“Went to Salty Dawg with a few buddies to hang out and have a beer. The restaurant is rustic but clean and friendly. The kitchen closed very early on Saturday night. Was told the kitchen was going to close about 8pm when the restaurant closes at 10pm. Was not a big deal for us but thought it odd. If your in the area and would like a cold beer and friendly service check this place out.“

“The place is a small bar, two pool tables, a small dance floor, but the vibe is poppn'.. 5 of us went and we had a blast, we got lucky it was someone birthday and there was live music (banda). “My first bar & grill with a ribeye. AND they’re surprisingly delish! With a scoop of garlic butter and a crap load of sautéd mushroom on top. Had to split the medium rare 16 oz cuz they’re so fricking generous on the 2 sides! I chose steam veggies (nothing exciting) and the clam chowder (unfortunately, its a meh). First time to enjoy a steak while watching a dodgers and stanley cup game. And the atmosphere is different yet enjoyable. I’d definitely be back. Probably going to try their prime ribs…“

“I’ve been going to Brian’s sports bar since my college days at Cal State Fullerton from 1979 through 1984. Great place to have food, share laughs. and have an ice cold beer.“

“The most notable featurr of this bar (with good food & apps) is the bartenders also work the floor as servers and they are all pretty. But their efficiency and professionalism is equal to their looks, so the women customers, accept them. I know that last sentence was terrible, but it's true and I'm too tired to re-word it.“

“I rated this based on typical bar food. It’s better than most. Nachos are really good, hamburger also good. Fish and chips too. It’s not usually crowded. They have a pool table and darts. Tons of TVs but a nice assortment of sports. Last time we were there they had basketball but also golf and figure skating. And best of all, it’s not expensive compared to most places in the area.

Vegetarian options: Not a ton of options but there’s nachos, fish and chips (if you eat fish) and probably a few others.“

“Love love love. Owners are super nice, prices are reasonable. I love everything I’ve ordered. I eat almost every daily special, except for Friday’s fish taco special because I don’t like fish. Otherwise, I’ve had so many of their menu items and even some of there specialty foods they randomly make in small batches that they sell as ready-to-go (like their homemade potato salad). Love it!!!

Vegetarian options: They have options like their garden burger, potato salad, regular fries and onion rings. There may be more options but those are the ones I know.

Parking: Parking lot is paid, but if you get free monthly parking because you work in the buildings next door then it’s great, because there is plenty of parking, it’s just a bit confusing.
Entry and exit are one-way. When you enter you go only through the C & D sections, & you have to keep turning left to keep going up the levels. If you ever turn right on any level toward the exit sign you’ll be forced to keep going through the A & B sections downward until you exit and have to start over.

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s on the ground floor right by the parking lot. It looks like there should be no issue for wheelchair users to access. No ramp necessary for entry as there are no steps.“

If your looking to try out some new dranks definitely hit up Justine, her and juan (old bartender thats use to work there)got me hooked on that "Irish breakfast" shot definitely a must try if you wanna try out new dranks. Howard is a great karaoke dj fun and funny and treats everyone like family he makes it alot of fun. Security is friendly and hilarious. Over all great place and fun to go to.“

“We stayed at the Hilton in Costa Mesa and had coupons for complimentary Continental breakfast 2 mornings. The first morning we upgraded to hot buffet breakfast that included scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, oatmeal. The eggs were powered, the sausage tasted like cardboard and bacon was so-so. The oatmeal was homemade and was good! This breakfast cost $18.00 + tax. The second morning we ordered off the menu and was better choices getting fresh cooked food. My wife had omelet with hash browns and toast and I had eggs Benedict with hashbrowns and tomato slice and coffee. We both enjoyed these menu options!“

Parking: Sincé the bar is inside the hotel, you can Park at the front or at the parking lot next to the hotel, is like 2 min walk to the bar.

“So happy to say after a poor first experience we returned yesterday to have the Sunday roast. Have to say it was one of the best roasts I’ve ever had. Food was piping hot, meats were all tender and roasties to die for. Service was excellent and would now happily return.“
