“What a fun place to stop in for a bite to eat and have a cocktail. We had the best server , she was so busy but still managed to get our drinks out fast . We had barbecue chicken pizza , potato skins and Tom Collins to drink. Everything was delicious especially the cocktails. This is definitely family friendly, I loved all the screen tv's .“
“the korean food here was amazing all three items were delicious! one of the best boneless korean fried chicken ive had! the chicken was so juicy and flavorful and amazing with the rose sauce. breading is a little much but besides that chicken was good. not pictured was the kimchi fried rice but that was perfect too! it was busy since it was a late saturday night but we ended up getting seated outside and it was so fun! music and service was amazing and chris and dana were so nice! it was our first time but me and my friends will definitely be back! the photo booth was a great addition!“
“After going to the Garden Amp for a concert, a group of us were looking for a place to grab and drink and a bite to eat. We found this place on Yelp and so we decided to give it a try. This place is in a industrial but the wife and I like dives so we came in. Unfortunately, the owner let us know that the kitchen was closed so I went out to inform our group. We decided to have a drink anyways but when we walked in Paula met us at the door with that huge smile and said that they could offer us a limited. We quickly ordered 5 burgers and fries. BTW, the buns are made there at Henry's, that is a nice and rare move for a small dive bar, right? The beer offerings were pretty decent. I had a Blue Moon and my friends had Fuzzy... something or other. I was laughing and talking so I don't know exactly. My wife did get the Cardiff Cab Sauvignon that was pretty decent. What makes a great dive bar is the crowd and this place had a great group. The table next to us was serenading the room with both Bolero's and some great country hits. Their fun was infectious. Thanks again Paula for helping us wrap up a great night. Hope to see you again, soon.“
“I love this place, they have a good happy hour and their drinks are stiff! Super friendly staff and nice patio vibes. My only issue is that sometimes they run out of food. They have different events throughout the week, so check their website before you stop on by.“
“I am so happy I came to this place! They had a nice happy Hour (till 7:00pm!!). I went on a Tuesday evening, and the restaurant was quiet, but it was great to get to talk with my friends without having to yell over music or anything. They have large TVs on, and the Dodger Game was on display by the bar area. We got the Michelada flight, and they were delicious. I thought we were going to need more, but the flight was enough for two to share, since we were not trying to get tipsy. The fries were good, had a lot of toppings. We ordered garlic fries and they brought out a different plate. It looked so appetizing, we didn't bother sending them back and just enjoyed them. My friend also ordered Fresas can Creme and they came in a cute martini glass. When I got my check, I was so relieved with the amount. They have a good size parking lot too. Im definitely going to come back. I don't know if it gets busy on the weekends but they have 90min. $20 Bottomless mimosas, so I would assume it does.“
“Our favorite neighborhood hang right now! Riley's never disappoints. I love the Watermelon Margarita. They have a decent beer selection. All the food is excellent! The Poke Wonton Tostadas and Ceviche are delicious and reliable appetizers. The Strawberry Goat Cheese Salad and the Steak Salad are two of my favorites. They serve very, very good pizzas and burgers. But my absolute all time favorite item on the Riley's menu is the Smash Burger. This burger is perfect in every way!!! If you haven't checked Riley's out yet, I recommend you do.“
“Ordered New York & Shrimp to-go, white rice w/vegetables adding Miso soup. White rice was the best part, don't get me wrong the food was good just not worth $45.14. The Teriyaki sauce tasted like it was made by a white guy trying too hard to cook Japanese food. The vegetables were cooked perfectly! I became a bit spoiled for Japanese food in HB from eating at Matsu (Beach & Talbert) since 1978, but this was okay food, I really can't complain much. I am wondering why at 7:30PM on a Wednesday night the dining room was a ghost town?!?It was the best Japanese food I've had on Beach Blvd. in HB for a long time. Matsu has gone downhill since it changed ownership in the 90's, but I think I found my new favorite Japanese restaurant to eat at in HB.I think I was happy with my food overall, I'll give it a solid 7 out of 10. If the staff were a bit more friendly, I'd give you another point, let's see what happens the next time I visit this restaurant.Good job people. ?Parking: This restaurant is located in the old HB Fire Station across the street from Taco Bell, plenty of parking but would be better if it had a little bit more lighting.“
“Such a cute and comfy sports bar ! Came during happy hour and the food did not disappoint ? from the wings to the sliders everything was delicious. Servers and everyone working there is so nice and welcoming and make the atmosphere in there very cheerful. Will definitely come back for the ribs and more ??“
“Everyone was super nice, fun atmosphere with great music. I had a margarita with chips/salsa/guac. The guacamole was okay, but the salsa was flavorful and delicious. The margarita was a good price. An affordable, fun place to eat with lots of great vegan options!“
“You will be very surprised that this place has crab legs at the same price and quality of Captain Jacks which is up the street and not easy to get a table at. My order was take out due to some unique circumstances of the evening but I'm so glad I found this secret because it was surprisingly delicious and affordable. You want great crab legs then King Neptune's has you covered!“
“Meet my friend for her birthday lunch and we had the place to ourselves....Our service for spectacular...Definitely get the "Diva" Martini...We will be meeting there again for sure...Can't say enough great things about this place....Parking: Great, lots of it & very close....“
