“We came here on a Tuesday afternoon at lunchtime. There is a taco special that is competitive for the level of service, quality, and ambiance. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean. I would recommend this to a friend and I would come back. The portions are perfect. The chips and salsa/dips are really delicious.“
“I ordered tacos: tri tip, carnitas, and fish. Although not Mexican in flavor, I really enjoyed the beef and pork. I'm pretty sure they added a sweet secret sauce to these tacos (which Americanized it). The fish taco was good but was falling apart. The chips were good, the salsa mild/bland. The line was long but moved pretty quickly. Bathrooms are available for customers only, but line too long to wait. Limited seating. Most people ate outdoors at tables. We sat on the ground. The indoor dining area was very dark (and dingy), and we couldn't find enough chairs. Overall, it was good, but I probably would not go back because there are tons of other restaurants available to try out.“
“Will always recommend this place to anyone. Fast, amazing prices, and great food. The tacos always have delicious spices and loaded with onions, cilantro and salsa. Staff remembers their customers and are so nice and respectful. Do not leave your car in the street with blinkers on though. It's a neighborhood and I see people do this all the time there is plenty of parking please park your car instead of taking up half the road.“
“I went here with some coworkers last week. There were 8 of us in total and while this restaurant was on the smaller side in terms of seating the food was definitely worth it. We had several people in the group with dietary restrictions and all those restrictions were accounted and accommodated for. Everyone had a great time and the food was delicious. An emergency unfortunately happened and I had to eat my food several hours later but even then it was so delicious. Personally I think if take out food still tastes good after being reheated in a microwave then it’s a sign of a well prepared meal. I had a street carnitas taco, two hard shell beef tacos, and a chimichanga. Everything was so delicious and very affordable. My whole meal was under $25 and it was incredibly filling and satisfying. I’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and had my fair share of the cuisine and this is definitely a place I would return to!Dietary restrictions: Some people were gluten and dairy free and were easily able to find things to eat.“
“My boyfriend and I were in Huntington Beach for Labor Day weekend and before leaving we searched Apple Maps for a taco truck. This one was the first one that popped up & we went for it seeing that they had 4.5 stars on Yelp! Let me tell you, soooooo good! We happened to go on Taco Tuesday so they had a 5 for $5 special on the tacos! They're regularly $1.50 each which is still super cheap. They were amazing and will definitely be back when in the area! Service was great too!“
“Casa Jimenez Mexican Restaurant, located in Huntington Beach, delivers an authentic taste of Mexico with its vibrant ambiance and flavorful dishes, offering both classic favorites and innovative creations. This place has become my go-to Mexican food restaurant.“
“This place is a gem. Me and my coworker and I went in randomly the other day and were greeted by the most wonderful staff. We got some food which was so good I can't begin to tell you.I had two tacos rice and beans, and my buddy got a massive burrito. They have a full bar and heated patio. So glad I found this place.“
“I like going here because it’s close to where I live and convenient! Their California Burritos are huge and have plenty of filling. I always get a side of sour cream to go along with it. Their chips and salsa are always a good side as well! The chips aren’t always the freshest but they’re not horrible either. I do prefer Chipotles chips more though. I usually get their horchata, there have been a few times it didn’t have much flavor so I’m not sure if their machine wasn’t mixing it thoroughly.Customer service is usually pretty good. It’s a hit or miss if I get someone who is friendly or someone who clearly doesn’t care much for their job.Chipotle is a better option in my opinion but Chronic Tacos isn’t bad for when I want something similar, but don’t want to make the drive!“
“I know it's difficult to try new restaurants, especially because we "fear" we might not like it and we're going to "waste" our money but don't pass on this restaurant. Take my recommendation and give it a try. My family and i have been here several times ,the food is amazing and so are their prices. Oscar and his wife make a great team, We have tried the Asada breakfast burrito, the healthy omelet, tacos governador, birria, and one of our favorite Carnitas torta. For a small restaurant, they have a lot of options on their menu. He also has weekly specials that you can not pass on. we love to support small businesses, and i hope you can do the same.“
