“Fun little spot. I went on a Tuesday night. It was an older crowd. But they had a live trivia game there, so that was kinda cool. It was our first time there. My adult daughter said she wanted to see the passing trains. She also said the drinks were really good. Guy serving us was hustling and was really nice.“

“Green Tomato Grill has wonderful food -- and BOGO (buy one get one) coupons on entrees are available if you know where to look! (Even without them, it's no worse than $$ out of $$$$.)“

“A great place to go retro to the age of train travel. And, its aside the RR tracks from LA to Oceanside and San Diego. Restaurant and bar have outside seating along the tracks but you can sit inside and still see the trains pass by. Some stop as its also a train stop (Orange). Our lunch was great. Served so hot had to let our reuben and hamberger cool a bit. Large menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Full bar. \n\nGot time to kill. Cross the street to the free Hilbert Museum of pastels, watercolors, oil, and a collection of early portable radios too?“

“Bowling is a unique game that’s both a sport and recreational indulgence. With more than 250,000 bowling lanes and 100 million players, it is considered among the most widely played sports in the world. It is a part of American culture, and even when many other sports activities have intruded on its space, it continues to be a crowd-pleaser. Bowling is a part of popular culture and has found a place in film, TV, and professional sport. It is also on its way to becoming an Olympic Sport in the not-so-distant future. Many movies have been made around the sport, and many famous men and women have expressed their appreciation and weakness for it. Bowling lingo has spread into other parts of our lives. Without further ado, for your amusement and inspiration – enjoy! If I had been on ‘Bowling for Dollars, I’d wind up owing them money. It’s not how you bowl; it’s how your roll. Never rent bowling shoes if you wear size 15. Dinosaurs didn’t bowl & now they are extinct. Coincidence?“

“Perfect date night spot! Food was delicious & we then enjoyed some drinks outside. Craft beer options were a little limited but still good though (can't go wrong with Karl strause). Inside temperature in the hotel/restaurant was very cold though (being in the winter). Was much more comfortable being outside. Many thanks!“

“Short Review:
10/10. The District helped me host the best birthday brunch ever!
Long Review:
The District helped me host the best birthday brunch I could have asked for. Justyn was incredibly helpful in organizing everything beforehand and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We had a party of 30 people, which can easily get chaotic, but everything went perfectly.
Originally we planned to sit on the patio, and they had it ready for us. Because of the unexpected winds, they also prepared an indoor space just in case—and thankfully they did, because the wind ended up being too strong. The transition inside was seamless and we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
The staff during the event were amazing. Alison made sure there was never an empty glass during bottomless, the food came out quickly and smoothly even with such a large group, and the overall atmosphere was incredible. The food itself was great American brunch classics, and for bottomless they brought multiple juice options and had the table set up with bottles, juices, and water evenly distributed so everything felt organized and easy.
What I appreciated most was that I never once had to worry about my guests. I was able to actually enjoy my birthday brunch instead of managing things, which meant a lot. After brunch our party continued into the afternoon with pool and drinks, and that transition was just as smooth. The vibes were so good that honestly none of us wanted to leave.
They were also kind enough to keep our cake in the fridge and even brought it out with the candles lit for us, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Absolutely no complaints. If I could host every brunch event here for the rest of my life, I would. Truly 10/10 for the staff, the location, the atmosphere, and the overall experience.“

“Parking at a nearby structure with first 3 hours free. Short walk, 5 min wait for a table and excellent options for food and beverage. The service was a little slow but it was a crowded Sat night over Memorial Day weekend. Would definitely enjoy a meal here again.“
