My son and I are huge fans of great Hawaiian Barbecue and when he moved onto campus at the University of La Verne he called me to share that he had found an amazing place. He is now in his junior year and we have been regulars at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue at least two or three times a month for three years now! I like getting the pokey bowl with white rice and musubi. this place has always been classic to go to. I always prefer the pokey. That’s basically the only thing I get now. I usually get the other combos, but the sleeper is the fry shrimp. Get that with some rice and you’ll be all good. the service is always good when I go there and is basically the same staff, which is cool. Classic.
