Their menu highlights the rich, aromatic broths and perfectly cooked noodles that define authentic pho. I had a Charbroiled chicken vermicelli x hot tea. I liked the freshness and flavor of their food. Similarly, their hot tea was a perfect match.

Service is spot on. Staff are cordial and professional. Prices are competitive and affordable. Atmosphere is relaxing with spacious dining tables and seats. Overall, it’s a nice spot to eat good.“

“This review is based on my first experience with the restaurant. Food was a hit with our guests. I ordered the Todo Fiesta package and Mama Chit package for about 15 people and it was just right, a few people were still able to take home some food. Crispy pata, daing na bangus, and sinigang were the top favorites but everything else was good, too. My only suggestion would be to pre-cut the pata? Service was excellent, I didn't catch his name but the young man who greeted me was professional, had clear communication skils, and was very helpful. I only picked up but from what I saw of the interior, it's your typical no-frills Filipino restaurant. Don't be like me; call to order ahead for pick up and not through delivery apps! The food was ready for pick up well within the estimated range.“

“Hungry Bird is new in town, and I’m lucky enough to live just a few blocks away. This was my first visit, and I loved it! Everything looked and tasted delicious. They have chicken, beef, seafood, and pork skewers, plus noodles and sushi rolls. I came for the skewers, and I’d definitely come back to try more.

“Pretty solid spot for a quick meal. Signature potato noodles were chewy with that numbing spicy broth, I kept fishing out the potato slices. Added a few fried skewers on the side, crunchy and salty, and they pack everything neatly for pickup, tbh that helps.“

“Came to Sushi Story and we were seriously amazed! The fish was incredibly fresh, and every piece of nigiri, roll, and sashimi was HUGE! They also have wide selection of sake and Japanese beer. Everything was so satisfying, and they even have claw machines, which made the whole experience even more fun!

Overall, such a great spot, we had so much fun and absolutely loved it. Definitely coming back!

“Walked in for lunch without any expectations only to be surprised at how good it was. Very solid noodles and large portions that looked like a lot but went down too fast. The guy behind us cleaned off his plate in under 5 mins. I'd would 100% recommend this spot.“

“Savory Corner is the real deal. Free-range chicken is silky, tender, and full of flavor. Rice is fragrant and not greasy. Their beef stew noodle soup is also incredible — rich broth, melt-in-your-mouth beef.

Service is superb. The staff remembers us regulars and always surprises us with free herbal drinks. Makes you feel like family.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Always planning my next visit though we have to drive from West Hollywood. It was so addicting that I must try to eat there every weekend.

“Thai food is a hit or miss ,and some better than others. So far Lucky Thai has been better than most, with a few drawbacks when then run out of product. All food is made fresh from my trips here. This establishment is inside the 168 Market and is very simple, small seating to eat there or you can have take out. Service takes a little time for prep in most cases, but worth the wait.“

Came to Xibei in Arcadia with a bunch of friends on a Thursday night, and this place honestly exceeded my expectations. I made a reservation ahead of time and also reserved a whole Peking duck, which is $98.

Xibei is located right next to Haidilao Hot Pot, but once you step inside, the restaurant has a completely different feel. The interior is beautiful, modern, and upscale with a fine dining vibe. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and shown to our table, and the service throughout the night was phenomenal. The staff were attentive, professional, and matched the higher-end atmosphere of the restaurant.

For dinner, we decided to order the $118 combo, which ended up being a great deal. It came with stir-fried broccoli, sweet and sour ribs, stir-fried peppered beef, steamed shrimp with garlic and vermicelli, and the Millet Sticky Rice dessert with floral honey syrup.

I honestly think the combo alone could easily feed 4 to 6 people, especially if you’re planning to order a few additional dishes. We definitely ordered with our eyes because on top of the combo and Peking duck, we added the dry pot cauliflower with pork, braised pork belly, eggplant with garlic sauce, and ma la chicken. Needless to say, we ended up with a lot of leftovers.

All of the dishes were exceptional, but the dry pot cauliflower with pork was one of the biggest surprises of the night. It was so flavorful that it actually made the stir-fried broccoli seem a little boring in comparison. Our least favorite dishes were probably the ma la chicken and stir-fried broccoli, but honestly, they weren’t bad at all. The other dishes were just that much better.

Of course, the main event was the whole Peking duck. The duck took a while to come out and arrived about 45 minutes after we had already started eating our first entree. By then, we had already eaten so much that we were getting full. If you’re ordering the duck, definitely pace yourself and save some room.

Once it arrived, though, it was worth the wait. I’ve had Peking duck at Ji Rong before, and I personally thought Xibei’s was better. The skin had a great crispiness, while the duck meat underneath stayed moist and wasn’t dry. I also really liked the thinner wraps because they didn’t overpower the duck and allowed you to taste more of the meat and crispy skin with each bite.

