“I have to admit that my expectations were not high. Look, it's a base facility and I've been on a few over the years. But I ordered the plank steak, which was called something like, Special Forces something or other, and I'm sorry for not remembering. Anyway, the steak was really, really, thick and very flavorful. It was really tender too. I have to admit I was blown away. I honestly don't know about their consistency to serve it the same way all the time, but wow, it was really good and the price was also excellent. The only thing I wish they would of offered would of been a baked potato, because although you do get two sides, other than the veggies, I wasn't really sold on the others. Would I eat there again?...yes!“

“Bit of a wine snob and I ventured in waiting for a smog check and was blown away with the quality of their portfolio. Sta. Rita Hills Pinot is my favorite wine and they make a true expression that stands up to the best I’ve had from the region. The rose to go in a growler was also a huge hit among our friends; went very well with oysters and the blood orange forward Grenache rose is a must re-visit. Seal beach has it all, ask for Greg!“

The steaks are cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and full of flavor — and the ribs fall right off the bone. The sides are fresh and well-seasoned, and the whole menu has a great balance of comfort and quality.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is attentive, friendly, and really makes you feel taken care of. Overall, an amazing dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend if you’re craving great steak and ribs!“

“If you're looking for fast food Mexican this is the place to go. Their food is authentic it's delicious it's affordable and they're servings are very generous. If you're looking for something a little higher class I would still recommend eating here I've been dozens of sit down Mexican restaurants and this restaurant's got better food than most of the other ones that are twice the price.“

“It’s pretty easy to see why this place has been in business for so long I obviously love coming to new places and trying new things, but today was a special treat rare is the occasion that I get to try bread right from the bakery that made it I stopped in at Pollys by accident but the first thing I noticed for the delicious pies and the clientele because not only is it a bakery but it’s a restaurant! they keep their menu pretty straight to the point but the flavor of the bread and the quality and the texture is just amazing I had to try the Ryebread with some of their home churn butter it reminded me of the stuff I used to see on TV when people actually made their butter… It was delicious the smooth creamy butter mixed in with the flavor of the Ryebread made the 599 a pansy almost like I was ripping them off the staff was very friendly and the store was very clean this looks like a wonderful place for an early dinner or an incredible breakfast but the next review is gonna be about the chocolate cream pie because I imagine that something that should be smoked in a pipe it’s so good!“
