“This place a hole in a wall guys, lemme put you on seriously from the ambiance to the drinks. The most special is the owner, Goto-san, is super cute and he appeased to my wants and needs. Very friendly spot and fancy club-like vibe WITH karaoke. I must recommend to stop by for a chil drink/ night cap!!“
“An amazing local bar. Was here both Friday and Saturday night. The Security does their job while still maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for the customers. I have traveled all over the world and honestly The bartenders here are the most professional and friendly I have ever seen. Drinks were great. The crowd was very friendly and welcoming. I had a great time here. I give them a 10 out of 10.“
“We were greeted almost the moment we stepped through the front door. After sliding into a booth, our server, Sara, graciously took drink orders. After reviewing their ample menu, we settled on grilled cheese with soup and one of their specialties, fish and chips. The kettle chips that come with the sandwich were amazing! Good tomato soup and hearty cheese portion on the sandwich. Crispy batter on the fish which included fresh coleslaw. Their Happy Hour is from 4-7pm M-F. The menu features a bunch of options that look like good value. We will definitely be back!Cheers!“
“Came to open mic. Had a blast! The food was excellent, and the service right on time. They were super attentive. Had a great time, and the vibe was super fun and energetic. And all of the performers were really, really good. I'll be coming back for sure!“
“First time at Goat Hill and Rob the bartender greeted me immediately. He is the sweetest most genuine bartender I've met. Made me feel safe which is extremely rare with bartenders. He's there every other day but Tuesday and Wednesday. I love Rob.“
“GREAT quality restaurant/bar with fresh and delicious appetizers and entrees, and quick and friendly staff and service. They also have AWESOME Happy Hour service with a generous timeslot from 4-7 p.m., Mon. - Fri. We'll DEFINITELY be back, as regulars!“
“They make the best cioppino. We usually sit at the bar where we can watch the talented chefs make it. Fly n' Fish uses very fresh seafood, and you can taste the difference. The Caesar salad is fresh and delicious. I also like the fish and chips. I just wish they used thicker cut chips and not fries. The parking can sometimes be challenging. Overall, it is one of my favorite places. Great food, wonderful staff, and relaxed atmosphere.“
“Ordered New York & Shrimp to-go, white rice w/vegetables adding Miso soup. White rice was the best part, don't get me wrong the food was good just not worth $45.14. The Teriyaki sauce tasted like it was made by a white guy trying too hard to cook Japanese food. The vegetables were cooked perfectly! I became a bit spoiled for Japanese food in HB from eating at Matsu (Beach & Talbert) since 1978, but this was okay food, I really can't complain much. I am wondering why at 7:30PM on a Wednesday night the dining room was a ghost town?!?It was the best Japanese food I've had on Beach Blvd. in HB for a long time. Matsu has gone downhill since it changed ownership in the 90's, but I think I found my new favorite Japanese restaurant to eat at in HB.I think I was happy with my food overall, I'll give it a solid 7 out of 10. If the staff were a bit more friendly, I'd give you another point, let's see what happens the next time I visit this restaurant.Good job people. ?Parking: This restaurant is located in the old HB Fire Station across the street from Taco Bell, plenty of parking but would be better if it had a little bit more lighting.“
“After going to the Garden Amp for a concert, a group of us were looking for a place to grab and drink and a bite to eat. We found this place on Yelp and so we decided to give it a try. This place is in a industrial but the wife and I like dives so we came in. Unfortunately, the owner let us know that the kitchen was closed so I went out to inform our group. We decided to have a drink anyways but when we walked in Paula met us at the door with that huge smile and said that they could offer us a limited. We quickly ordered 5 burgers and fries. BTW, the buns are made there at Henry's, that is a nice and rare move for a small dive bar, right? The beer offerings were pretty decent. I had a Blue Moon and my friends had Fuzzy... something or other. I was laughing and talking so I don't know exactly. My wife did get the Cardiff Cab Sauvignon that was pretty decent. What makes a great dive bar is the crowd and this place had a great group. The table next to us was serenading the room with both Bolero's and some great country hits. Their fun was infectious. Thanks again Paula for helping us wrap up a great night. Hope to see you again, soon.“
“Great food, great service, and the waiters really wait on you. The team takes great pride in the details. We felt like part of their family from the moment you walked in.Thank you for the great memory! I love this Italian restaurant.(part of our 35year anniversary / road trip)“
“As hounds who loves nothing more than a good outing to The Alley in Newport Beach, we can confidently bark about the pawsome experience it offers. The Pups on the Patio menu is like a smorgasbord of tail-wagging delights, with treats and snacks that cater to both human and canine palates. Woof!!! But what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service. The servers, manager, and owner are like a pack of devoted pals, always ready with a scratch behind the ears or a hearty belly rub. It’s a place where dogs like us feel not just welcomed, but truly cherished. A woof-worthy experience, indeed!“
“Very good sausage, English muffins not just junkie cheap ones like most use, dairy gold butter and smuckers jam, good bacon. Great steak fries.Cup that wife's coffee came in was not clean from previous customer, but everything else was way above average.“
“This is one of my new favorite places! The food has not disappointed. This could be classified as a dive bar but I truly believe the food will set this places apart!I find myself craving the food from here all the time! It's simple but great! The onions rings taste better than most places. The staff has always been super friendly.Haley, Alex and JoAnne are awesome!!“
“This is a great place to golf and practice and putting. The employees are special and go out of their way to make your experience special. The owners are hands on. Just ah great place to be. “Best Burger in the peninsula. Won't have it any other way. The Scotch Bonnet sauce and A1 is the combination of all combos. My go to spot for a Great Burger. Try the chips with the sauce you won't be disappointed. I have been eating Cassidy's Burgers with a Beer for as long as I can remember . I always recommend the burger there. It's the Best. Don't sleep on this spot. It's a local hang out and the staff is on it.“
“Eat here regularly as they sponsor our beach football league and I really enjoy their food. They have a range of options and all of us have our go to dish! We always meet here mid day on Saturdays and snagging a spot on the patio and enjoying the sunshine, views, company and food is perfect!“
“It was a different kind of experience for us. It had the atmosphere of a restaurant, but you had to order and pay at the bar. It was not busy or crowded, so it worked out well for us. I wonder how crazy it is when the place is busy. Overall, the food was good, and the service was satisfactory. I would go back again when I'm in the area.“

“I stumbled upon Three-13 Bar quite serendipitously, post-haircut, and what a delightful discovery it was! Nestled off West 19th Street, this gem is part of a vibrant row dedicated to nightlife and entertainment. Upon entering, I was greeted by the comfortable buzz of a busy bar, not overwhelming but just lively enough. Shannon, the owner, was manning the bar and her welcoming presence added to the overall good vibes. The place is well-laid out with large wall booths and high tables, perfect for groups or solo visitors like me. A key feature for any sports enthusiast is the multiple TVs showcasing various sports, ensuring you don't miss out on any action. Moreover, the music set the tone - all thanks to an on-demand jukebox that lets patrons be the DJ. An unexpected highlight of my visit was crossing paths with a group celebrating a birthday. Their infectious joy and camaraderie were contagious, and they kindly brought me into their fold, turning a solo drink into a mini-celebration. I ventured in during the mid-afternoon, so the nighttime vibe remains a mystery. However, based on this experience, I'm eager to return with friends and uncover what Three-13 Bar has to offer as the night unfolds. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back spot with great energy and a sense of community. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Three-13 is definitely worth a visit!“