“We met one of the managers at the Mediterranean restaurant around the corner. She suggested we try Gs for brunch We could not make brunch so we came for dinner. Was not disappointed. We had the Oysters Rockefeller and clam strips to start. Both were really good. My neice had the Fish tacos and said they were excellent, I had the chowder which was a meal for sure and hubby had the Cobb salad also.terrific.“
“I love the upstairs layout and patio here. Haley the server knows enough ASL to take orders and effectively communicate with my Deaf friends who are here in the first Tuesday of every month. I love the poké bowl here Will gladly return when I can personally afford to or a friend is offering to treat me.“
“What a fun off the beaten path restaurant! We enjoyed a Chicken Bowl-rito, Potato Tacos and Chips and Guacamole!Made fresh while you wait and prepared right in front of you. So yummy! We took our order to go and it was packaged well for travelYou won't be disappointed with their food !“
“I come to this spot almost every morning and sometimes in the evening. Two reasons, convenience and customer service.... the staff at this location are so friggin' friendly, they are respectful, polite and their interactions seem genuine! I know, these are "common" attributes that are "expected" from any business, why is it a big deal you ask???? I tell you, it is because common courtesy is not so common for this generation of customer service staff across all industries! So yes, I am more than impressed with great customer service these days! Oh yeah, two thumbs up for not being on your phone while serving customers! Thank you Jack staff on Edwards & Bolsa, you guys (and gals) are the best!“
“When we visit the Bolsa Chica area we always stop at this restaurant as their food is delicious and refreshing on a hot Summer day. The food is Hawaiian based so if you are looking for rice, poke, or a fried egg give this place a try you will not be disappointed. A few recommendations are the poke salad bowls, salmon, and the burger they are cooked to perfection. The seafood they use is fresh and they grill it just right with a crispy skin and the inside is soft and not dry. The rice and salads that come with many of the meals are served hot and are mixed well. There are also Hawaiian drinks from lychee to Hawaiian beer - they also sell regular beers and alcoholic drinks on the menu. The wait time for the food is a little long as they make the items right when you order them. None of the items taste like they have been sitting or are warmed up - they assemble each combo plate as they are being ordered. This is a type of restaurant where you order in the window and wait for your order to be called. As for tables it's first come first serve they are scattered throughout both in front of the restaurant and the beach area. They also have live musicians and bands playing on different days and times. If you want to come and listen to the live music you can do that without having to purchase food. You can order drinks from their bar and relax and enjoy the sunset. The only downside is that the prices are a little high especially for some items that are small as in the burger and salads. The total amount for your food is comparable to eating at a restaurant as you could easily spend over 100 for a few plates and drinks. Out of all the restaurants along the beach on PCH I say this is the best one and they have attentive customer service which is always a plus.“
“Always great service. There is a woman that works the drive through sometimes, I think her name is Avila, or something like that, and she is the nicest person and always gets the order correct. Great people work there and I go to that Jack in the Box rather than other locations.“
“I'm not sure of her name, but the blonde woman who regularly works the night shift register has a great attitude, and is always very pleasant, personable, and accommodating. Great customer service from her consistently and makes this location worth going to.“
“Friend recommendation. This Mexican joint is in downtown HB by PCH and the beach. So parking is limited as there is also a market until 9Pm. Environment is nice but something seems familiar? That's right. This place is similar to Los Chollos of Anaheim and Fullerton. For taco Tuesday, you get 3 of the premium cuts for 11 bucks (if paying cash). Paying by cash gets you a discount. They do have fountain drinks so that's a plus and they have the usuals like Los Chollos including the veggie/sauce bar. Depending on when you come in determines how long you have to wait. Busiest time would equal at least 40+ minute wait. Got arrachera, cocina and pork belly. Choose the pork belly because you get a lot of meat and that's a plus. It's very crispy and delicious. Overall, this place is good. It's just finding parking is going to be the dead giveaway but I like it. Would go back if I'm in the area and craving good tacos.“
