“We stumbled upon Bee’s Knees by accident for breakfast and there was a parking spot right in front just waiting for us. It was a delicious last meal and great find before heading to the airport to end our lovely spring break in Newport Beach. Breakfast was delicious, the staff was extremely kind, the weather on the patio was perfect. We enjoyed every bite, thank you so much!“

“We had high hopes coming to Olea, but alas we were disappointed. Location/Ambiance: Westcliff Plaza and small with a large bar at the front, the layout leaves little space for tables. We sat in a snug booth alongside the windows with a view of Susie Cakes next door. The decor is warm and modern. Food: Subpar! Burnt bread but delicious whipped butter. Butter lettuce and Goat cheese salad was bland with a basic dressing. Mac and cheese skillet was good but nothing amazing. Filet was dry with overdone gluey mashed potatoes, and underdone broccolini. Halibut was pan seared to a dry mess with an inedible coating, bland steamed seasonal vegetables of cauliflower, carrots, and broccoli as a side. Service: Friendly and Fake, if you enjoy watching servers walk away from your table talking about how "picky and difficult you are" this is a perfect spot. My Mother has dietary restrictions and we are specific to ensure a safe dining experience, it's sad when that's met with disdain. Overall: We won't be back!“

“Tuna Tartare with avocado was delicious. My two guest had chicken salad and shrimp salad respectively and they loved them. It's always nice and a more elegant experience than most of the restaurants at the mall. The Consomme and the baked popover with the strawberry butter is always a big hit.“

“Bayside Restaurant in Newport Beach is a gem, especially for its live music every night. The atmosphere is so captivating that I often find myself singing along or even getting up to dance. The food and service are just as exceptional: my go-to dishes are the scallops, the lamb, and all the steaks. The seafood is so fresh and the steaks are far superior in flavor to any high-end restaurant. For appetizers, the ahi tuna tartare is a must-try (THE BEST I’ve had anywhere), and the calamari with its Thai-style twist of chilies, green onion, and cilantro over an amazing salad is a standout. Desserts? Absolutely heavenly. The cheesecake and panna cotta are favorites, but the Grand Marnier souffle is simply to die for. The service is also impeccable…from the moment you arrive with the complimentary valet service, to the hostesses, the bartenders, servers, and bussers. Everyone is so friendly and attentive! Bayside is an experience I cherish every time. Can’t wait for my next visit!“

“Sessions is great for a beach sandwich! Unique sandwiches that I always crave (especially the Moddock Mellee- sprouts yum!) would definitely recommend if you want a good sandwich to take to the beach.
Wait can be a little long for a big group in the summer and prices are a little higher than I’d like but do recommend their food!“

The menu is great. Tons of different options to pick from. The pizza is what was recommended to us by the staff and they were correct! Wow, delicious!
We tried the Hawaiian, Eggplant pizzas, as well as the French Dip. Everything was made well and tasted great. Would suggest going with a pizza! Big enough to share or have individually.

Good selection of drinks, cocktails, and draft beer. Tons of local selection as well. Our server was excellent throughout the whole meal.

If you're needing a local spot to try while on the island, definitely give Snipe Island a try. You won't be disappointed!“

The sourdough rolls have been replaced with a sweetbread that we didn't care for. The escargot seemed to be missing garlic altogether and came with 3 small toasts, not enough! The wedge salad was just uninteresting and the bacon bits were hard enough to crack a tooth. The ribeye was cooked to perfection as was the halibut but the small side of au gratin potatoes tasted old and refrigerated, we left them. We could have complained to our exceptional waiter, Colin, but we just chalked it up to changing times. We've had countless perfect dinners at 21 O to remember, this just wasn't one of them,“

“Had a lovely meal at the restaurant. Food was beautifully prepared. We had the burrata toast. It was amazing to look at and tasted wonderful. I think I might have made the bread slightly thinner but it was a joy to eat. I had the seafood arabiatta. It was packed with clams, shrimp and mussels with a lovely sauce, rigatoni pasta and slices of parmigiana. My husband had the steak, perfectly prepared with a sauce he found unctuous. Our waiter was personable and attentive. He called for a golf cart for us (noting my husband has mobility issues.). All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience.“
