“10/10 would watch ANY LIVE SPORTS EVENT here again! 🏀 Austin and Gina were absolutely superstars, they deserve an MVP award for handling so many people and being super friendly and customer service orientated! This was my first time in a sports bar in a longggg time and they made our group of 3 felt so at home as if we were regulars. The environment is that of welcoming with people cheering, shouting, talking, laughter all around. The service was quick and the specials were really budget friendly and bang for your buck! Thanks again for the great experience! Glad we got to saw the historic Knicks run at your establishment 🙏“

“We stayed at the Hilton in Costa Mesa and had coupons for complimentary Continental breakfast 2 mornings. The first morning we upgraded to hot buffet breakfast that included scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, oatmeal. The eggs were powered, the sausage tasted like cardboard and bacon was so-so. The oatmeal was homemade and was good! This breakfast cost $18.00 + tax. The second morning we ordered off the menu and was better choices getting fresh cooked food. My wife had omelet with hash browns and toast and I had eggs Benedict with hashbrowns and tomato slice and coffee. We both enjoyed these menu options!“

It would not be my first choice to go watch a game as the TV's were old and the picture quality was pretty bad. If they upgrade the TV's I would upgrade my rating.“

“If you're looking for a true Newport Beach classic, Cassidy's Bar & Grill is one of those places that absolutely deserves a visit. Whether you're stopping in after a day at the beach, bar hopping through the Peninsula, or just looking for a place with great people and cold beer, Cassidy's delivers every single time.

One of the first things you'll notice is how professional and hardworking the security staff is. Tai, Will, Troy, and Saed do an incredible job keeping the place safe and making sure everyone has a good time. They're respectful, approachable, and always on top of things, but here's a friendly piece of advice... don't screw with them. They're there to keep the atmosphere fun for everyone, and they do that job exceptionally well.

The bartenders are just as awesome. Both Dereks and Brian have always treated me like family. They're fast, friendly, know how to keep the drinks flowing, and somehow remember faces even after a packed weekend. Great bartenders can make or break a neighborhood bar, and these guys are a huge reason Cassidy's has built such a loyal following over the years.

And let's talk about the food.

The burgers are seriously underrated. They're exactly what you'd hope for after a few beers, fresh, juicy, cooked right, and absolutely hit the spot. Whether you're grabbing lunch or trying to recover from a long night out, you won't leave disappointed. Voted best in all of Orange County multiple times, dont forget the sauce!

What really makes Cassidy's special, though, is the atmosphere. It's one of those rare bars where locals, visitors, regulars, and first timers all seem to fit right in. The conversations come easy, the staff makes you feel welcome, and every visit has the potential to become another great story.

As the founder of Beerslut, I can honestly say places like Cassidy's have inspired a lot of our blog stories and even some of our clothing designs just like Beachball & Baja Sharkies. It's a genuine neighborhood bar with personality, history, and the kind of authentic Newport Beach character that's becoming harder to find.

“Got to meet the one and only Bruno and let me say he makes the experience worthwhile. He has huge muscles, a big smile, and cute little ears.

The pretzel is the way to go for starters it’s HUGE. And then balance it off with a burger and you’re golden.
The TV’s are right by the booths which is so awesome haven’t seen too many places do that.

If you want to meet a gorgeous dog/owner (Bruno) and have an overall great sports bar experience by the beach this is the place!“

The tequila pasta was the standout amongst the other dishes; chicken philly & enchiladas. Our waiter took very good care of us and the reasonable prices were a bonus.“

“This is a great place to golf and practice and putting. The employees are special and go out of their way to make your experience special. The owners are hands on. Just ah great place to be. And the ladies in the restaurant are awful pretty and make great food. The one name connie is a treasure.??“

“Great place to chill by the beach. Had the meatball sandwich. The meatballs were on Hawaiian rolls which tasted fantastic. Only complaint is its not enough, especially when it tastes that good.
Service was.as expected, bar is very welcoming as it's always been. The back patio was comfortable setting, benches etc. Come for some good food, especially if you want drinks.“

“We ordered the shrimp/chicken/steak plate to go, with an extra side of veggies. The food is good! Everything was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and seasoned just right. No heavy oil flavors as we’ve had with similar restaurants. My husband and I shared the order, and we have plenty left over for another meal. Our order was ready on time and the staff were helpful.“
