Carlos and the rest of the staff were amazingly attentive and handled everything we needed on the day of the event. “Michelin-Level Experience at Outback Prices The Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda is a hidden gem. I was expecting something entirely different — and was pleasantly surprised in the best possible way. We started with the smashed potatoes and endive salad, which made for perfect appetizers: light enough not to spoil our appetite, yet full of flavor to whet it. The portions were ideal for sharing with my wife. For our main courses, we ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Wagyu burger, and my wife went with the tempura fish and chips. I’m not sure how they did it, but every bite was incredibly well-balanced. The fish had a crispy exterior, just the right touch of Maldon salt, and a beautifully firm, flaky interior. The tartar sauce was exceptional — rich, creamy, and unlike any I’ve had before. The burger was a standout. Each ingredient was distinct and purposeful — no unnecessary fillers. Every component worked in harmony to deliver deep, layered flavors in every bite. We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was beautifully presented. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the perfectly burnt top paired wonderfully with the sweet berry compote. A special treat was getting to meet the head chef. What a pleasant surprise. He shared the story behind one of his dishes and mentioned that every item on the menu has its own story and purpose. That passion really comes through in the food. I’ve dined at many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say the quality here rivals places charging $150–$200 per plate. The value is extraordinary for the caliber of cuisine offered. This is a truly special hidden gem — perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends or an intimate dinner date. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!“

“I went into this Denny’s location and was graciously welcomed by fantastic associate by the name of David. David allowed my partner and I to choose our own seats and as we sat he had gone over the new promotions available that we could make use of. As I proceeded to order David pointed out that my desired meal was actually available under the promotion and advised me to take up on that for a better bang for my buck. David also pointed out that if we were not currently rewards members another item we asked for could be given free as a reward if we signed up, yet again saving us some money. As we dined inside, David continuously checked on us making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal with such a wonderful attitude. “I had been wanting to visit Wings Café for quite some time, and it exceeded my expectations.

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere made the experience unique. Being able to enjoy breakfast while watching the activity around the airport was something my kids and I really enjoyed. The omelets, eggs, and hash browns were delicious, and the portions were generous.

As an added bonus, there was a classic car show taking place during our visit, which made the day even more memorable.

Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. I so wish I lived nearby as I would pay it a regular visit. I’m so glad the Clearmans Northwoods inn has not been changed.“

“Went on a Thursday for date night with the wife. Live music was great. The restaurant was slow but we had a reservation. The service was very slow although they were not busy. Food was tasty but pricey for what you get. We had the Caesar salad to start, Mongolian beef (good but not a large portion of beef with lots of rice for $32), shrimp tacos were on the smallest street taco tortillas I have seen. Drinks and desert were good. Cool vibe and atmosphere.“

My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. “I rarely write reviews, but this… THIS is an experience worth sharing with friends and family.

We originally purchased the Royalty Package but decided to upgrade to the Celebration Package once we arrived. Our party of 9 took up an entire row, and depending on your group size, you could easily fit around 10 people in one row.

My nephew and I had the vegetarian meal while everyone else had the chicken dinner. The kids ate what they wanted (because, well… kids 😂), and the adults all told me they enjoyed their meals. Personally, I really enjoyed the vegetarian meal—it was surprisingly filling!

But honestly, the food wasn’t even the highlight. The show itself was unforgettable. Even the Blue Knight threw a flower to my 4-year-old daughter, which absolutely made her entire night. She was so shy when she got to see him up close after the show, and it was honestly one of the sweetest moments of the whole trip. The three boys in our group were completely engrossed in the show too—they only wanted to leave when someone needed to use the bathroom! 😂

I also purchased the souvenir slushie cups for the four kids in our group because… why not? 😂 This was the first time going to Medieval Times for five of us, and we decided to splurge a little on our last night in Southern California.

Yes, you may look at the ticket and package prices and think, “Wow, that’s a lot of money for a two-hour show.” But for us, it was worth every penny.

Of course, I had read the reviews about the food and everything else before going. At the end of the day, everyone is different, and what one person loves, another person may not. For our family, though, the entire experience was absolutely worth it.

I’m not sure when we’ll be back in Southern California, but when we are, Medieval Times will definitely be on our list of places to visit again. Ending our trip there was the perfect way to finish our time in SoCal. 🏰❤“
