“This is a Mongolian hot griddle and prepared Chinese American fare. You choose the meats and vegetables and noodles at the cold bar for cooking on the hot griddle. You can also choose the prepared hot food at the hot bar which is mainly your staple Chinese American dishes such as beef with broccoli and General Tai Chicken etc. it’s a decent meal at a nice price of $8 per lb. They have seating inside and outside. Parking is a bit crowded during peak due to Trade Joes being next door.“

The Diamond Tier was awesome with grade A5 the dry aged wagyu was melt in your mouth good! Just as good as what we had in Japan. Brandon cooked them up for us and we enjoyed talking with him. Celebrating my husband's birthday they sing and have some ice creamsicles ube or honeydew flavors. They do have drink stations, some extra food stations, a dessert station all of which you can walk around to grab yourself. The Otoro thick cut and black pepper beef cubes were our other favorites. “It was our first time here. Wanted to try somewhere different. It’s more affordable than the places back in Garden Grove. When we first got sat, we were very confused on what to do. Tan came over and helped us out a lot. I observed other workers just pacing around but Tan was the only one hustling from table to table to assist. Food was great. Grill size is a bit limited which was my only complaint. But definitely recommend coming here“

“In need of some bbq and decided to visit with my kids. We had an amazing time there. The menu was upscale for most bbq restaurants and creative along with all of the standard fare. Let's me say that the manager was outstanding. Professional, attentive and friendly to every guest. The food was very good. My son had the fried catfish sandwich. My daughter has the smoked sausage dinner and I had the St. Louis style ribs. The fish sandwich was perfectly fried and huge. My daughter's smoked sausage dinner was succulent and delicious. My rib dinner was tasty but, a little underwhelming as far as the smoke on it. I do prefer hickory smoke with a nice bark. They use pecan which is a mellow flavor profile and there was no bark. Also, they were a bit over cooked. Let me explain. A good smoked rib should have a nice bark, flavorful smoke and be tender but not mushy. These ribs although tasty didn't meet that standard in my opinion although very moist with a nice smoke ring. I was looking for a nice tender bite that comes clean from the bones while maintaining some structure. But they were still delicious never the less. We're looking forward to trying the rest of the menu asap. Overall, an excellent experience worthy of the price.“

“We stopped by Spirit of Texas Craft Barbecue, located near Arrow Highway and Bonnie Cove, for an early Sunday lunch. We arrived around 11:30 a.m. and decided to make a meal of it.

Today, we tried two of their combo platters, featuring tri-tip and pulled pork. Both came with a side, and we each chose the potato salad. We also grabbed a couple of drinks to round out the meal.

The tri-tip and pulled pork were both delicious, and the potato salad was a great complement to the barbecue.

Everything tasted fresh and homemade, which is exactly what you hope for when visiting a family-owned barbecue restaurant.

One thing I really appreciate about Spirit of Texas is its authenticity. This is a small, family-owned establishment that has been serving the community for years. I was actually here 30 years ago, and remarkably, the place hasn't changed much. They still make their food themselves rather than relying on someone else's kitchen. You can taste the care that goes into what they serve.

I also love their sign explaining that they're open until a certain time or until they run out of food. That tells you everything you need to know. When the food is gone, they're done for the day. It's a good reason to get there early!

There's plenty of parking, including designated ADA parking spaces. There are also signs throughout the lot reminding visitors that parking is for customers only, apparently due to past issues.

