“one of those low-key neighborhood spots that quietly becomes your “how did I not know about this?” place. I came in for breakfast and left thinking, “Okay… so we’re coming back for lunch too.”

First off: the vibe is classic, cozy, and unpretentious—clean tables, a steady hum of regulars, and staff who greet you like you’ve been eating here for years (in the best way). Service was quick without feeling rushed, which is exactly what you want when coffee is still doing its job.

Food-wise, everything felt made-to-order and generously portioned. The breakfast plate in the photo—eggs smothered in a bright, chunky salsa with beans and melted cheese—hits that perfect comfort-food zone: warm, savory, and surprisingly balanced. The salsa has real tomato-and-chile character (not that watery “red sauce” situation), and the beans are creamy enough to scoop up with every bite. Add the dollop of sour cream and it’s basically breakfast therapy.

Then there’s the breakfast sandwich + hash browns combo. The bun is soft, the egg is fluffy, the bacon brings the salt-and-smoke, and the cheese does what cheese is supposed to do: glue happiness together. The hash browns are the kind you keep “sampling” until you realize you accidentally ate half the plate.

Once you walk in you are greeted with such a warm friendly aura. I got the bacon cheeseburger and I fell in love, they have such fresh ingredients and amazing taste! The fries are crisp and the ranch is to die for! I got my order in a quick manner as well! The staff is very attentive and friendly, everyone gives a family vibe I truly felt at home and comfortable! Since christmas is around the corner they decorated so cute as well with life sized santa and star wars. 10/10 definitely recommend for some tasty, juicy old fashioned burgers!!:)“

“As the name would suggest, this is a burger and chicken sandwich dive. They sell fries, zucchini, and beef. Talow fries. Beverages are pretty basic with coat, Diet Coke, sparkling water, and bottled water.

Staff was super friendly and made great recommendations.

“Stopped by this establishment because my normal breakfast spot was full to the gillz one particular morning. This establishment was pretty darn close to being full and seated us promptly. I was pleasantly surprised by the food which was spot on. I opted for the chicken and waffle which was hearty and sumptuous. While I still consider my go to breakfast spot to be Georgia's bun n burger up the road, I believe I'll keep this diner as a formidable reserve in my back pocket.“

Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. “Our first visit was a huge success! We were greeted immediately by the host and seated in under two minutes. The staff was so proactive, letting us know right away that their menudo is a weekend specialty. Our waiter, Francisco, was fantastic—extremely attentive, fast, and stayed on top of everything throughout the meal.

As for the food, the portions are definitely generous and full of flavor—a huge plus! I also loved that they have TVs; it kept my little one entertained and happy. I honestly wouldn’t mind the drive from Riverside for another delightful meal. See you guys soon!“

“My mom and brother and I went to The Heights for lunch, and we enjoyed everything about it, the vibe, my chicken marsala was delicious, mom had cranberry turkey sandwich and loved it, brother had the dill salmon, he loved it. My friend got the swordfish, and opted out of the rice and upgraded to double string beans, didn't look like they doubled it.She said there's no hint of flavor on the beans, like they were simply boiled. She did like the caper sauce on the fish but had to ask for more.

Both dishes were lunch sized portions with dinner pricing, but there's live music (Friday 7pm), so just realize that it's less of a restaurant than a fine whiskey bar with food.“

“Every year after the Glendora All Class Reunion Picnic in October, members of the graduating class of 1969 aim to meet up for a more intimate visit at Club House 66. We started it the weekend of our 50th High School Reunion with dinner the night before our formal gala. We had our 70th birthday on the beautiful patio there 2 years later with a wonderful buffet dinner. We no longer have a committee planned reunion but we have committed to trying to make the Annual All Class Picnic and then having a no host gathering on the Club House 66 patio. This year there were 14 of us,74 year old, coming by after a day at Finkbiner Park to have drinks and dinner on a warm Indian Summer night to reminisce with childhood friends. Our server was Ruth and she was delightful and her team made us feel like royalty. They set up the table to greet the group and kept the drinks flowing , the water glasses full and brought us delicious food as we ordered it thoughout the night. Ruth made sure we each had our own bill. We didn’t even have to ask. We interacted with the other friendly families out on the patio and we all felt like we had come “home”. It was the perfect ending to a great day spent laughing about childhood memories and our journeys into adulthood. We will be back next year and plan to celebrate our Class of 1969’s 75th Birthday right there on that picturesque patio. Thank you Clubhouse 66, Ruth and the whole team who made us feel so special. ♥️“
