“My daughter and I went to Kopan for the 1st time. Let me tell you, what a wonderful experience we had. The food was excellent , we had a variety of dishes including sashimi. Our waitress was great, she was funny and recommended a the Plum Sake.

“Came to Sushi Story and we were seriously amazed! The fish was incredibly fresh, and every piece of nigiri, roll, and sashimi was HUGE! They also have wide selection of sake and Japanese beer. Everything was so satisfying, and they even have claw machines, which made the whole experience even more fun!

Overall, such a great spot, we had so much fun and absolutely loved it. Definitely coming back!

“This may be one of the best sushi deals in Southern California. I know that once the word is out that it’ll be harder to get in, but they deserve the recognition.“

“I recently tried Koki Ku Sushi, a newer Japanese restaurant in Duarte, and came away pleasantly surprised.

I stopped by for their lunch special and found the service attentive and welcoming throughout the meal. The 5-piece chef's choice premium nigiri was fresh and enjoyable, with each piece offering a nice variety of flavors.

I also ordered the Salmon Teriyaki with Spicy Tuna Roll combo. The teriyaki salmon was flavorful, although the slices were a bit thinner compared to what I've had at other sushi spots. The spicy tuna roll was generously portioned and filling enough to make for a satisfying lunch.

The restaurant itself has a clean, modern design and is conveniently located in the Target plaza, where parking is plentiful and easy. Overall, Koki Ku Sushi is a nice addition to the Duarte dining scene, and I'll be back to try more items from their menu.“

The nigiri was a standout, with perfectly seasoned rice and melt-in-your-mouth fish. Service was impeccable; the staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They even made excellent recommendations based on my preferences. One thing to note: Fillet doesn’t have a liquor license yet, so if you’re someone who enjoys pairing sushi with sake or wine, this might be a consideration. They said it’s coming soon, I can’t wait to come back here again.“

Forget the sushi rules , in order to understand flavors taste and wonderful staff.. most beautiful people's taking care of each one of you. Now sushi chefs by far an experience worth to be enjoy.

“I was literally surprised that the place was empty when we went! It was my first time there, and I’m so glad we decided to give it a try. “Came here based on recommendations from our friends and it did not disappoint. We ordered the sushi boat for 2 which came with thick cuts of sashimi, deep fried soft shelled crab, shrimp and veggie tempura, fried chicken, and teriyaki (we got the beef and chicken mix). There was so much food it was probably enough to serve 4 people!

They offer miso soup and edamame for the table when you get seated. The restaurant itself is pretty small but we came for a late dinner on Fri and was seated immediately. Sashimi is very fresh and portions were generous. Our friends really recommend the chirashi bowl so that’s what we’re gonna get next time we’re back. What a hidden gem of a restaurant! :)“

My wife is tough on ramen rating, and she said this was the best. She got the tonkatsu and I got the miso ramen. Great place for date night! Yummy and my compliments to the chefs!“

“My husband and daughter love this restaurant for its AYCE sushi. It used to be Kabuki before the restaurant relocated, and it's great to see people still flocking here. The food is consistently good, and the portion sizes are just right for me.

Since I'm allergic to fish, I can't personally vouch for the sushi, but my husband and daughter say it's fresh and delicious every time. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the food comes out quickly with appealing presentation.

If you enjoyed Kabuki, you'll probably love this spot. The AYCE option feels like a great value, and there's plenty to choose from. Come hungry, because this place is unlikely to disappoint!“

“sushiland is truly a hidden gem in hacienda heights. I come here almost weekly with my girlfriend and I never had something we didn’t like. The scallop roll, scallop sushi, and wagyu sushi are absolutely amazing. Toro is always fresh and the beers are cold and cheap. We are always met with a smile by the employees and truly feel the good energy in the restaurant as well as the food we are served. Beyond thankful this is a 2 minute drive I urge anyone in LP or HH to give this place a shot- i’ve eaten at about every sushi place in Hacienda Heights and this one is clearly the best.
