“Absolutely love this place! Went there to celebrate my friend's birthday. Got there at 11am and had to wait 30 minutes because it is a popular place, but again, worth it. Staff is very friendly. Our waitress was super attentive without being hovering. My friend had a Chicken wrap and I had the Chicken Paninni on sourdough. I upgraded from the kettle chips to their small crock of French Onion soup. Both of our orders were delicious. We choose to sit outside in their patio. So, relaxing and a bit more quieter for us older folks who have trouble hearing. We even had a friendly blue bird visit our table. Very polite, didn't try to swipe our food like a seagull would.“

He is always accommodating and VERY customer-friendly! I enjoy our conversations when I’m sitting at the bar. He always has a smile on his face and he’s very down to earth. “Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “The manager knows my order from memory. I haven’t had an issue with the food, the staff, or the environment thus far. I’ve been coming here for a while now. The staff is always nice and informative. Restaurant is always clean without odor. Food is always good and fresh. They’re also willing to make small modifications to the food items. Sometimes it cost extra and sometimes it doesn’t. Those sweet potato’s are 🔥. Fresh juices are always good. Only I don’t like is the sodas mainly because I don’t like craft sodas from anywhere. I also don’t drink soda.“

First time was Valentine's Day meal that we loved so much that we took our college-age children and their significant others for a special birthday meal. They were impressed with the food, the presentation, the wine, the service, the view, all of it, and said they plan to also come back for special event meals. Hidden gem! Menu selections are creative, memorable, delicious and priced better than any other place around that serves food of this level. Service is friendly and attentive. Cal Poly Pomona students do the work at RKR, and it feels good to support the cause. Usually only open part of the year when college courses are in session, but we're excited to hear from our server that there are plans to expand service to summer also. A professor from the college was on hand to oversee the experience and was delightful & gracious to talk with and learn from (her knowledge of wine is extensive & informative).“

“We had dinner at Wistaria last night and the food was delicious (we had the beet and goat cheese salad and the trout almondine and salmon dishes). We had such a positive experience that we decided to make this our go-to restaurant whenever we are in the area. I actually decided to write this review because of the kind service--after I left. I was convinced that I had left my cell phone at the restaurant (my phone had died and my apple watch indicated that the phone was there), and the staff person who answered the phone kindly looked for it and then patiently explained that if the phone had died, my apple watch may be indicating its last known location, but not its present location. She was right, and I soon found my phone--with a completely dead battery. Nevertheless, I appreciated her taking the time to reassure me--despite how busy I know that staff can be at that restaurant. We had planned to return for the wonderful food, but now we will definitely be returning for the delicious food, charming atmosphere, and more-than-helpful service!“
