“It’s a pretty good place to grab poke for quick bite. I will not say it’s the best I ever had, but it’s above average. Got the “Happi Salmon” which you get to choose the base white/brown rice, or salad, Come with miso soup. The salmon if definitely on the small side but pretty good.“

“I went here for the first time on a Monday evening. The service was really good and on point on this day. Staff was always checking on us, always making sure our stove was clean or removing finished dishes. I got us the Deluxe meal. The spicy baby octopus was good. The gyōza dumplings and egg rolls were really good. They have sushi as well. Their menu can be accessed by QR code or you can ask for a physical menu.“

“I am not a big fan of mariscos. This is one of the best mariscos spots I actually enjoy. I highly recommend the shrimp and fish tacos, the camarones dinamitas, camarones de cucarachas, Coctel de Camaron, the aguachiles is actually one of the best sauces I've actually tasted, not to mention there other Mexican dishes they have on the menu. I also rented the hall for events and the menu for their catering services are good as well and the hostility from dining in and renting the hall has been phenomenal. Anyone wanting to eat good mariscos I highly recommend this place“

“Food was fresh and well prepared, the service was quick and very friendly, my server crystal was absolutely wonderful she helped give suggestions that were spot on with what I like and she was very attentive to my time and made sure I had all I needed. The place is really cute and clean. I had a great lunch experience and look forward to my next visit.“

“The sushi here was excellent. The rice in the two rolls had a hint of yuzu that really elevated the flavor. Yuzu can sometimes be overpowering, but the chef used it perfectly to enhance the overall taste. It really brought the entire roll together. I especially enjoyed the Crunchy Albacore Roll—the balance of flavors was spot on.
The chirashi bowl was also plentiful and a great value for the price. The fish was very fresh, but the standout part was the rice. I’ve honestly never had sushi rice quite like this before. In addition to the classic vinegary sushi rice flavor, there was a subtle hint of yuzu that added an extra layer of freshness. When paired with the fish, it made the whole experience feel even more elevated.
If you come between 5:00 and 6:30, they offer 15% off during happy hour, which makes the experience even better.

The nigiri was a standout, with perfectly seasoned rice and melt-in-your-mouth fish. Service was impeccable; the staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They even made excellent recommendations based on my preferences. One thing to note: Fillet doesn’t have a liquor license yet, so if you’re someone who enjoys pairing sushi with sake or wine, this might be a consideration. They said it’s coming soon, I can’t wait to come back here again.“

“Great food, portions are bonkers good. Food quality is top notch and well worth the price. Staff are super friendly as well. I got a combo plate and unlike other Japanese restaurants I actually got beef that was properly cooked. After seeing the portions of the sushi rolls I will try those out next time because they were giant. Will definitely return.“

I always wondered how real Japanese sushi would taste and I have a feeling this place is certainly close to that. I had recently watched a documentary on Netflix and how this one place in Japan you just trust the chef to serve you delicious 😋 sushi! Well this is place does the same and boy it doesn't disappoint. I've never had salmon melt in my mouth like that or had sushi rice taste sooo good. And the ginger ! Thats real stuff

Started with fatty Tuna that melted in my mouth so fresh delicious then moved on to giant Clams (Mirugai) it was sweet & crunchy I could have gone for second order not many sushi restaurants have (Mirugai)The fatty belly Salmon was buttery & the spicy Tuna hand roll sashimi was perfect coz I’m a spicy food addict it was just heavenly for me. Yum yum 🤤 ended with Kumamoto Oyster 🦪 it was so sweet like cotton candy in your mouth made me wanting more which I did order more. “So this was my first time doing Omakase. Wow what an experience. I will start off to say that the service was fantastic. They really take care of you . We ordered some sake and waited for the 6 course chef’s choice meal to start coming out. As you can see from the pictures the presentation was fantastic. All the fish had such good flavor and buttery goodness. Such amazing flavors. I for the life of me cannot remember anything that we got in particular but all I know is that it was delicious. I know I did try some stuff that I normally wouldn’t have but all tasted fantastic. Service was just top notch , they saw our sake cup was empty they would come over and refill for us. WOW! It’s a tiny place and started to fill up after they opened at 11:30am. We had reservations for 11:30am at the bar. Does seem to be a very popular spot definitely would go back and try some other stuff. Had a great time hanging with My close friend . Will be back.

“We came out here from LA and this place was better than a lot of LA sushi spots! Such delicious creative rolls! I’m allergic to imitation crab meat and they had a lot of rolls without it, which is a good sign because that means the chef gets more creative with ingredients for rolls. “We came during Valentine’s Day and was pleasantly surprised with the experience - from delicious and quite good portion of food to attentiveness in service. Patricio was our server and he was very attentive, checking in on us right after the food were delivered.“

“Sashimi: Walk in and walk straight to the back if you’re looking for sashimi. Grab a ticket! They’ll call the number and then you’ll get to pick the sashimi you want. Wait till they cut it and come back when they call your number. About 5-10 minutes! Once your ticket number is called, grab the cut sashimi and you’re ready for checkout (front).

Rolls: If you’re looking for rolls, walk in to the left side (coolers). Theres a line sometimes so don’t cut in line if you see people wrapped around the corner for the rolls!

Interior: it’s packed with Japanese condiments/food/snacks! Price of these are higher but I do believe most of them come from Japan.

Price: it’s reasonable and fresh! Highly recommend if you have party to serve.

Condiments for your fish: they give soy sauce/ chopstick/ice if needed at the checkout. Wasabi is sold separately at the coolers if needed but wasabi is also included inside your sashimi cut containers.

Parking: in the back or street parking!“
