“I phoned in a last-minute order for a half-sheet party tray of assorted baklava, and I'm delighted they could accommodate it. Their pastries are fantastic, especially the baklava - incredibly flakey, crispy, and deliciously sticky. During pickup, they offered to add pistachios on top, and they were generously applied. “Cute breakfast cafe space in a small stripmall with amazing friendly service. Their café de olla and chocolate chunk cookie hits the spot! Probably the best cookie in town for people prefer soft centers (not cookie dough soft) and crispy edges. We also enjoyed their Cubano and breakfast sandwich with candied bacon. Great option for grab n' go or pitstop for a recharge.“
“I am sooo glad I found Sugar Mamas to make the cake for my daughter's 18th birthday. It was beautifully decorated and more importantly.... delicious! We did taste testing of their cupcakes to figure out the flavors for our cake and honestly, you cannot go wrong with any of them. They were really accommodating and their service is really good. We chose a naked cake and gave them a picture of the design together with the artificial flowers to use. And I couldn't be happier with the result. “I used Pin Up Cakes for my wedding and loved how my cake turned out! Everything was done online and was super easy. I sent them inspiration pictures of what I wanted and for how many people. I wanted a smaller cake for just me, my husband and our wedding party as we were doing sheet cake for the guests. After sending the pictures, they gave me different options and broke it down by how much each would cost. I loved that they did that!Since I wanted a 2 tier cake, but it was only for 12 people, they gave me the option to make the top tier out of styrofoam to cut costs! They also gave me options on if I wanted them to make flowers out of fondant, or I could bring them flowers and they would put it on, or I could have my florist do it at the venue. This also helped cut cost.I ended up with a strawberry cake with chocolate frosting and it was so delicious! I’m not a big fondant person so I was worried I wasn’t going to like that part, but it was honestly so thin and not super sweet which I was very happy about.“

“I've passed this location several times in the past, but it was always closed and out of business. I recently saw a neon "Open" sign so I decided to stop by. Imagine my surprise to discover that it's a Duke's Bakery location! Nothing indicated that it was Duke's except for a little logo sign on the bottom corner of their window. The sign above their shop is a generic "Bakery" sign in yellow. The paper sign on the door says they are closed on Sundays.I went in around 10:00 am and was hoping for a bunch of fresh bread smells wafting at me, but there was none. It actually looked quite sad upon entry. There were mostly empty shelves surrounding the shop, there were a few breads in the center, with only about 2 - 3 loafs per flavor. Not sure what they would do if they get more customers like me who buy a bunch of breads at once...do they close once they run out of inventory? The prices are higher than other Asian bakeries, but the size of the breads are really generous and I really love how creative they get with their flavors. I did pick up a few items, and it was hit or miss with the freshness. While most were soft and yummy, a couple were stale. I don't think they bake in house, since I went early in the morning and none of their items were warm or had condensation, and I don't know how long they keep their breads out, or maybe they drive it over from another Duke's location?I tried to ask the lady working there when the shop opened but she didn't speak English so we just kept our communication to smiles. Overall, this is an awesome bakery for yummy breads - every one I've tried is really good! Just cross your fingers that you get fresh ones.“

“When I want a nice cup of coffee in the Arcadia area, this is my go-to 85c. I like that I can customize the sweetness in the sea salt coffee. I haven't found another coffee place nearby that has better-tasting coffee. Today I went to redeem their Feb offer of free bread when buying a coffee. I enjoyed both.“
“I love coming here! The breads are delicious, though some of them are on the smaller side (if you go to other bakeries, they're usually bigger for comparable prices). But mostly I'm crazy about the drinks, haha. I'm obsessed w their hot jasmine green tea & oolong milk tea, they're my perfect cold weather comfort drinks. The wait time for the drinks is always pretty long, though (expect 15-20 min) and sometimes I question the music they're playing bc it doesn't really give "café" vibes lmao“

“This bakery has the freshest breads, cookies, and pastries. On the left-hand side is a coffee service with a variety of specialty beverages. Since the last time I was here, it somehow seemed to have expanded, yet the location had not changed. They must have remodeled the interior and added seating. I also noticed an area on the counter for pre-order pickups. They are also launching an app for customer loyalty rewards. Looks like I have been missing out on some good deals. I didn't mind waiting in the regular line. They have four cashiers that take the next customer, this really helped move the line along. I simply placed some muffins and biscottis on the counter, and selected two cakes. The first was a 10" round Lemon cake, the second was a rectangular Cheesecake. It was not easy to narrow it down to these two when Red Velvet, Chocolate, Tiramisu, and Strawberry Cream was available. Check them out for any occasion, your family and friends will be pleasantly surprised. Don't forget to tell 'em that Rosemary sent ya!“
