Delicious! A friend brought me here,since im still fairly new to the area. Its tiny not big, its cozy. It feels like your in a different place,which is cool. Our waiter was great,service was awesome too. We got there just before 5 o'clock. It was full,but we still go seated quickly. The ramen soup bowls are what we both had. It was super yummy! Also had potstickers, California roll..everything was good. We split the bill. Overall really good experience.“

“We love Joy. My family have been regulars for many many years. Food is awesome. Service is great, servers friendly. Only bummer, when we, as a family, went to celebrate my birthday on Saturday, we presented a gift certificate my husband & I were gifted from my Kids. It was issued at the end of 2019, expired at the end of 2020. Because of Covid we did not venture out until late last year. They did not not honor it. A little bit of a disappointment, but not going to keep us from frequenting our fav local sushi restaurant.“

We come for date nights , work lunches, birthdays and especially when it’s raining and you need some udon. “The thickest and girthiest sushi rolls I've ever had and it was fantastic.
The staff and service was incredible! Big shout out to Crystal** our server and John the owner for making us feel extremely welcomed and very well fed.

My personal fave was the I LOVE JASMINE roll named after the owner's wife and the Daniel San roll named after the owner's son!

It's a family of great taste forsure!

Also loved how amazing the ambiance was, a GIANT screen to watch the game, plenty of fun decorations that made the space feel fun and alive!

In my honest opinion I don't think this place is authentically owned by Japanese people though, because the portions are HUGE like the rolls are 3-4x the size of a normal sushi roll but with 1/2 the flavor from what I am used to. The rolls was so big, there's not way you can fit the whole thing in your mouth at once so I tried to cut it but the seaweed was soft and wouldn't cut...lolll.. the plate became a destroyed piece of cut roll and I had to eat each piece in a smaller piece which ruins the flavor. There is way too much rice on the rolls. The restroom was not bad but also not great. They ran out of toilet seat covers and was slightly unkempt. A real Japanese owned restaurant would have an immaculate restroom. Inside was loud every table was prety much full.“

A cozy place to enjoy authentic Japanese food. We ordered rolls, salad, and sashimi. The salmon wrapped crab meat sashimi is my favorite.

Be mindful of their schedule for lunch as they open for only three hours from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.“

“Sushi Mura has the best ramen in Buena Park. This was my first time here. I've been to most ramen places in Buena Park, and didn't realize Sushi Mura is a hidden gem Sushi and ramen place near me.

The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The menu had more options than I'll ever be able try. I had the special sake and appetiser deal for $30 and was not disappointed.

“Not sure how I haven’t left a review here yet—this is my go-to sushi spot in the area. I always start off with the spicy garlic edamame and calamari, both great appetizers. Depending on the day, if you order a beer you sometimes get a free fried corn poppers appetizer, which is actually surprisingly good.

My usual go-to rolls are the Hungry Roll and Samurai Roll, but honestly everything I’ve tried here has been solid. Service is always good as well.“

“One of the freshest—if not the best—sushi marketplaces in town! Yama Sushi Marketplace is a small shop that is always packed with locals looking to satisfy their sushi cravings, and after my first visit, I can definitely see why.

The store offers an impressive selection of Japanese goodies, including ramen, condiments, fresh sashimi, and a wide variety of sushi rolls. There are so many options and combinations to choose from. If you are looking for sashimi, head to the back of the store where they have conveniently packaged fish sold by the pound, and they will happily slice it for you. Or, if you are in a hurry, you can grab their freshly made sushi rolls from the refrigerators.

On my visit, I picked up ahi tuna, salmon, and yellowtail sashimi, along with California rolls and tuna rolls. Every piece of fish was incredibly fresh with a buttery texture and amazing flavor. The quality of the fish and the perfectly seasoned sushi rice were so good that I barely needed any soy sauce or wasabi.

Soup, salad, your choice of any roll plus 2 hand rolls. It's a lot of food and you get your money's worth. They have alcohol on the menu as well. There is kids seating available.
