“Excellent food and great service. Family owned and my favorite local eatery. Please try it.“

“Food is delicious and fragrant. Chili oil is authentic and actually has spice and taste, not that mild stuff other places have. The beef in the fried noodle dish is tender and delicious, the sauce is fragrant. Cats ear noodle did take a longer time to make, but it's all hand made. Can't complain.
My husband got the lamb organ soup and the broth is milky white. The soup is extremely clear tasting and not gamey. Hand pulled noodle texture is on point. Not too soft, chewy.
Speciality fried pork was great and had that authentic north west vinegar sauce and taste.
There was a super annoying customer last night and the staff handled the situation very well. My husband was annoyed for the staff. Props to the restaurant. 10/10.
If you're dining in for the first time:
-Staff does not speak English, do some research on Xian cuisine and checkout their menu beforehand so you understand what dishes to expect
-They accept cash
-Water is self service
-Staff is not intentionally being rude, there's a cultural difference between Chinese and western dining service
-They don't bring utensils out because they're already at your table
-If you have any type of food allergies or dietary restrictions it's up to YOU to figure it out and not the staff“

“Thank God for Prince Dumplings. Ever since the Mandarin Noodle House in Monterey Park closed down, I’ve been searching for a decent beef noodle soup to scratch my itch and while I’ve found a few pretty good places in the SGV, Prince Dumpling has the beef noodle soup and so much more. Literally everything I’ve had on their menu is delicious. I can’t think of a single dish or appetizer I tried that didn’t blow me away. I’m so thankful I found this place and my family is too. When you find a restaurant you can tell really cares about their craft, you can immediately sense and taste it. This is one of those rare gems.“

“Their food is amazing. It’s so delicious!!Everything I tried has not disappointed me.Their fries and wings had so much flavor and were crispy. The pho soup was just perfect that you didn’t even have to add anything else to give it flavor so you can enjoy it just like that.“

“Good food , good place, good price 。“
“the best food I've had in LA is also the cheapest. thank goodness for this lovely couple. They have made-to-order plates and choose-your-items buffet. Probably the most amount of food you'd ever get for the price (buffet). I feel like I'm getting closer to Taiwan! :)
pork (belly?) and curry chicken were amazing!
if this kind of place doesn't exist in San Jose / south SF Bay / Santa Cruz, then I'm not going!“

“Recently discovered a new Chinese restaurant, Spring Dumplings, and I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it is!
The food quality is excellent—not necessarily the very best Chinese food I’ve had, but for the price, I think most people will find it more than satisfying. We ordered the Leek Pocket, Fried Sauce Noodle, Mixed Sauce Noodle with Scallion Oil & Wonton Combo, Pan-Fried Leek with Pork Dumplings, and Pan-Fried Bok Choy with Pork Dumplings. Everything came out to about $70, which I think is a great value for a family meal.
The noodles are on the softer side and not as chewy as some other places, but I actually found them quite delicious. My boys loved the scallion noodles and dumplings, while my wife really enjoyed the leek pocket and wonton soup.
Overall, I highly recommend Spring Dumplings if you’re looking for affordable, comforting Chinese food that doesn’t break the bank. Definitely worth checking out!“

“The service here was pretty nice, and I love how new the restaurant looks. The food was also pretty good too. My family loved it. However, the porridge we ordered was a little watery, but everything else was so tasty and we'll never forget our last dinner meal around the L.A county area!“

“Food is delicious and big portions lots of food I like it 👍“
“Beef Chow Fun ($11) + $4 extra beef. Thats enough food for 2 hearty meals. Add a little chili oil and 🔥🔥🔥
Even without the extra beef, it's still two meals. Just have to ration the beef.
Best cheap eats when they have it. Hours and availability are weird. Mainly a breakfast lunch place. I've been before and they ran out of noodles.“

“Great casual dining spot for family meals. We came with our two young kids and the team treated us wonderfully. They brought kid‑friendly meals out fast so the little ones would not get restless. Menu covers something for every age, from hearty main courses to tasty appetizers. All ingredients tasted fresh. The dining area is spotlessly clean, restrooms well‑maintained. Servers are patient and quick to refill drinks. Portions are big enough for leftovers. Prices are fair for family dining. We enjoyed our time so much and will definitely return for our next family night out.“

“Years ago my mom randomly came to this store after a gig in the area, and she was shocked by how good it was.
We happened to be in the area again, and my mom INSISTED on coming here. We ordered number 1 and some cucumbers. Clean, rich flavors. We got mild, and while there’s a kick it isn’t overwhelming. Numbing spice though!
Cucumbers were fresh, salty and rich on the outside and crisp.
Unassuming interior, delicious meal.“

“Consistently the best roast duck (not to be confused with Peking duck) even in SGV (San Gabriel Valley). Always juicy, tender, and amazingly tasty. We only take out from this store, but we do it regularly. I have no idea what the service is like or the physical plant, as my wife is always the one to go in to get the duck. Oh, the chicken chow fun dry is also consistently tasty, generous, with tender pieces of chicken. I don't know if chicken chow fun is even on the menu. Most places only list beef chow fun, but if you ask for chicken at Sam Woo, you get a very tasty dish.“

“Decided to try this new noodle house and absolutely loved it!
The restaurant is spacious, clean, and has plenty of seating. The staff were friendly, and the menu had a great variety of options. The prices are surprisingly affordable compared to other noodle shops in the area. They do prefer cash.
I ordered the fish soup noodles, and my husband had the house special dry noodles (I think that’s what it was called). Both were delicious, especially for the price. If I remember correctly, each bowl was under $12. Definitely worth checking out!“

“Love grabbing an early bite here with my family. Food has the right amount of flavor, always fresh. So many great dishes to choose from. I usually go around 9am when the cook has more options available. If you go later on in day there’s always a wait.“

“Had a yummy dinner with great service in a lovely setting. We love the hot and sour soup here and the lemon yuzu scallops are my absolute favorite! Love the beef rolls and the cauliflower dish too. Truffle xiao long bao are so fragrant and yummy! Everything is always delicious. The sticky rice drinks are so good too! One of my fav toppings anywhere! Always a delicious meal.“
