Jon Bon Jovi Opening New Bar in Nashville's Lower Broadway

Legendary rocker Jon Bon Jovi is the latest star to plant his flag on Nashville's famed Lower Broadway, preparing to open JBJ's Nashville this spring. The new 37,000 square foot, five-story bar will be the tallest and second largest by size in the area, according to a release.

With entrances on Broadway and 4th Avenue plus two rooftop decks, JBJ's Nashville aims to fuse Music City's rich history with its bright future. "We're looking forward to having a place in Nashville that we call home," Bon Jovi said. Though best known for hits like "Livin' On A Prayer," his band has longtime Nashville roots, recording several albums there and collaborating with its community of artists and songwriters.

The bar is a joint venture between Bon Jovi and hospitality group Big Plan Holdings, run by Josh and Tara Joseph. "Partnering with Jon was natural for many reasons, and we could not be more excited for Nashville and all its great visitors," the owners said.

JBJ's Nashville promises to be a premier destination for music, dining and entertainment. "Renowned as a singer, songwriter, musician, actor, restaurateur, and philanthropist, Jon has always been drawn to the lyrical tales of Music City," its website reads. "His frequent collaborations with Nashville’s artists, songwriters, and recording studios have fueled his passion for the vibrant musical culture that permeates the streets."

The announcement comes as Bon Jovi is honored as MusiCares’ 2024 Person of the Year and his band's 40th anniversary. JBJ's Nashville will join other celebrity-owned bars like Garth Brooks' Friends in Low Places when it opens this spring, adding to Broadway's fusion of country music history and modern star power.
