“I was introduced to this place by a friend of mine who originally comes from Missouri. I would have never stopped here otherwise. It’s almost hidden and easy to pass right by. DELICIOUS tacos in a perfect little beach-friendly, local surfer type spot. Tables are literally next to the parking spots, just plopped in the lot. “What a pleasant surprise! We stumbled across this place and decided to give it a shot for breakfast this morning... it instantly became our new favorite breakfast spot in OC. It was THAT good. Like, we're already planning to come try lunch here in a few days. The prices were very fair for the portion sizes (the breakfast burrito was huge!). Of course we had to try a couple of street tacos because my husband and I are kind of on a street taco kick right now, and omg. When I say their carne asada is the BEST we've tried so far - and we've tried LOTS - I am 100% serious, it is so freaking delicious! The al pastor too, soooo good. We can't wait to come back and try more! Also wanted to mention the gentleman at the counter who served us, I didn't catch his name, but he was so welcoming and kind. He might have been the owner, not sure. You HAVE to try Roman's if you're in the area... and even if you're not, it's worth going out of the way for. Amazing experience!“

When I came back to the area and rediscovered this place, I was so grateful to be able to still get great food at a reasonable price. Burritos are tasty and not too heavy. I’ve walked into this spot a few times before, but it was always packed with a long line, so I ended up walking right back out. This time, my wife had the perfect solution, she called in an order for breakfast burrito, and it made everything so much easier.
We placed the order by phone, pulled up, and had an easy pickup with zero waiting around. And let me tell you… these burritos were SO good! 🤤
Hot, cheesy, filling, and packed with flavor. Sometimes the best way to beat the line is to order ahead, and after finally trying these, I’m glad we did.

My wife and I go to dinner a few times a week..Every friday night we go to our local mexican restaurant near home. If this were close to us, this is where we would go every week. The food is great service was awesome, Drinks are good.

Today I got the steak fajita and chips and Salsa through grub hub (.I live very close) The portion size of the fajita was very small for the price like the smallest portion i've ever seen for a fajita. It was also very chewy and not flavorful at all. And surprisingly the chips were stale. I typically wouldn't even waste my time on a review but this was pretty bad.“

“Wahoo's can add 7,000 items to the menu if they want, but the undisputed heavyweight champion of the franchise is still the crispy fish taco. Years ago it was flounder (I think), now it's pollock, but whatever fish is volunteering for the cause these days, it's still carrying the entire operation on its back.

I ordered two tacos and a fish/beef bowl. The tacos? Good. Dependably good. The kind of good that reminds you why you walked through the door in the first place.

The bowl was a tale of two proteins. The fish was okay—perfectly edible, no complaints. The beef, however, tasted like it may have been sourced from the final resting place of a retired baseball glove. Was it beef? Was it sporting equipment? Science may never know.

Service was very good—friendly, fast, and the best part of the experience not wrapped in a tortilla.

Total Bill: $43 including tip.

Would I eat here again? If circumstances required it, absolutely. Tacos? Yes. Everything else? Let's not get carried away.“
