Michael our server came out and created us, by saying it was so nice to see you here again. Michael remember our drink order and promtly brought it out to us. The job Michael did from start to finish was amazing. From getting our order out on time and the desert was perfect for my granddaughter Breanna and my wife's as well. Always asking if everything came out right and if we needed anything else. What a perfect evening and servers like Michael make us want to eat here often. “This is a surprisingly nice restaurant inside Nordstrom's. The server was excellent. We were not rushed but he appeared the moment we needed something. The food was very good. I have had the burger and another time, the fried chicken sandwich. My friends had the salad nicoise which was delicious and filling. For the evening, the cocktails are good as well. The window seating is lovely since until the weather is warm enough for their terrace seating. Take the elevator to the 5th floor, and you won't be tempted by the January sales.“

Our waitress was Ari. She was fantastic. Truly brightened up my day. Very cute and bubbly person with a contagious energy to her.

She recommended the steak sandwich, the blackened Ahi sandwich and the Red Ale. All solid choices.

Service was prompt food was good, but I would say one thing I would like to see is more value from the menu - in terms of sides and such. Feels like chips + a sandwich for 16-17 bucks is a bit much. Especially for the portions.

Otherwise, Ari made the visit incredibly pleasant and enjoyable and was prompt and attentive at every turn.“

“Had a great family dinner at CPK in Brea Mall. We ordered both pasta and pizza, and everything was excellent. The pasta was full of flavor, and they were happy to add plenty of Parmesan on top. The pizza was the highlight: high-quality toppings on a perfectly crispy crust. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and quick. A great spot for a family meal. We'll definitely be back!“

“Michelin-Level Experience at Outback Prices The Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda is a hidden gem. I was expecting something entirely different — and was pleasantly surprised in the best possible way. We started with the smashed potatoes and endive salad, which made for perfect appetizers: light enough not to spoil our appetite, yet full of flavor to whet it. The portions were ideal for sharing with my wife. For our main courses, we ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Wagyu burger, and my wife went with the tempura fish and chips. I’m not sure how they did it, but every bite was incredibly well-balanced. The fish had a crispy exterior, just the right touch of Maldon salt, and a beautifully firm, flaky interior. The tartar sauce was exceptional — rich, creamy, and unlike any I’ve had before. The burger was a standout. Each ingredient was distinct and purposeful — no unnecessary fillers. Every component worked in harmony to deliver deep, layered flavors in every bite. We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was beautifully presented. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the perfectly burnt top paired wonderfully with the sweet berry compote. A special treat was getting to meet the head chef. What a pleasant surprise. He shared the story behind one of his dishes and mentioned that every item on the menu has its own story and purpose. That passion really comes through in the food. I’ve dined at many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say the quality here rivals places charging $150–$200 per plate. The value is extraordinary for the caliber of cuisine offered. This is a truly special hidden gem — perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends or an intimate dinner date. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!“

Went several times as a better choice than hotel restaurants. They seem to make their own battered delicious sides - the batter is light and tasty and well flavoured.

It's a bar so has alcoholic drinks. They are... okay? I'd maybe be more impressed if I was more of a beer person, as they have a decently wide selection. They have passable wine. I didn't think much of their margaritas, though I did like that they did a variety of flavours as a flight.“

“Restaurant with good service and a relaxing atmosphere. However definitely cozy as tables are all close together and was a bit loud when it was packed on a weekend night. Also it was warm on a warm day as their AC was not working optimally.

Enjoyed the seafood/uni risotto, mushroom salad, uni spaghetti. The chicken karaage was ok. The curry is on the side. Spicy mussels were very seasoned.
Panna Cotta had a creamy, semi- bouncy texture. The bread pudding was more pudding like with a very sweet sauce on it. Desserts definitely can be shared.“

“Had lunch today at RKR (Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch after seeing the article in the Daily Bulletin. The lovely Mrs. C and I both had the hangar steak with roasted brussels sprouts and fries. I opted to have the fries upgraded to the truffle parmesan version. As with our previous visit, the food was excellent. The brussels sprouts were roasted with a great char and were tender instead of mushy or overly crispy. The parmesan truffle fries had finely shredded chesses and flecks of truffle evenly coating the fries. The last time I had truffle fries in a restaurant they had the parmesan but with a drizzle of truffle oil. This was a very pleasant surprise. The steak was sliced with a light peppercorn sauce which did not overpower the steak but added to it. Of course, the restaurant is a teaching venue with students from the Collins School of Hospitality so service was attentive and excellent. To our meal we each had a glass of a Syrah blend wine and we shared an apple crumble dessert with Fosselman's vanilla ice cream (yummy). The dining room overlooking the hills of Cal Poly with the 57 freeway barely visible in the distance was, as always, part of the appeal of this location. Price for our meal (before tip) was $91. A very good value for the quality of food and experience. I'm sure we'll be back soon.“

Very local coded, decent small place but can get pretty hot under the weather. Homey and feels small but has pretty great deals with InKind.“

“I recently came to Oceans & Earth for one of my birthday dinners and had a really nice experience.

We were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation, but I did notice a sign outside stating that dinner is by reservation only, so I’d definitely recommend making one ahead of time rather than taking your chances like we did. 😅

For dinner, we ordered steak along with the mac & cheese and mushrooms for our sides. Everything was good, and neither of the sides disappointed. The mac & cheese was rich and comforting, while the mushrooms paired really well with the steak.

I didn’t order an alcoholic beverage this time, but I have to admit that some of the cocktails I saw coming from the bar looked pretty good! 🍸 Maybe next time.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with both traditional table seating and additional seating around the bar. Parking is also very convenient since Oceans & Earth is located in a larger shopping center with plenty of spaces available.

Overall, a good birthday dinner and a nice local option here in Yorba Linda. Good food, comfortable atmosphere, easy parking, and a menu that gives me a reason to come back and try a few more things. Just remember to make that dinner reservation! 😊“

“DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE! I had lunch here last week and I was thrown at how good the pork belly skewers and honey salmon bowl truly is. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is plenty of space and TVs to catch a game so you don’t have to be shoulder to shoulder during a big game.
