anything else locally,

“Tacos? Yea they are FIRE! A co-worker brought me to this hidden little jem. I usually tend to get nervous getting food from a food truck. Too many bad experiences. But this truck is diff. I ordered 4 tacos. 2 carne asada and 2 lengua. ( I don't care about the lengua haters ? I LOVE lengua! ) Anyways, the tacos were fuego and I went back the next day to get some more. “The food is absolutely delicious! I order her almost every week and get there 15$ 2 beef/chicken enchiladas with double rice instead of the beans. My husband gets the same thing and we love this place so much. Their horchata is also very good without ice. 10/10!

“My husband and I went to Sanchos first ,based on reviews ,I decided not to get anything there since his Quesadilla was not too appealing to me I googled Andys and it was a very good choice!
To pay $6 for a Quesadilla compare to $14 what a steal ! Andys Birria was so flavourful much better than the other places , their meat was bland .
This time my husband admitted that I was right lol
He was mad because I refused to eat at the other place.

“I went here with some coworkers last week. There were 8 of us in total and while this restaurant was on the smaller side in terms of seating the food was definitely worth it. We had several people in the group with dietary restrictions and all those restrictions were accounted and accommodated for. Everyone had a great time and the food was delicious. An emergency unfortunately happened and I had to eat my food several hours later but even then it was so delicious. Personally I think if take out food still tastes good after being reheated in a microwave then it’s a sign of a well prepared meal. I had a street carnitas taco, two hard shell beef tacos, and a chimichanga. Everything was so delicious and very affordable. My whole meal was under $25 and it was incredibly filling and satisfying. I’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and had my fair share of the cuisine and this is definitely a place I would return to!

Today I got the steak fajita and chips and Salsa through grub hub (.I live very close) The portion size of the fajita was very small for the price like the smallest portion i've ever seen for a fajita. Also, the cheese enchilada is like no other!! I have ordered a cheese enchilada at MANY other Mexican restaurants and they just don't have that quality, mouth feel, or flavor. “There's a reason this place has been here as long as I can remember (40+ years) while many many other Mexican food joints have come and gone !!! The food is awesome, fairly decent prices, carne asada and ground beef is great, my favorite is chorizo and egg breakfast burrito with substituting the beans for rice and adding potatoes and cheese?(served all day) and the employees are pretty cool and personable. “Cafe Rio has some of the tastiest tacos. If you haven't tried them, you should. I like the sweet pork and shredded chicken. If you go on Tuesday they have a great taco Tuesday special. The price has gone up with inflation but they're still a good deal The Wednesday tostada salad special is a great deal as well.

It was REALLY, REALLY clean, like too clean that it made you think, "what are you hiding?"The service was quick for a to go order. The food was good over all.
