“What a great little place this is! The selection of wine is clearly thought out and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and able to present appropriate pairings to the food offered as well. “The food is good, however, the service could use improvement. The server was slow to take our order and slow to bring our food. In the outdoor patio, the smoke from the smoking section came over into the non-smoking section, so what's the point in separating the sections.“

This location has fresh squeezed orange juice on the spot!, so freshening, I only wish I had a larger cup to drink ?This is a nice little spot for La Verne? they have a great little menu, not overwhelming at all and it covers the breakfast basics. “The food here is soooo good!! The flavors are so on point. One thing that stuck out to me besides the awesome food, is how incredibly nice the staff is. I met the owner and the guy that works there also, and they are the nicest people I have ever met. A homeless person came in and was very hungry but didn't have enough to pay for the meal, so the owner sat her down and told her pick something on the menu and gave it to her for free and also kneeled down and had a conversation with the lady. She took care of her with such a kind, caring heart. Hands down the best place ever. ??“
“Came here randomly for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I like Mediterranean food and tend to favor the Iranian kabobs, like Koobideh and Soltani filet mignon. This place is Armenian and has their versions which are also good. The chicken kabobs were juicy and marinated well. All the different sides we got were delicious. The only thing that was little dry was the beef Lule...the Iranian version beef Koobideh is usually juicy and seasoned very well.I would definitely eat here again.“

“We never ate here at least from the food trucks that they have because there are many good food places around. But it's a great place to have a drink and watch some good comedy sets! The beer selection could use some work but still very good amount of options. Just think about it as a place to hang out with friends and have a couple brewskies!“
“Everything was good except for the garlic fries. They were overwhelming to the point of after having 1 we had trouble tasting our other food. I like garlic but this was way too much. Besides that we would return but without the garlic fries. After getting a response from the owner I was corrected by saying that they don't have garlic fries, they have truffle fries.Even more troubling because they tasted garlicky and way over seasoned with that truffle flavor that you added.Therefore I stand corrected.Truffle fries....“
“I have only had the bagels here and they’re pretty good . Five stars for just being a great mom and pop shop . Having good service and having decent bagels plus they have a drive through. I practically finished my bagel and then remembered to take a picture oops ?“

“I’ve enjoyed this establishment many times, usually celebrating a birthday. This time was no exception. We had a party of about 12 ladies. I made the reservation and the person who answered the phone was very helpful. We were seated outside with the fire going through the center of our tables. They had some faux animal rugs to sit on. The food was fabulous. We had some community fries for the table. I ordered the salmon bowl. I was there was a little more rice with it. The server was nice, friendly and helped take photos with the birthday girl. I had to ask several times for my hot water but that’s alright. Supporting local business is my thing so I highly recommend dining here.“
“We were in the mood for Italian food and decided to try Allegro in La Verne for first time. It was by far the best Italian food we have had. The restaurant is beautiful, spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The service was excellent, Nicky was great! There is plenty of free parking. The food was outstanding. From the bruschetta, to the meatball trio, to the pastas and desserts…amazing!“

And the food here is very good, served by the best group of ladies, cooked by excellent cooks. It's a happy place with smiles from everyone that works there and those served there, too.
