“Hi again to all you gastronomic foodies. Today's food adventure took us to Aoki sushi in La Verne California. If you are in the area please give them a try. The food was very good and fresh. You will notice right away as you walk in, that the atmosphere is rustic but inviting. The service was warm prompt and friendly and the food was very good, the sushi was very battery and succulent. We shared a bento box and a rainbow roll for our lunch, it was so good. Not only were we very happy with the quality but there was plenty of food to fill both of us up. “Excellent service and food! Our family are regulars there and we joined them for lunch and had a delicious meal. Shout out to Abel and the entire lunch crew. You all were wonderful especially with our large group (including babies). The ramen, various sushi rolls, tempera, asparagus appetizer, miso soups and rice were all excellent and full of flavor! “This is hands down the best sushi spot in town. The food is exceptional, and the service is just as impressive.
What really stood out to me was how attentive the staff were. They were constantly sweeping, wiping tables, refilling soy sauce, and making sure every customer was taken care of.

Stumbled upon this place from an Instagram reel and was not disappointed at all. Fish is surprisingly fresh for San Dimas(owner has their own seafood distribution) and rivals that of higher-end omakase style sushi restaurants in So Cal while maintaining a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.

Definitely a hidden gem until more know of it. Will be back again.“

We enjoyed our rolls and chicken fried rice and we're sad we were traveling and couldn't take it with us. “I really loved this place! Such a good spot for date night. I really enjoyed the bbq ribs appetizer. My boyfriend had the fried oysters appetizer all to himself. I loved the albacore served with very thin slices of onion and a small bed of rice. The California roll was superb. Washed it all down with their Nigori sake & crème brûlée. Love that they are open late on Saturdays too. 10/10 for me 😍“

Got a 2 protein poke bowl with 2 scoops of salmon. I asked for half rice and half salad, but wow there's a LOT of rice. My brother didn't mind since he likes rice, but I was a bit peeved. (EDIT: Oh, also the poke bowl is drowned in sauce. My brother loves eel sauce so he was glad, but just letting other customers know!)

The staff behind the counter was nice and was patient with me while I was asking my brother for the toppings and sauces that he wanted in his poke bowl. Sorry I took so long, at least there was no one in the store!

“This place is so good!!! The moment i walking in, they all greeted us. And get seated very quick. I ordered Mr. mango , ohhh it was soo good! So refreshing with mango. I really enjoyed everything. The selection of the menu are huge. So so many dishes you can ordered, from fresh sushi, baked or fried, alos have ramen , udon and just so many many options. Even have bento box and rice bowls.

The service also realy really good, it can get really busy. But my food come out in a good time.

“Went for a quick breakfast. Got a Mocha Latte and a Sausage and Bacon breakfast burrito. I thought it was a little pricey at $21. Burrito had a lot of potatoes and a little underseasoned. Overall it was really good and all ingredients tasted homemade. The atmosphere was different, yes it was a little cluttered but I personally dont mind that. Limited seating is available so I recommend getting to food to go. I think I'll give this place another shot next time I am around.“

I called and they asked to come back and my order was ready as soon as I arrived. Most people would not give 5 stars for missing items but the way it was handled shows exceptional service. They do not have a lot of options for Hawaiian BBQ but their sushi rolls and egg rolls are amazing.“

“Restaurant is AYCE for all patrons. There are 2 dinner options - the lesser rate includes limited carpaccio, but no sashimi. The higher cost dinner has unlimited carpaccio and unlimited sashimi. I think the price is worth it for what you can get. Went here mid-week for dinner and wait time was pretty fast. Once we placed our orders using the QR code on our phone, the orders came out quick. Everything tasted good, though it was in small servings so you'd have to order in multiples if you're a large group. The sushi rolls had slightly too much rice I think which fills you up fast. The nigiri had the right amount of rice, which was very little. The carpaccio had 5 kinds of fish options, all tasted really good. Wait staff were friendly and efficient. The tables were placed a little too close together (you can hear conversations at next tables). Overall atmosphere was OK. We'd come back here again.“

We had the toro, A5 wagyu, shima aji, the Oyishi roll, and the BG salmon roll—every single bite was outstanding. You can really tell the care and skill that goes into the food.

“The service was good. The girl that was helping me out was nice. I had ordered food for a takeout the food in my opinion was really good. I enjoyed all of it. But what I didn't like was the portion of the sauce inside the food tray as you see in the picture that's the one that I got inside the tray. Barely anything inside I had to buy extra sauce that was actually filled more than the one that was in the tray, and that is the disappointing part. Because the trays are not what you would say cheap $15 for a meal give or take with no drink only to get skimmed on the sauce. The other part I didn't like was that the girl gave me 2 receipts and it also had the option to tip in my opinion, I don't see a reason to tip when I am ordering takeout. I would understand if I was eating there, but I wasn't, that is just my opinion.“

They have lunch specials that I clue miso soup and salad. Highly recommend coming here for lunch. Your whole party must be there to be seated and it gets busy (always a good sign).“
