“Vegan items have the extra challenge of tasting and looking like its non-vegan counterpart, and most don't hit the mark. I was hesitant to try vegan food, but I loved Green Green Trees! Expect fresh food that's true to Taiwanese flavors. I think it was the best Taiwanese bento I've tried in the 626 so far, since a lot of them tend to be greasy, cheap, and undercooked. Tried the lions mane mushroom bento, pudding, and the sweet and sour "chicken" bento. The chicken and mushrooms was really good! And although the vegetables were just steamed with minimal seasoning, the entrees were layered with flavor. I didn't mind-- I felt that it made the meal healthy and balanced. The pudding was also "eggy" and sweet. Altho the color looks a little different than most puddings, it's understandable since it is a vegan dessert (and it was good)! It's evident that the owner is passionate about healthy and delicious cooking. From the fork-tender food to the quality of ingredients used, Green Green Trees hits all the marks: generously nutritious, homely, and delicious meals that will ALSO impress your traditionalist immigrant parents. While the owner is retiring soon, I hope that the rebrand to this business goes well! 加油!”

Things amiss are easily fixable: owner & staff stepped in, generously compensated and cared for us. The food is well worth it and we will return again & again.”

“I was here yesterday while shopping at Tokyo Central. The boba was pretty OK, but the kitties were really cute. I think the store owner missed an opportunity. This place should be called BOBA CATT or BOBA CAT-FE. The pet store side had plenty of variety of treats for doggies too. Oh, you need to make a donation in order to go play with the cats, who are all up for adoption.”

“The food is amazing for a very reasonable price, but I think the service differs depending on who's working. The first time I came with my Latina friend and the staff person also appeared to be Latina (she was speaking Spanish to some other customers while we were there); she noticeably treated my friend preferentially and was short with me when I asked questions about the menu and how to order since it was my first time, which ended up making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Then when I tried to pay, my payment failed the first time so she told me to insert my card again, but she "helped" by tapping on the screen for me and selecting the highest tip for herself without giving me a choice. I told her that wasn't the tip option I wanted to select but she gave me a dirty look and told me I couldn't go back, so I just had to pay the amount she selected or risk making a big fuss. Then she didn't offer me a receipt, which I think is just bad service considering she overcharged me, but maybe it's because she didn't want me to find out her name (since the server name is usually printed on your receipt). When our food came out, my friend's meal was neatly packaged so that she could take it to go, but my poke bowl didn't have a lid on it even though I was also taking it to go, and I had to ask for one, which she also treated like I was being an inconvenience. It was a really off-putting experience.My second time here, I came back with a different friend and ordered the exact same thing because the food quality was great, it was just the service that sucked, so I figured I'd give the place a second chance. Thankfully my second time was a lot better. The server (Michelle, based on my receipt) was very sweet and I didn't experience any problems. So I will probably keep eating here in the future, but I would not like to encounter the rude staff person from my first time again.”

Everything was delicious, the soup had lots of seafood and good flavor, the drunken noodle had lots of Thai basil. I ended up getting a Thai tea to go. “This is probably my favorite AYCE sushi restaurant in the entire SGV. I've been coming here for years, and the place is always on point. Big portions per roll. The fish is fresh and really good. I'm not really an imitation crab guy but they have plenty of rolls that don't have that and plenty that do if you are into that. One roll I highly recommend is the Kardashian Roll if you like spicy tuna like me. Also if you like to have a good time like me ask for the giant bottle of kikusui sake. Lol.”

They have different shapes of noodles from thick round to thin round to thinnest round to angel hair to wide flat, thin wide,chives flat or triangle noodle. So when you order your soup, be ready to choose your favorite noodle. Overall,The restaurant is very clean. There are plenty of parking spots, so there is no problem at all. The service was outstanding.Shout out to Clara who was our hostess. She explained the menu thoroughly. she also came to our table several times to check on us and to change the water carafe before we asked. The menu was very tempting , so we ordered many delicious dishes. Our meal was as follows; -Pork pan fried; it was absolutely one of the top pork pan fried I have ever tried.It was very juicy and flavorful. It is a must try one. -Kelp and Smashed cucumber. Both of them was really irresistible -Chicken Gizzards. It is not a very simple dish as you imagine. The taste was incredible, juicy and tender. -Veggie noodle soup which has mushrooms, silken tofu& bok choy with moderate spice. The amount was humongous. I chose the wide flat noodles. My goodness! The fresh noodles with the vegetables and some cilantro on the top with a light kick from the spice complement the soup.It was heavenly delicious! My daughter got their famous beef Lan noodles and she enjoyed it too. We also order beef Chinese burger to go. It was very tasty and flavorful. This one of the BEST noodle place, specially their comfort and savory food. It is a great place to try and hangout with friends or family and enjoy every single bite of their dishes.”
