“Good Alley is a welcome addition to the area for authentic dumplings! If you're craving traditional Xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), this place is an excellent choice. As someone with high standards for soup dumplings, my all-time favorites are Ma Ma Lu and Thumbling in West Covina. I’d say the soup dumplings here are slightly better than Thumbling's, with fresh, high quality ingredients and a rich, flavorful broth. In addition to the soup dumplings, the Beef Rolls and Sichuan Dan Dan noodles are fantastic and worth trying.

I’m deducting one star for the price-to-portion ratio. The portions are small, and the prices are on the higher side, so you may feel like the value isn't quite there. However, the pricing is still more reasonable than Ding Tai Fung, so it balances out a bit.

Quick tips: This place gets packed during lunch and dinner hours. Use the tablet at the entrance to sign up for a table. Be prepared for a potentially long wait.
You can scan a QR code on your table to start ordering on your phone, but payments can't be made directly via the QR code. To finalize your bill, you'll need to review it on the tablet and confirm the total with tips included. When the server brings the tablet for you to pay, ensure you don’t tip twice. “The price of the meal is reasonable, and each noodle dish tastes authentic. The sesame sauce of the miscellaneous sauce noodles is thick. I especially recommend the beef burrito, which has a lot of beef and is fragrant. The fried pork buns are very suitable for takeout.“

“This unassuming restaurant in the entrance of a supermarket is a hidden gem. Found it looking for Bo Luc Lac in the LA area and found it via Instagram review than made me want to drive all the way from Long Beach and I was not disappointed, as they serve one of the better Luc Lac, tender and well balanced on sauce and pepper. Their medium is more well done than medium so adapt your request based on that.The rest of the dishes are also very well executed, fresh and flavorful. The service is efficient and friendly while attentive.Well worth a trip if you Are not close, you will not be disappointed.

“LOVEDDDD the red chili oil wontons! LOVED. I always try this dish where restaurants serve it in hopes of finding the ONE style I like - here it’s very close to the Din Tai Fung style with less sugar and a better price. They also use a good handmade wonton with delicious filling. A lot of places mess up on their use of wontons and sauce.

LOVED the lamb noodle soup!! I generally love lamb across the board, and they do it really well here - clear broth style, hand made noodles, no gamey taste/smell (so my mom says as she can be more sensitive to it). Greaaat price.“

“Loved their Hakata ramen. The broth is super tasty. Their seared pork belly is yummy too. Service is good and love that you can customize the ramen which make it very easy with picky eaters. The only thing can do better is their air conditioning is quite weak. It's not easy to eat hot ramen when it is so warm inside.“

“I've been here a few times and I don't have any negative things about this place, the food is great, the service is okay even though the place was full of people and they still can serve you with a good attitude. I highly recommend it ?“

“I used to come on a regular basis with the old ownership back in the 90s and 2000s when it was real halal with more staff. It had since changed owners over time, and expect that things are different now.

I tried lunching here with family last weekend and they had some of the good dishes that we're still noteworthy.
Bread/ onion/sesame n beef onion are fantastic and I'd say same or better than the past. The hot pot soup with cabbage is exactly the way I remember it tastes and my family loves it.

The cold noodles are completely different from the old management but not in a bad way, just a different style and flavoring.

The only bad thing is, the service is super slow, one waitress n one cook, so speed is not like it was before. The waitress is nice but the wait time needs to be vastly improved for serving food. Patrons we're starting conversations with each other about the wait time of food.... So I think Ill come back here on an off time or get take out.

“Consistently the best roast duck (not to be confused with Peking duck) even in SGV (San Gabriel Valley). Always juicy, tender, and amazingly tasty. We only take out from this store, but we do it regularly. I have no idea what the service is like or the physical plant, as my wife is always the one to go in to get the duck. Oh, the chicken chow fun dry is also consistently tasty, generous, with tender pieces of chicken. I don't know if chicken chow fun is even on the menu. Most places only list beef chow fun, but if you ask for chicken at Sam Woo, you get a very tasty dish.“

“One of the local spots for noodle soup! All sorts of combinations. The infamous house special noodles, your choice wet or dry. Pick the type of noodles you fancy. Other well known is their fried dough with eggs, omelette typed, served with chopped onions and salted/fermented dry radish bits. The hot chili/satay sauce is so good to go along with any of the noodle dishes.
