“We happened to find this restaurant today. Looked bright and welcoming. Lovely patio, you could sit in sun or shade….we chose shade. Friendly staff, excellent food. The lobster burger was divine and huge! Seriously, we could have shared one and still be stuffed. Definitely have to come back and try other delicious sounding items…like the lobster rolls!“

“Dukes is simply a favorite of ours! Whether on the Islands, or now here in Huntington Beach, it’s a consistently great atmosphere, menu, and quality food and cocktails! “The food and drinks are always fabulous but the service is honestly what keeps me coming back. Literally the best service I’ve had at any restaurant and I go to a lot of high end restaurants. The best part they always remember me but, honestly I think it’s because my very large brown and white standArd poodle who actually sits in the both with me. Either way I love the waitresses there all so sweet and friendly and, I really enjoy the food and drinks. It’s my Tuesday night go to.“

“My wife is from outside of Italy and her brother is one of the top chefs there. We are so picky with authentic Italian food and we were so impressed with the quality and taste of our dinner! “First Timer and we enjoyed it very much. We live in the city but always drove by. We were glad we tried Slice. Very clean granite stove tables, waiter was informative, helpful and great service. Dined in and finished entrees without leaving a crumb. Soup and Veggies are all you can eat. Amount of meat is first ordered. No sticky tables and presentation done well and adds to enjoyment.“

“Tried this place out this past weekend, and it was fantastic! Haven't had Mexican food this good since living in San Diego. When we went on a Saturday at lunch time, my wife and I thought it was closed, there was only one other couple there. We will definitely be back!“

“The grass fed hamburger was amazing. Perfectly cooked and the pickle was excellent. The waffle fries were crispy without being oily. They were seasoned just right. The beet salad was one of the best I have eaten. The only thing that would have made it better for me personally was gorgonzola cheese. Oh, the Mai Tai delivered a nice kick too! We will definitely go back.“

“Their hands down have the best smashburger in town. My business partner and I come in here at least a couple of times a month for their smashburger lunch time deal. The three bartenders that we have dealt with have been all amazing gentlemen and kudos to the chef.“

“Our new favorite bar! (Beer & wine only) We heard about driftwood from several locals and finally stopped in while we waited for a pizza from next door. Tria the bartender was so sweet and KILLING it! The only bartender and the place was very crowded on a Friday afternoon during their awesome happy hour! *2-7 m-f Very friendly crowd. We came back the next day to have our rainy day brightened again by Tria Just go! You can bring food in and there's a mexi cafe as well as pizza in the complex.“

“We took seats at the bar. This place has open door seating , balcony very nice. The salsa came immediately, The bartender is so friendly and has a great voice lol. I ordered the Fred's Margarita and asked for part club soda. The Margarita is strong. This will be a one and done for me. The staff is friendly and they laugh often. The bar atmosphere is good. Not too crowded on a Thur night. The salsa has a great salt/garlic flavor. No heat. It's tasty. While chips are light and salted well. The small crowd was fun. We had a great visit.“

“Surprisingly good coin/dollar-operated diamond pool tables. 4 of them. People seem nice enough and keep to themselves from what I can tell. Staff are friendly and prices are not bad. Place is clean and has decent amount of TVs. Parking is plentiful. I would definitely consider coming to hang out, play pool and watch a football game this fall. Didn't try the food but I'll give it a shot next time.“

I did get to enjoy 3 coors lites before I realized I was being bamboozled/hoodwinked by this pretender I met off line. I just closed out and ghosted but definitely a dope spot. “I recently went to this place because they started playing salsa/bachata on Fridays. I didn't try any food yet but they have pretty reasonable prices on drinks...after all it is a difference to pay $12 for a tall glass of drink than $19 for a half size..:)I'll most likely be back and might try anything from the menu:)“

“Dive bar a stones throw from my house. I feel like everyone who lives in our area goes here. They don't have food, but there's a little Mexican restaurant next door and they will bring the food over, which is super cool! “When we visit the Bolsa Chica area we always stop at this restaurant as their food is delicious and refreshing on a hot Summer day. The food is Hawaiian based so if you are looking for rice, poke, or a fried egg give this place a try you will not be disappointed. A few recommendations are the poke salad bowls, salmon, and the burger they are cooked to perfection. The seafood they use is fresh and they grill it just right with a crispy skin and the inside is soft and not dry. The rice and salads that come with many of the meals are served hot and are mixed well. There are also Hawaiian drinks from lychee to Hawaiian beer - they also sell regular beers and alcoholic drinks on the menu. The wait time for the food is a little long as they make the items right when you order them. None of the items taste like they have been sitting or are warmed up - they assemble each combo plate as they are being ordered. This is a type of restaurant where you order in the window and wait for your order to be called. As for tables it's first come first serve they are scattered throughout both in front of the restaurant and the beach area. They also have live musicians and bands playing on different days and times. If you want to come and listen to the live music you can do that without having to purchase food. You can order drinks from their bar and relax and enjoy the sunset. The only downside is that the prices are a little high especially for some items that are small as in the burger and salads. The total amount for your food is comparable to eating at a restaurant as you could easily spend over 100 for a few plates and drinks. Out of all the restaurants along the beach on PCH I say this is the best one and they have attentive customer service which is always a plus.“

“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Mystic Kava Bar. It has serious hippie vibes: a giant fake metallic tree throughout the bar, funky seating and trippy art/murals. They also bring out your kava in random but cool containers. When I went, the host had a super sweet and very well behaved dog there.The kava itself is instant. You mix it yourself with a tea whisk at your table. It's a bit expensive if you require more but is worth the experience. We typically don't do instant so it's hard to compare. I'd definitely recommend this spot though!When I went, there was no food, so bring a snack!“

“The food here is really just okay. The tapas platter was solid, apart from some very soft and gross olives. But the mains were really lacking. I had a chicken dish and my partner had lamb. Both were underwhelming - lacking seasoning maybe? We didn't finish them. Go to the Black Trumpet instead, and get the veal meatballs. You can only just see the Pacific from most of this place anyhow.“

“Brandon and DeShawn made our experience here so amazing. They were so funny, attentive and accommodating. They are definitely the main reason we are coming back. But I will also say the drinks were incredible and the food was deluxe. The music was an absolute vibe and the decorations are beautiful. So we are definitely going to come here more often!“