At $98 for a whole duck, it’s definitely a splurge, but it’s meant to be shared and I thought the quality delivered. If Peking duck is one of the main reasons you’re coming, I would recommend reserving one ahead of time.

The ambiance was another highlight. The high-end modern decor makes this place feel nice enough for a date night, birthday, celebration, or business dinner, while still being comfortable for a large group of friends sharing dishes family style.

Parking was also surprisingly easy for Arcadia. There’s free parking in the main lot as well as underground parking.

Overall, Xibei was a great experience from the food to the phenomenal service and beautiful ambiance. My biggest advice is don’t order with your eyes like we did! The $118 combo can easily feed 4 to 6 people, and if you’re adding the whole Peking duck, you really don’t need to go crazy ordering additional dishes.

The Peking duck alone gives me a reason to come back. Crispy skin, moist duck, thin wraps, and personally better than Ji Rong for me. Add in the excellent dishes and service, and Xibei is definitely a great addition to the Arcadia dining scene.“

“the restaurant is super clean. If you show up thinking you're going to order Orange chicken, Broccoli beef, kung pao chicken or any of that chinese fast food then this is not the place for you. BUT if you're looking for some delicious mouth watering dumplings cooked in various forms then you're at the CORRECT place. I brought my mom here and we tried the pork chive regular dumplings, the pan fried beef and cumin dumplings and the regular fried rice. All of it was delicious. Also they give you a complimentary bowl of egg drop corn soup. NOT a small bowl but a good size portion, it was GOOOOOD. I will definitely be back with the rest of the family and I want to try the beef noodle soup. DON'T fall asleep on the fried rice.“

The chicken skin has a lovely, subtle gelatinous quality, and when you pair it with the fragrant rice and the incredible house-made chili and ginger scallion sauces… it’s just perfection. They were so polite, kind and attentive. The food came out quickly and was stunning. We got shredded pork rolls that were good. The beef soup with yellow noodles was really good and delicious. Our absolute favorite was the lemon grass chicken. It was so flavorful and had a little kick to it. The rice was perfect and went well with the chicken. I can’t wait to get this again. “Thank God for Prince Dumplings. Ever since the Mandarin Noodle House in Monterey Park closed down, I’ve been searching for a decent beef noodle soup to scratch my itch and while I’ve found a few pretty good places in the SGV, Prince Dumpling has the beef noodle soup and so much more. Literally everything I’ve had on their menu is delicious. I can’t think of a single dish or appetizer I tried that didn’t blow me away. I’m so thankful I found this place and my family is too. When you find a restaurant you can tell really cares about their craft, you can immediately sense and taste it. This is one of those rare gems.“

“Was at Santa Anita Mall and it was dinner time. Had seen Marugame Udon many times, but had never tried it until today. Tried the new Bolongese Udon with a potato croquette and sweet potato tempura. Ambience is great and the wall artwork is fabulous. Noodles were fresh and bowl was warmed before plating. I ordered a large size and was not disappointed. Free toppings were nice: tempura flakes, wake, cilantro, grunions. Tempura was nice and crispy. Potato croquet was good but a bit too sweet for my liking. Grabbed a Calamansi Ade to drink; nice Calamansi flavor and not overly sweet. Tempura dipping sauce was excellent. Appreciate the Togarashi and chili oil as well if you want a bit of spice. Free water cups also appreciated.

For the bolognese, please don’t think this will be similar to an Italian restaurant; this is the Japanese riff on bolognese. A boiled egg may seem odd at first, but it gives the dish a wonderful creamy texture when mixed with the cheese. The ground meat rounded out the dish well. Cilantro and togarashi paired really well by providing freshness and a hint of spice (I love spicy stuff). While this dish will not be for everyone, I’d encourage people to try it, as it is quite filling and really good for what it is. If you’ve had Japanese pasta before, you’ll know.

Will be coming back to try other Udon options and tempura. Udon is great comfort food, and Marugame does it well!“

“A nice little.joint with some of everyone's favorite Chinese foods, noodles, knife cut noodles, dumplings wontons etc. I liked the fried tofu and wontons. Portions are hefty.

Also enjoyed their macaroon ice creams.

“I like this place. $13.99 per pound of food. You get to choose all your toppings. I recommend going heavy on the meats and light on the carbohydrates. That’ll be the best bang for the buck. They also have frog meat if that’s your lingo. I tried their beef bone broth and I like it a lot. I’d come back again.

“This little mom-and-pop noodle shop was such a great find! We stumbled in right around 8:30 PM, just before they closed, and ended up being the last ones there.
​Their noodles were honestly delicious. I mean, my nephew, who is notoriously picky, even complimented the shrimp noodle! The dandan noodles were a touch too salty for my personal taste, but everyone else absolutely loved them.