“Went in with a few friends and it just fit that kind of night. The lamb belly skewers came out fast and disappeared even faster, smoky at the edges, juicy in the middle, with that charcoal taste staying around for a second. That cut can get heavy sometimes but these ate really easy. We kept reaching for one more without talking much, which usually says enough. I had it with a cold Sapporo and that combo landed right. Not doing too much, just solid skewers and a table that worked for a small group 😝“

Im so glad I live far because I'd eat here weekly. The wings are amazing, smoked wings are my favorite I love the flavor and they have several different options. I tried them all and I love the lemon pepper and plain wings. My favorite thing on the menu are the brisket tacos. For reference I don't like trying new food and I always ask for everything on the side to be safe. I've eaten her about 5-6 times and the food has always been perfect. I think the prices are good for the quality of food they serve.“

“This place doesn’t take reservations, and the line is always long! I waited almost two hours on a Saturday evening for a party of four. It was VERY loud inside - turns out they had an entertainer named Adam who would sing Chinese and English songs. You could pay $20 for a song request.

You order everything on the tablet. There is a call button on each table to get service. The skewers are good but tiny portions. What’s really good here is the chicken wing! I also really like their malatang and golden soup. The meat in the soups is fatty though.

The chicken skin has a lovely, subtle gelatinous quality, and when you pair it with the fragrant rice and the incredible house-made chili and ginger scallion sauces… it’s just perfection. Don’t sleep on their other dishes, either. The potato noodles come in a massive, steaming clay pot with a soup base that’s both spicy and deeply flavorful. The fried buns are golden, crispy little clouds of goodness. The atmosphere is super casual and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly. Honestly, for the quality and portion size, the price is a steal. This is a true neighborhood treasure, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!“

“Came in with zero expectations, just wanted to destroy a mountain of food. Surprisingly solid meat quality and selection. Most of the sides were good too, just not the corn & cheese and the golden oyster roll. Those missed.

If you can make it for lunch, their $24.99 AYCE lunch special is one of the best deals around. The banchan came out first, and everything was fresh and delicious, but the glass noodles were my favorite. I could’ve eaten those all day!
Then the meat started rolling out… game over. The prime rib, beef belly, and brisket were all fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. Add a little salt, throw it on the grill, and wowww… every bite was amazing.
We also ordered the kimchi fried rice, steamed egg, and spicy tofu soup, and every side dish hit the spot. The service was quick, the staff kept checking on us, and they never let the grill get too crowded.

“My service organization regularly came to Silver Spoons' predecessor, so when we found out that Silver Spoons was open, we made the restaurant our next meeting location so we can try it out!

I usually order my go-to to test out a Thai restaurant, so I ordered the pork pad see ew ($14.95) and mild golden curry with chicken ($14.95). I would've ordered a fried rice, but the mild papaya salad ($13.95) caught my attention instead. Note that the dishes come with your choice of chicken, pork, or tofu included in the price, but if you want beef, it'll be an extra dollar, and for shrimp, an extra $2. What was surprising was that the curry doesn't come with white rice. You'd have to fork out an extra $2.50 for that. I thought everything tasted great, though both the papaya salad and pad see ew was a little heavy on the sauce.

My friend ordered mango sticky rice ($12.99) for dessert and I was surprised and happy they had that available (I went to another Thai restaurant during Christmas time and while they had the mango sticky rice on the menu, they said it was not in season so they weren't selling any). I took a few bites of it and enjoyed it -- not too sweet and not too heavy! Don't forget to check-in on Yelp for a free Thai tea.

Drove by this restaurant and figured we would try it.The experience was one we will absolutely recommend, regarding both food and true Chinese culture. An appetizer was brought out that we did not order, as it was included, which was right away different and tasted unlike any other soybean and peanut I’ve experienced. It was delicious!The lamb and beef was cooked to exact request and was also delicious!While we have dined at many Chinese restaurants throughout the United States, as we travel extensively and dine out regularly this surf past any, and all other restaurants, we’ve dined in for this type of food. Here’s the difference this was not Chinese food that has been Americanized in most Chinese restaurants. This was true Chinese prepared food.I truly believe you would have to travel to China to get this quality of food and culture.I will also say that we spent 3/4 of our time speaking to Cindy, whose father owns the restaurant which caters to home cooked events at homes, so this is not their primary source of how they deliver the product to the public.
