“My meals were delicious. They make some of the best Carnitas I've ever had. I decided to try out their Sopes today with carne asada which was great! Very generous portions for their prices. The staff was very welcoming and worked with a sense of urgency. I would highly recommend for anyone that wants great food and service!“

Pollobowl, tacos al carbon, crunchy taco and the charbroiled chicken with rice and beans all hit the spot. Literally nothing was so-so, it was all great tasting. Service was attentive and to make it even better, we used a coupon and saved some bucks. Recommended if you like fresh food that is also nutritious.“

“Pleasantly surprised to have this experience of flavor, ambiance and service. We normally go to Nico’s or Marlena because of its consistency of flavor and location to home. Viaje is the equivalent and then some. The chef is from Mexico City and is the real deal. The food, starting off with the ceviche 9/10, ribeye appetizer 10/10, branzino 10/10 and then the dessert of the tres leches 10/10. Ok, so you don’t quite believe me, well, try 11/10 for the consume broth for the lamb appetizer!! David was our server recommended we just try the broth since we were so full. We were dipping tortilla chips into the broth like little kids it was so good!! It didn’t matter how full be were!

Food all came out timely and together nice and hot. It’s rare to have everything taste that good from start to finish. Price may be an obstacle for most, but doesn’t break the bank like a Michelin Star place. Viaje is one of those restaurants that need to stay on 2nd St…it is the very best on that strip if not all of Long Beach.“

“Service was good food was good. Small place but great will go back. They had a large party and looks like they just started so they offer to give free fruit drinks because the large party was taking their present. Portion was not small but not to little. Come and enjoy.“

“This was our second time visiting Fuego Cravings. It’s such a hidden gem in Whittier and has become one of our favorite places to eat. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The food was so good too! We got an al pastor burrito, birria tacos with consommé, carnitas taco, fish taco and chips, salsa and guacamole.

They also have games to play while you wait. We ended up playing Connect Four! Thanks again for the hospitality and great tasting food. We’ll be back soon!“

“I love Oscars, quality food and ingredients. Oscar is always super friendly and I love seeing his family hanging out. He’s there from early morning until late night and greets everyone with a smile and welcoming attitude. I am from San Diego and this restaurant reminds me of a lot of the Mexican restaurants down south. The food is very authentic and I love their salsa bar! The Cali burrito is delicious. Their breakfast burritos are delicious and affordable.“

“As you walk in birds chirp to welcome you in. I ordered the carne en su jugo, it was delicious. Born in Jalisco, and eating this dish at homemade, it definitely hits home! I also tried the red pork pozole and was ok for my standards,but for my American friend it was a 10. The bigest disappointment was the Tamale de Rajas ( cheese with jalapeño slices) it had no cheese, but had tomato, onion and jalapeño. I would not recommend it. Service was excellent, very clean establishment. Only recommendation is to offer a desert, like churro, flan or arroz con Leche. I would come back, I would like to try the albóndigas next time.“

“This place is SO good! I got the breakfast burrito and added cheese and avocado. Omg it was so big I had it for two meals. It was just as amazing for the second meal. Everyone that worked there was so nice, it had such a great family feel. A few customers came in while I was eating outside, and it was clear they were regulars - as i would be if I lived closer! Also, I dont eat meat and there were plenty of options!

“I have come here multiple times at this point with so many different people and have never been disappointed. My go to is the breakfast burrito. The price is so affordable considering the huge portion sizes. I highly recommend the chorizo, sausage, and bacon burrito. They also have other items like burgers which are also great.“

“Fantastic hidden gem! Located in north long beach, this authentic Mexican restaurant is absolutely delicious. They have plenty of nostalgic dishes that you may remember a loved cooking for you. They have soups, tacos, and special dishes such as costillitas con nopales. I was left very much happily satisfied. Parking is a nightmare, they have a small lot. It is a mom and pop shop, so please keep that in mind when you arrive. Seating is extremely limited, but they have a couple chairs out front to ensure you're taken care of. Please tip if you can as I'm positive a place like this is not common anymore these days. The ladies who serve and take orders have the most cute uniforms and friendliest of service. Anything upon request!!! Please ask before you do. They have a specific seating order and will be happy to accommodate when you ask! Oh they do serve alcohol, beers and margaritas 😬“

The Shrimp A La Diabla was so delicious. It reminds me of the Mexican spaghetti but with a kick of spice and you know how delicious Mexican spaghetti is alone the shrimp just adds extra goodness. Oh my Goodness it was to die for the smoke beef cheek was so flavorful and it just melted in your mouth with the beans, rice, guacamole, oaxacan cheese, and a lot of other good stuff inside a whole lot of deliciousness in one big burrito. The Green salsa is so tasty/savory. They don't have a kids menu so we ordered the pancake plate that included eggs, hash browns and sausage for our toddler. She also loved it!
