“Absolutely loved our visit to Ivy Juice Bar in La Verne. They serve açaí bowls, smoothies/shakes, fresh juices, and even some small bites. Everything is made with real ingredients you can actually taste; no artificial flavors or overly sweet syrups — just clean, honest, and tasty blends. The ambiance is also great. Inside is cool, clean, and inviting. Whether you’re dropping in after a workout, meeting a friend, or just looking for a place to chill for a bit, you won't be disappointed in stopping here.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly welcome, which set the tone for the entire experience. The staff here truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They are super kind and helpful with recommendations. You can tell they really care about the quality of what they’re serving. They even had a poster in front asking what you were grateful for and left markers for customers to write their answers. It's the little things like this that set small businesses apart.

We tried the Machata, Owner's Bowl, and one more drink, but we forgot the name of it (it had spinach). All were fantastic!

The Machata (matcha meets horchata) was amazing - creamy, refreshing, with the perfect balance of earthy matcha, cinnamon, and light sweetness. This one really hit the spot. If you're a fan of matcha or looking to try something different, don’t skip this!

The Owner's Bowl (açaí and coconut base, granola, oats, peanut butter, strawberry, blueberry, banana, coconut and agave). Wow — just wow! It was visually stunning and absolutely loaded with fresh, vibrant ingredients - from the fruit to the granola on top. It was the kind of bowl that makes you feel good about what you're eating, but also totally satisfies your cravings.

I had been meaning to come in for some time and support them because I had been following their Instagram page since I had been to their other location and I have seen them go through a couple of break-ins and other setbacks at this new location, including recent construction in the parking lot that affected foot traffic and, of course, business. Because the staff is made up of a lot of young adults who depend on this income, the owner got on social media and requested for customers to come in and showed the route you could take from the street, through the construction, to easily find their front door - so she wouldn't have to cut hours for her staff. This owner REALLY cares about her employees.

Overall, this place is a gem. It’s the kind of small business you genuinely want to support — great people, excellent products, and a real sense of community. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. If I could afford it I would probably go here every day. So yeah, I HIGHLY recommend.“

Stopped by Poki Tomik while passing through La Verne for a meeting and had such a great experience. Ricky helped me build my poke bowl and was incredibly kind, and friendly. I had a specific sauce request and even when the bottle wasn’t working, she went above and beyond to make it right.

It’s refreshing to come across a place with staff who are truly customer service driven. Thank you for hiring people like Ricky she made my visit a great one. I don’t live in the area, but I’d definitely stop by again!“

“Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.“

“My staff had our Staff Christmas Party here. We had half of the patio area which was perfect. The staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to take care of our large group. We had one with food allergies and they happily made accommodations for them. The food was fresh and delicious. The drinks including wine, sodas, iced tea, and water were appreciated.“

“I had such a great experience at this Italian restaurant, and a big part of that was our server, Gabby. From the moment we sat down, she was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind.

“Hi again to all you gastronomic foodies. Today's food adventure took us to Aoki sushi in La Verne California. If you are in the area please give them a try. The food was very good and fresh. You will notice right away as you walk in, that the atmosphere is rustic but inviting. The service was warm prompt and friendly and the food was very good, the sushi was very battery and succulent. We shared a bento box and a rainbow roll for our lunch, it was so good. Not only were we very happy with the quality but there was plenty of food to fill both of us up. “Well, food is excellent, I was there for breakfast, was my first time there. The choices were great, I ordered from a specials menu… delicious, I had one scrambled egg, cooked to perfection, hash browns, sausage… all very good. I was there with a couple of friends, they each got omelets. Service wad quick, and friendly. Very attentive. Great music from the 1959’s… it was playing in the background. “We have been coming to The Habit since they opened. This one in particular under manager Manny is amazing. Today we had veggie burgers and they made them to perfection. I will say I miss the thin and sliced cucumbers from years ago. The onion rings were crispy. Lastly, their Pepsi is Wow! Please do whatever you’re doing and not change that machine. We are a coke family. However, the Pepsi here is incredible.
