“The food was delicious!!! Classic diner burger and fries, but well done. Ingredients were fresh and it was made to order. Front cashier was very polite and helpful. The restaurant was very clean. Indoor lights are a bit bright, but you get used to it.“

“My wife and I eat at The Hat when we want a treat. She loves the pastrami sandwich and I usually get a burger of some kind. The only thing that is certain is we get an order of chili fries, which is HUGE! We never finish the entire order but it is tasty to try every time. “I usually enjoy the meals I have here, but yesterday I ordered a hamburger with mayonnaise and mustard. What I got instead was a hamburger with lots of ketchup - no mayonnaise or mustard in sight. The bun also had some soggy parts and I was sort of hoping it'd have leaf lettuce, rather than shredded.

Also, one of the reasons I like the place, is because they serve Pepsi drinks, which means MUG root beer - a drink I've been needing to have lately, since its been helping with my kidney health. But I was told that they had none, so that was a turn off.

The fries were fine though, and I did appreciate that they gave me a generous portion of ketchup, in a plastic cup, for them.“

I went with the Standard Burger and if you’ve ever wanted to taste what “done right” feels like, this is it. No filler. No BS. Just thick, juicy, high quality beef that slaps you with flavor and hugs you with every bite.

They’re not faking it with fluffy buns or sneaky toppings. This thing stands on flavor alone and it stands tall. Other customers go nuts for the Smokeshow and the peanut butter meets sriracha wildness of the SPBB, and honestly, I believe the hype. Those are next on my hit list as everyone around me was hyping it up.

We got the fries with the burger and these weren’t just big, they were borderline absurd in the best way. Crispy golden giants, made to share (but good luck with that).

Tried the chicken tenders for my daughter. She’s nine. She’s picky. She took one bite and said, “These are the best I’ve ever had.” She’s now making plans to come back with her cousins like it’s her mission.

There’s a little shop with plants, knickknacks, and merch you’ll end up buying because you want to take a piece of the vibe home. And the staff? On a different level. The owner stepped out to give my daughter a free chocolate ice cream just because it’s summer and “why not live a little?” I mean, who does that anymore?

No. It’s worth more than the hype. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to bring your friends, your family, your coworker who’s having a bad week, just so they can feel what you felt.

“I’ve been coming to Brea’s Best Burgers for a while now, and it’s one of my favorite local burger spots in Brea. As a vegetarian, finding a really good veggie burger can be tough, but their Garden Burger combo is my go-to every time. The burger is always fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying.

What also stands out is the friendly staff and great service. Everyone is welcoming and the food is prepared quickly. The place has a nice casual vibe that makes it easy to stop by with friends.

“We stopped by IHOP for a late-night dinner and were greeted promptly with no wait time—seated right away, which was a great start. Our server, Rosario, was very friendly and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu before taking our drink orders.

Our family ordered breakfast items, including omelets and the Split Decision plates. My wife’s Build Your Own Omelet came out missing a couple of ingredients, but impressively, the kitchen and Rosario caught the mistake before we even had a chance to say anything and fixed it right away.

I did end up grabbing condiments myself after asking, but Rosario appeared to be the only server managing five other tables and handling to-go orders—so it’s understandable. She definitely deserves some extra support, but she stayed friendly and professional throughout.

“i would consider this spot a hidden gem in brea! everything i tried with my friends was so delicious, ESPECIALLY the curry katsu plate. it’s such a simple dish but it was so warm and comforting, and paired nicely with the mac salad and veggies. i usually get the katsu sando here and i love it because it’s super saucy delicious paired with waffle fries! it was my first time trying yubu pockets and they were pretty good! my favorite was the bulgogi and cali roll flavors. the udon was a simple soup with katsu, but i would probably get a different flavor of it next time for more depth in the dish. all in all i love this place for a quick lunch before class. they have deals everyday for different dishes on the menu which is also super great!“

“Thank you to the closing crew that worked 5/23/25. Forgot that this location closed at 8pm and ordered a bunch of burgers around 7:40. Not only did they make some great burgers but they hooked it up and gave me some whopper patties and buns for my normal hamburgers I redeemed for just 125 points.
