“Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.”

“A lovely, relaxing, setting with all the charm of a Paris café. The Lynda‘s Pumpkin Latte (I added chai, too!) was a delight – not too sweet with just the right hint of pumpkin. My husband enjoyed the vanilla latte and was equally pleased. A great addition to LaVerne and surrounding communities.”

I love their salads always fresh and crispy, and they have the best house vinaigrette. I love their meatball and eggplant Parmesan sandwiches, and the pasta is really good too. I miss having my real estate office across the street since we moved to Glendora. Us realtors at KALEO used to go there to get their lunch special all the time during the week, or for office meetings. The service is always good, great prices, and they are always quick to take your order and get your food out quickly.”

“Had appetizers, and drinks at the bar. It was packed, but service did not waver. When evrryone in our party had arrived, we asked to move into the dining room. After closing out our tab, we were graciously moved into the dining room where we ordered the deviled eggs and pondered which bottle of wine we would drink. We arrived around 4 and spent the time catching up, eating, drinking, and enjoying the atmosphere till about 8 p.m. We didn't get rushed along nor did we get any sideway glances for being at the table so long. The places was a great place to spend time with family and relax after a week of working.

Vegetarian options: There is enough options here to make a meal. Salads, baked potatoes, and a jalapeño popper type dish that can be vegetarian if request the bacon kept off the dish. They offer broccolini, cauliflower, and other fried vegetables. These looked very good as they passed by our table to others ables around us.”

“This is my new favorite spot! I love ordering the 800lb Gorilla protein shake($12.99) every morning after the gym. The flavor is so bomb! The shake is nice and THICK 😋 and the workers are nice and friendly <3 the interior temperature is a bit warm for me but I usually order ahead on the app so I'm not in the store for much time.. I would HIGHLY recommend downloading the Robeks app to rack-up reward points with every purchase.

Parking: The only bad thing is parking. The store has 2 designated parking but there is a chance you may not find parking. Sometimes I park near the professional building behind robeks and walk (because every single freaking parking spot can, and will be taken often. I guess it matters what time you arrive too. It's hit or miss, you may get a parking, sometimes none at all)”

“We just bought pizza dough from them to make pizza in our son's new pellet oven and smoker. The dough was perfect. It worked so well. Our kids comments were oh wow the dough. If don't want to do that just buy one of their pizzas they are delicious and the bagels too. Thanks”

“Being a Latino Family in La Verne, several Mexican food places in La Verne are somewhat generic. But this place has great food, great service (all the workers are so nice) and the atmosphere is simple but perfect.

The choices were great, I ordered from a specials menu… delicious, I had one scrambled egg, cooked to perfection, hash browns, sausage… all very good. I was there with a couple of friends, they each got omelets. Service wad quick, and friendly. Very attentive. Great music from the 1959’s… it was playing in the background. I will return, truly enjoyed everything.”

“This is part of a non-profit that serves at risk youth, young adults, and families and this Cafe actually is used as a job training program for the young adults. Come check it out and support them by purchasing something. Proceeds go back to supporting the job training. In addition next to it is a lovely store that also supports training them and has great deals on a variety of items. Pass it along to friends and family.”

“OK, so here’s the deal with this Chinese fast food restaurant there are precious few Chinese restaurants like the old days in Los Angeles especially after Covid so finding good Chinese food is very hard to come by and if in a pinch you have to go to a Chinese fast food restaurant there really isn’t a better one in Los Angeles that I’ve been to for a “strip mall type Chinese food joint.”This place is large and spacious and clean. It’s quiet. The staff is chill. The food is quality. You can taste better quality chicken they have at this restaurant versus restaurants with the same business model. I highly recommend and I hear there’s one in West Covina too that is owned by the same people and that is very good as well. I’m looking forward to going there too and did I mention the prices can’t be beat? There’s a wonton soup-to-go in my bag and I can’t wait to eat it with the crispy fried wontons that they have (good luck finding that at most fast food Chinese restaurants). We had the OJ chicken, chicken jalapeño, rice noodles, white rice, shrimp kung pao and wonton. All were fantastic.”
