She was making her rounds happily greeting the customers.She stopped by our table & we had a delightful conversation. She is sweet & super friendly. “Had lunch at the Denny's on Grand Avenue in W. Covina yesterday. The Banana Caramel Pancskes were incredible, the eggs were to my liking, and the hash browns might just have been the best I've ever had. The waitress was courteous and very accommodating. Denny's probably won't ever win the Architectural Digest award for exceptional interior design, but this franchise pairs great food with great service. Couldn't ask for more!Vegetarian options: You can ask them to hold the meat on almost any dish. Maybe not on fried chicken, but otherwise . . .Parking: Plenty of places to park.Kid-friendliness: They love kids.“

“Been going to Penny's since it was on Hacienda & Maplegrove (bout 25 yrs ago) Hadn't been in a while Had steak & eggs with HOUSE POTATOES and it was all so tasty & delicious!! Waitess was nice but seemed new. The only drawback was she seemed to get busy with a couple of other tables and didn't come back to our side for most of our stay. Waited for coffee refill until I was done with my food. Only one more person behind the counter. Overall a good experience based on the food...and that amazing house salsa!“
“Nice place and good service and clean place, I been here a couple of times, last time was 4 to 5 months ago , I like the place I still remember they were filming a movie there. I still remember they brought a guy playing the role of a poor person who couldn't afford anything and his wife was rich and he was angry in the movie. There was sound but the video was blurry. I think a camera crew was asleep.“
“So I'll start off by saying..it should be mentioned that this is INSIDE the Lazy Dog restaurant. If I didn't read deeper into the reviews, I would've been walking through the mall aimlessly trying to find it. Walking into the restaurant, it was packed to the gills, which you can expect for a Friday night. The hostess informed me for quick service to order by the takeout area. The gentleman who took my order was kind and quick to assist me. Since there was going to be a wait, he offered me water, and I accepted. I ordered the Chicken Katsu bowl, which is delicious. It has all the ingredients that are mentioned. I am not one for condiments, but the dressing was pretty good. Whomever created this should definitely update and mention that to enjoy the food you'll have to enter a more than likely packed restaurant to enjoy. Other than that this is a great late night option for food.“
“Came to California over the New Year. Went here for a corn dog and my first ever chilli cheese fries. This place did NOT disappoint! The dark moody atmosphere is awesome, and I love the punny innuendos on the seats and walls! ? 5 stars all round!“
“This a standard for our family. We had a very nice waitress, I think her name was Ray. She was pleasantly attentive and made our visit seem a little better than average. I was happy to see the Ragin Cajun Chicken sandwich back in the menu. I ordered it with avocado. Very good that way. My only complaint since the remodel, is it is much more noisy with the open design and hard surfaces..4/6/24 We stopped by for the new $12 smashed avocado and bacon burger on special this week until April 7th. Each week RR is putting one of their new burgers on special. Next week is a Hawaiian burger. This is a better deal than McDonalds and certainly better quality. The burgers were good and the bottomless fries make for a filling meal. Our waitress was one of the best we have ever had at RR. Very good attitude and checked on us regularly. Great job Red Robin.“
“I have been eating at this Dennys location forever now. Way way back in the days when i lived in West Covina, wed eat here alot. I used to work across the street from here. Ancient history. Anyway, we ordered some grand slam pancakes with hash browns, bacon, sausages and all. Nice feel to the place. Great customer service in all. Always a pleasure to visit.“
“My family and I visited BJ’s over the weekend and everything was fantastic. Our waiter Levi was very attentive and made sure we had all we needed. The Manger who introduced himself as Carlos also came to our table a couple times to make sure we were enjoying our meal. He was professional and polite. I thought “The kids starter” for my six year old was special. It kept her tummy satisfied while we waited for our meal. Great idea!“
“The food was fabulous and the service was alright. The dressing on my salad was really good and the fries were nice and hot. The service was okay. I’m still eating my salad and the server asked if we wanted dessert. I’m still eating my salad and then she drops off the check. I’m not sure if that is Island’s SOP but I don’t like it. We felt very rushed. But at least the food was good.“
“I really hate to quote their current commercial but it is true. 10.99 for burger fries and drink. McDonald's is 12.49 for a big mac meal. Chili's always has awsome quality throughout the years. I almost feel stupid going to get a fast food burger right now. Sit down and relax....payless and grt a lot more. Plus they serve alcohol hello. #drivesafe“
“I came to Lazy Dog on Saturday with my friend for brunch, and we had a great time. I ordered the Fire Cracker Shrimp and Chilaquilles, and both were AMAZING. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice as well. I definitely plan to come back.“
