“Incredible atmosphere, service and terrific food. I have eaten here off and on for the last 44 years as a treat and it's ALWAYS amazing. I've been to a few of their locations, but this one the most.Update April 2024: delicious as always. Prices are up, like everywhere, but at least it feels worth it. Specials available every now and then, by the looks of it.“
“Finally made it to this new local favorite and my only regret is not having been here sooner. We didn't have dinner reservations but made it there early enough (before 6) where they have plenty of tables on a Friday night. I was in the mood for a cocktail that wasn't sweet, and the server recommended just the right one. I don't remember the exact name of it but it has cucumber and a hint of agave. I think tequila is the primary ingredient but it's not a margarita. It was refreshing and offered just the right hint of sweetness. My husband who is a big fan of Old Fashioned drinks had one and boy, was it good! No, it wasn't good, it was delicious! I don't like Old Fashioneds but this one was absolutely incredible. We will return just for the drinks. The food itself was delicious, even though it has minimal offerings for vegetarians. The Impossible Burger is the only choice, but it was cooked well and the fries were good. Our other party member had a traditional burger and raved about it as well.We found out they have live entertainment every night, starting at around 9 p.m., so we will return for that.Overall, this is a fabulous place with an impressive bar, good food offerings, excellent service and an overall good vibe. Looking forward to returning.Vegetarian options: The Impossible Burger.“
“Went to Giovanni's to celebrate my wife's birthday. Decided to keep it local and came here for the 1st time. We really enjoyed the food and service here, the lobster ravioli was delicious, the clam linguine was good too! Our server was great and the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. If your in downtown Covina this place is a gem. Definitely recommend Giovanni's for a nice dinner. Btw the cocktails were ??“
“First time visiting this restaurant. The service was slow. The water cups were all chewed up by dishwasher I'm sure. I asked for a better looking cup which that one didn't look any better. The food was pretty good but restaurant needs a lot of cleaning and repairs to torn seats at booths. Watch out for condiments at table also they were pretty gross and sticky“
“Food was good! Service was kind of rushed.. our waitress was moving pretty quickly & getting things wrong. But other than that, she was nice about everything! The busser was nice & helpful tooKid-friendliness: They have high chairs to accommodate the babies & a good kids selection for breakfast lunch & dinner“
“The food was great not a lot but good the bread pudding was awesome. Juan our server was wonderful. I took my friend there for her Birthday lunch first time for both of us after spending $80.00 I noticed a charge on my bill for extra barbecue sauce. First of all the sauce comes in a small small amount and to charge for extra is just wrong, that was our only complaint.“
“Place is cute and nicely decorated. Have tried a few of their dishes, no complaints. Didn't give a 5 star only because the parking really sucks. Frustrating to be driving around the street looking for parking. To top off signs everywhere your car will get towed, so you eat at your own risk. Mimosas and iced coffees are yummy. Food 5/5 Service 4/5 Ambience 4/5“
“In-n-Out, always consistent, always clean, always good.Vegetarian options: If it's an ingredient on hand, you can order it.Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, bun, fries,Mayo, mustard, secret sauce.Lettuce, tomatoes and onions in a box with their sauce as dressing as a salad.Grilled cheese sandwich. if you do cheeseCold Bun, mayo and tomato sandwich.Bun, mayo and whole grilled onion on a heated bun.Any combination of ingredients that you can imagine, as long as it's ingredients they have on hand.Dietary restrictions: They are very good about avoiding cross contamination. And the kitchen is always super clean.Parking: They have large parking lots, but often it's completely full.Kid-friendliness: They offer stickers and hats for the kiddosWheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking right in front of the doors, flat and level to the inside, and tables where the chairs can be moved away for wheelchair accessibly.“
“There's a small bar on the border of Covina and West Covina that looks like a simple beer and wine type of place. But don't be fooled by the small appearance, they can pack the house with live bands or a DJ or juke box any time. They have a full bar and plenty of seating at the counter or high-top tables. Locals come here to enjoy watching sports, hang out with friends or hit the dance floor by the stage. There's a good vibe, don't want any trouble cause the bouncer will see you out the door! Drop by, it's open 7 days a week!“
“The staff is always great! They have excellent burgers and fries. I don’t recommend the chicken strips, but that’s a personal opinion since I see other people eat them all the time. Great ranch! I find it easier to walk in and order than go through the drive thru, but they always get my order right, and are always friendly. The place is always clean, and usually busy. They get you in and out quickly. :)Parking: If they don’t have space for parking in between their restaurant and the pizzeria, then you can park behind the building, but it’s open, and only about 10 spots are not visible from their “main parking” area. It’s where I usually park when I come from Citrus.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair accessible, and the door is easy to open. I use a cane or a walker, and I’m able to get in and out without a problem.“
“Had not been here in years, so much fun, it was a weekday, still had an ok amount of people, much more relaxed than a game day or weekend. Friendly attentive staff, very clear restrooms, tons of parking in the back, and in the front if it’s not a weekend. Will return and recommend.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly it’s a bar“
“stopped by this place in Covina, because a friend Brian recommended it. omg, so glad I did ! I had the brisket cheese , i was so satisfied!!! It also came with fries , however, I opted for the sweet potato fries which were a great portion and so tasty !! I really enjoyed the greeting, the wait staff were so awesome and friendly. I felt very comfortable enjoying my Sunday afternoon meal and listening to great music from my Era.!!! great music selection !! whi needs a dj !!! lol. I definitely will be returning soon. !! This is a local gem for sure !! highly recommended. the menu was great, got to come check it out !!! great ambience, great food, great personally, great drinks !!! what more can you ask for ?“
“Food was a bit pricey but good. I am all for paying extra for a good meal and service. It was the Cash Only that got me. ATM says 2.75 fee but when I checked my bank they took an additional fee of 2.50 that’s a $ 5.00 inconvenience charge to your customer just for choosing to eat at your restaurant. Not worth it.“
