“Little house of friends, I came here for lunch and got the breakfast burrito with chorizo, which was delicious beans cheese egg chorizo on a large toasted flour tortilla and a nicely sized portion with corn chips and salsa (choice of ♥ or 💚). The service was prompt, friendly, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who might be hungry and in search of good quality food at a reasonable price 💕“

“If you're looking for fast food Mexican this is the place to go. Their food is authentic it's delicious it's affordable and they're servings are very generous. If you're looking for something a little higher class I would still recommend eating here I've been dozens of sit down Mexican restaurants and this restaurant's got better food than most of the other ones that are twice the price.“

“All the staff was running on all cylinders during lunch hour when I came in. And not only that, but while I was sitting down eating, a staff member came around asking if we needed anything from the tray (salsas, salt, pepper, etc) which I haven’t experienced at any other EPL location. Maybe 5-10 mins later a different employee was picking up trays/cleaning tables and she asked ‘how are your tacos so far’ and since it was my first time trying them and they were actually good, I made sure to tell her.

Those two instances set this location apart from other locations. Will come back if in the area.“

“We had the best experience at Bubu’s restaurant. My husband tried the albondigas (meatballs) in a chipotle sauce. They were delicious and the tasted just like those my Mexican grandma used to cook. Not too spicy, not too watery. Everything else was equally authentic and delicious. The handmade tortillas make the experience unique.
The service was wonderful and we met Jesus, the chef, who takes great pride in his cooking. Worth visiting! Even if the location and humble look of the place are deceiving, it’s worth visiting!“

Desde el primer acercamiento George siempre fue muy amable y comprensivo con lo que esperábamos para nuestra fiesta. “Big fish tacos with cabbage, tomatoes and white sauce! Ceviche had fish, crab, little bit of octopus and large shrimps although a bit pricey. It’s still good on a summer’s day. The fried round tortillas were a bit oily as it soaked all through the paper bag. Combo had rice and beans as well. Parking can take a wait but it’s well organized with a staff person directing the cars. You can wait at the take out shack as an alternative to eating inside the restaurant. There’s already a line at 5 on a weekend afternoon so go early!“

“I finally have a local, good, and cost effective place near my house. So far I’ve had their cheese burger and fish ceviche. The burger was big and juicy. The fries were great. The fish ceviche was spiced so if you don’t like spice like me, ask them to put the vinaigrette on the side and add to your liking. But a good overall place that I recommend. They also do take out and call in for pick up. They do Door Dash and Grub hub too.“

Taquitos de papa were great, esquisitos. Guacamole and salsas were balanced and not too spicy.

“This place used to close super early despite its hours and even calling to see if it would be open but that hasn't happened in a long time... The food here is handmade and feels like it's a lot cleaner and higher quality than your typical taco stand style place. The food is good the customer service is good I have no complaints I'm giving it a five-star review prices are excellent you can ask for more there's nothing fishy about it you need to get out and try something and if a place is good of course they're going to have all good reviews I feel sorry for you never seen a good place or tasted good Mexican food and I'm 100% Mexican so get out some try something new unless you're from another nearby restaurant trying to put a negative spin on something but don't revenge is excellent five stars for sure!“

“We hosted my cousin’s birthday here with a HUGE group we basically took over the restaurant and the team handled it effortlessly!
The food was REALLY good. I had the Molcajete, and my kids loved the garlic shrimp and rice. Big thanks to Pablo in the kitchen for making everything so delicious.
The drinks were superb as well, courtesy of Lydia behind the bar. A huge shout-out to Marylou and Hector for so gracefully taking all of our orders, managing every single extra instruction, and keeping everything running smoothly for such a large party.

“Fantastic hidden gem! Located in north long beach, this authentic Mexican restaurant is absolutely delicious. They have plenty of nostalgic dishes that you may remember a loved cooking for you. They have soups, tacos, and special dishes such as costillitas con nopales. I was left very much happily satisfied. Parking is a nightmare, they have a small lot. It is a mom and pop shop, so please keep that in mind when you arrive. Seating is extremely limited, but they have a couple chairs out front to ensure you're taken care of. Please tip if you can as I'm positive a place like this is not common anymore these days. The ladies who serve and take orders have the most cute uniforms and friendliest of service. Anything upon request!!! Please ask before you do. They have a specific seating order and will be happy to accommodate when you ask! Oh they do serve alcohol, beers and margaritas 😬“

“Love me a fish taco from taco nazo. This time I had the cravings for a shrimp cocktail as well - superb choice it turned out to be. Everything was very satisfying, good portion size, quick turn around.

“I’ve been coming to Que Vida Tacos HB for over a year since I discovered they were in Beach Blvd in Morhers shopping center. Their food is excellent and their service is exceptional. They are very kind, friendly and always go out of their way for me and as am eating, I notice them asking other tables, how they like their food and if there is anything else they need. I would give more stars, if I could because Que Vida Tacos is bringing back the genuine old school service that is rear to find. Edwin Jess, Big T, everyone is awesome.“
