Under new ownership. Recipes are completely different. The tempura batter batter was boring, the chicken for teriyaki chicken bowls was mediocre, and I had to request more sauce because it was dry. The veggies in the bowl we undercooked and basically raw. The udon soup lacked flavor. We definitely miss the old recipes from the previous owner. Food portions are good for the price. This has been our favorite dive for years now! There is new management and cook and the place is as good as ever if not better. The chicken teriyaki was tender just tight. The "jalapeño roll" (Spicy tuna on the inside and salmon, on the outside with some jalapeño on top) was the perfect combination of savory and spice. This place is under new ownership. Excellent service and smile made my day good. The foods that I ordered tasted so good! Especially teriyaki chicken was very tender and marinated well. I strongly recommend teriyaki chicken and chicken katsu as well.
