“It had been nearly 15 years since my last visit. I must say the decor is exactly as I remembered. Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. I so wish I lived nearby as I would pay it a regular visit. I’m so glad the Clearmans Northwoods inn has not been changed.“

Always good, family friendly, just don't get hungry for spaghetti on Wednesday. To my knowledge they've never been open on Wednesday.“

“Been to this bar for awhile now and over all i find the snacks they have here are nice pretzels and beefjerky are A1, service is great never have to wait long for a beer or wine based drink which still gets you on a good buzz on a hot or cold day or night , customer service is great very friendly and not like the usual bars this bar you can talk to people and start a conversation other places feel like people just want to be left alone, got a nice pool table only a dollar for play with normal bar ettiquette rules everybody writes there name on board and goes by list they got touch tunes for music sometimes they got events going on like live band or dj or comedy night or sing nights and they have vendors random pop up events that are good to support small buisness that are are there way up good food vendors choice decently priced overall for everything all management and bar staff are very friendly and professional my personal opinion this is the go to bar and wednesday or sunday night Mel is working she is such a sweetheart and the best in my opinion great worker very friendly and good vibes all around like any other dive bar dont forget to tip your bartenders they work hard and make sure you enjoy yourself for the night have fun but pace yourself because you can get messed up really quickly on these delicious drinks they creep up on you like security here they have on event nights always have your valid id on you and make sure its not expired they will tell even the regulars to get it fixed before they come back inside the establishment another thing they have cbd drinks as well and also non alcoholic drinks to so if you dont drink alcohol you can still kick it with friends with a different type of beverage check it out and be safe“

“We came around 7pm and the entire restaurant was PACKED. We were able to walk in with a group of 4 and we were seated right away (shockingly). Philip was our server and he was so great. Although he had many tables and a restaurant full of people, he never allowed it to affect his professionalism or quality of service. Our appetizers were brought out as quickly as the order was placed and our drinks were brought shortly after our waters. Without asking, Philip refilled our waters as needed and checked in with us multiple times throughout meal. I watched him interact with other tables and he was amazing. He gave each person his undivided attention and patience. Thank you so much for the best service we’ve ever received at this location (and we’re locals, we come all the time). “We've always picked Claremont Village for classier nights out, and Downtown Pomona where most of the divier bars and dance clubs are, if we want to get DOWN. Although I do enjoy a good ratchet nightlife experience once in a while, Acerogami is the nicest bar in the downtown area and worthy of taking guests to. I've actually never been to the Glass House, but I love going to this attached bar. It's a pretty, very spacious layout with perfect lighting, a minimalist and nice ambiance without being too fancy. The bartenders are nice and laid-back. The drink prices are amazing and far from Claremont drink prices, too! A must-visit if you are planning a night out in the area“

First off, their menu is on definitely top notch. It's hefty, but they have an index in the back which shows all the pictures/descriptions of the food (amazing for any first timers). We ordered the dynamite steamed egg, kimchi cream pasta, cheese buldak chicken, and chicken gizzard stir fry. The steamed egg is definitely an upgrade from usual steamed eggs. It's super fluffy and is the perfect start to any meal. I've been craving some korean pasta recently and couldn't find a decent place. Yet, this place does it right. Although I wish there was a bit more, the cheese buldak is that silent creeper in terms of spice but super delicious (tip: ask for rice so that you can mix it with the leftover sauce). The chicken gizzard stir fry is that perfect balance between chewy and savory. Definitely a fan.

The service was amazing. The owner/servers are super attentive and accommodating beyond words. We were sitting near the door and people were smoking outside, so he ended up constantly closing the door and opening to let our dining experience not be negatively affected. Unmatched. They really care about their diners.

It's a smaller place, so during events (WC) and weekends, it can fill up rather quickly. So, make sure to plan accordingly. It's definitely worth it. It's located within a plaza, so parking is plentiful. I will definitely be back to try the other menu items. A+++!“

If pizza had a Mount Rushmore, Barro's Pizza would be carved into it twice--once for the food and once for the vibes.

Let's start with the obvious: this pizza is elite. I'm talking old-school, done-right, no-nonsense, how pizza is supposed to taste. Perfect crust. Sauce that actually tastes like tomatoes (shocking concept these days). Cheese that pulls like it's auditioning for a commercial. Every slice hits the same, whether it's your first or your fourth--and yes, you will go back for more.

Now add the atmosphere. TVs everywhere. Not one sad corner screen--multiple TVs, perfectly placed, so no matter where you sit, the game is on. Football, basketball, playoffs, random Tuesday night action--it's all there. This is a sports fan's sanctuary. You could bring rival fans here and they'd still leave friends, united by pizza.

The place itself feels like a classic neighborhood pizza joint perfected, not trendy, not try-hard, just confident. Families, regulars, first-timers--it works for everyone. Loud enough to feel alive, comfortable enough to stay longer than planned.

Honestly? If the President of the United States wanted pizza without the Secret Service, this is where they'd come. No politics. No nonsense. Just great pizza, great energy, and a reminder of how good things used to be--and still can be when done right.

“My mom and brother and I went to The Heights for lunch, and we enjoyed everything about it, the vibe, my chicken marsala was delicious, mom had cranberry turkey sandwich and loved it, brother had the dill salmon, he loved it. “This was a nice little joint I happened to come across looking for a locals style restaurant. I showed up a bit after 5, so it wasn't to busy yet. The tv near the ceiling as a list of all the beers available on tap. Some of their beers are not my type, but that's fine. When you sit down, you have 2 fermentation tanks in the dining area that makes for a neat experience. The beers are pretty decent. They do have a happy hour, but I'm not sure of the times. I did order the bratwurst, it was ok. I do think the menu should be expanded, as there wasn't much to choose from. Several photos from years back showed a significant menu; but not anymore. Overall I'd come back. I enjoy the small atmosphere and the locals feel that is involved.“

“Amazing customer service and wonderful food. The buffet is not a weekend only offering, it is offered during the week. First restaurant where I had the best service ever. Usually, I am not up to tip 10-15% for mediocre service, but easily selected the higher tip in a sign of appreciation for their work.

I was the only one that did the AYCE at my table and ate all of the 5 dishes I ordered: House Special Crab, Chicken Wings, Filet Mignon Shaken Beef, House Special Mango Salad, Cajun Cream Cheese Rangoon. Crabs could have had the shells cracked more before cooking/serving, but were still good. Sauce for the wings were saved to use for the rangoon, too. Will definitely be back. From LA, so at least is is far enough not to be coming every few weeks.“