“I can't believe I haven't written a review here yet! (Thought I did!) Anyway, first came here last year for my sister's friend/band member's birthday party! (Jordan) And some of his art work was displayed for sale. It was pretty fun! The DJ booth looks cool! The giant screen allowed them to play their new music video for their band called Wamdingis! (Check them out!) That night was lit! Thank you to the bar tenders & chef! The fried cheese curds were unforgettable! Came back here another time with a girlfriend because she was sad about her guy. Anyway, we ordered the tater tots (yummy!) & some seltzer drinks. I sang a song for Karaoke night on Sunday. We also ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and added bacon! Omg! So glad we split it! That was too good! Then we bar hopped a little before going home. Tonight, I was supposed to help my sister's band with merch at the Santa Ana art walk but they finished before I got there so I turned around and went home and Lyfted here. Ordered the garlic lemon pepper wings & cheese curds! Mmmm! So good! Highly recommended! The kitchen is open until 1 or 2am! Woohoo! So this is def a 2-in-1 spot! Parking sucks on the streets so just Lyft here! Maybe I'll see you guys around!“
“A neighborhood favorite! Amazing people work here I always feel at home #vibesonpoint. I come for the quality food and great service. Today I asked for the sweet potato sub instead of French fries and they had SWEET PATATO WAFFEL CUT FRIES #inlove. They need to keep those on the menu! Camilla is my favorite and provides the best customer service. Dogz is the place to be.“
“A nice place to grab an adult beverage and watch a game or two. Suna and Dana are awesome!! We had a great time here people watching and having some drinks. The food is decent and the drinks are strong. They have many tv's to watch your favorite team or NASCAR. Wish they had live bands here, looks like they have a stage for it.“
“Absolutely amazing food, you can’t find this quality at two to three times these prices. I had the Angel hair pasta special with cream sauce, chicken and seafood. The portion was huge, the pasta was perfect, loaded with seafood, excellent cheese, garlic bread and a couple of whiskeys, run here, don’t walk.“
“Nice to be able to set outside, have a Guinness, cocktail and a bite to eat. Tuesday special Hamburgers buy one get one free. Is some of the best Hamburgers in town. The Gallagher is my usual. However, last night I had the Blue Cheese Burger with real Blue Cheese. It was excellent with lots of flavor. Our server was a little busy but kept checking back and offered more drinks when needed. Of course the Guinness is the only beer that I really enjoy. Guinness is like having a double espresso and a good cigar. Please make sure to tip on the original amount of the bill before the Burger discount.Parking: Street parking on Broadway is a little hard to find at times. There is more parking on the side streets. Plenty of areas for bike parking.“
“We stopped by for a late breakfast and to watch some Sunday football. There was 4 of us. We had breakfast and lunch. The chila quila's were great, and the nachos was enough to share with 4. Beer was cold. They have plenty of tvs and a pool table. Is small but a great place to stop by. Will definitely be going back.“
“Where do I begin. The bartenders, such kind people. The owners, I had the pleasure of meeting them and they were such a pleasure. The atmosphere is great, the artwork on the walls is nice, well lit outside area with TVs and space heaters so you can have a smoke with your drink, and the spacing of the tables from the pool tables. Was perfect And there's pool tables! Not one or two, enough for there to be competitive and friendly games going on at the same time. They're kept in good condition, proper size. And the patrons are always keeping the juke Jams flowing... 5 stars, 11/10 would recommend.“
“This place is very smoky which is too bad very nice restaurant clean and the staff is nice I didn't eat the food who can eat wirh all that smokeBut I guess that's how these places are Just went for a birthday celebration and it was good“
“The overall food is a bit disappointing. This is an area that needs to be improved considering the price, but if you pay a little more attention, I think it will become a good snack ingredient. The service overall is good, but it is a bit disappointing and the bathroom needs maintenance. The price of soju is 12.99, which is high, and the snacks are also not cost-effective.“
“We have been to Gaslamp about five times now to see our favorite Rage Against the Machine tribute band, Renegades of Rage. They never disappoint. This time there were two other tribute bands opening for them. Tribute band for Nirvana, Nirvanish was better than I remember from seeing them once before. The lead singer must have been a trance medium. Because all I seen and heard was Kurt Cobain. They also sang a Filter song, Hey Man, Nice Shot, that is in my favorites playlist. The owner of Gaslamp came out on stage to preform in a tribute band for Smashing Pumpkins called The Great Pumpkin! What an extremely pleasant surprise! We've watched them before and I don't remember being this impressed. We sounded so much like Billy Corrigan! Their drummer flew in from I'm not sure where but I'm sure glad that he did. Awesome drummer! Renegades! We love you guys! Johnny, Diego, Jeff and Mike...I'll never get tired of hearing you guys and watching your shows. If I can't get RATM, I'll take Renegades any day, any time, always! We were there with our son and daughter in law celebrating my hubby's 51st bday. The band made him feel special by giving a shout out for his bday! If you haven't seen Renegades before, I can't stress enough that you should find their next show and watch out for the mosh pit! We did not eat here, but Renegades lead singer Johnny did recommend them. Hubby wanted Tamales from Angie's in Norwalk instead. The drinks are comparably priced. Good wait staff. Bathrooms were clean and we'll stocked when we got there. The dance floor was not sticky, just a pet peeve for me.“
“The food is absolutely delicious and so fresh. The service is top tier no matter how busy the restaurant becomes, and the drinks will have me coming back over and over again. I especially love the new decor and the line dancing lessons. It's so much fun!Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome to enjoy table games with NO electronics! Connect Four, Rock 'em sock 'em robots and others. And don't be shy to get them to the dance floor so they can experience and learn line dancing. It's such a cute sight!“
“The Special Ops steak is better than I've had at large chain restaurants! The prices here are fabulous and the overall experience is generally very good. They have a large variety of drinks available and there is dinning inside and on the patio. If your looking for a banquet hall, they have them here too! The only downside is the operating hours.“
