The girls and karaoke are a part of the place since it is set up like a Japanese style hostess bar. I have no interest in that but if you try the food you will realize this place is a hidden gem. they have great Japanese food and a very nice staff. I prefer to come eat sometimes with the wife or friends since it it very hard to find authentic Japanese for of this caliber for the prices they charge.
We stayed at the Hilton in Costa Mesa and had coupons for complimentary Continental breakfast 2 mornings. The first morning we upgraded to hot buffet breakfast that included scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, oatmeal. The eggs were powered, the sausage tasted like cardboard and bacon was so-so.
